Seriously, not seeing much variation between body types. For being different species entirely they shore do all have the same exact build and stature. Guess that's a feature of AI CG.

Faces too. The only real way to tell most of them apart is by ears and hair.
On another note, the overview says absolutely nothing about the game except that it's a fantasy dating sim. Who are we playing as? What's the premise?

Is that the new meta now for indie game devs? Using AI to do all the work (and fuck up with things like the amount of fingers?) and not even that good when it comes to body shape variety or different faces?

It definitely isn't perfect but the art is pretty damn good for AI. The progression rate of this technology is pretty insane.
This is so weird to me, I'm currently working a lot with AI for shits and giggles and things like fixing the number of fingers is a cinch but so many just skip that step. I guess the developers should get some form of kudos though for getting the art consistent... too bad it's too consistent. As someone mentioned above me, same body type.

Yeah, maybe I'm crazy, but this art seems better than 90% of the games on here. They just need someone to take a minute and erase that sixth finger.

That depends on what your priorities are. This kind of generative art has an overall "polished" look if you edit out the obvious faults, because it has a style of coloring and shading that is fairly work intensive to get smooth.
But that polish is at the expense of distinctiveness, because you get these kinda samefaced averaged-out designs. I personally prefer art that has some creative flair, even if some of it is "worse".

Art for the girls looks good but that is it. Try to show with at least one picture how the male with interact with the girls(if there will be males) and showing off some of the date sim and/or map is good too.
