Ren'Py - Lustful Sin [v0.6.3] [UnusualFishGame]

The draw of this game seems to be its mind control and corruption elements, sadly both elements are poorly executed.

Mind control is at its best when it acts as a subtle influence over the controlled - and the best games in this genre are ones where that influence slowly allows for naughtier and naughtier situations to happen, despite a characters initial reservations or outright dismissal of the act itself. In this game, you possess them immediately and are instantly allowed to go absolutely hog-wild on them. This means that there really isn't much more to work towards once you've initially possessed them (which is right away). They don't resist, and they obey willfully, hell, they even enjoy it, right away.

In my eyes, this game is just sex, and nothing more. As vanilla as can be. All as a result of its inability to explore the concepts in even an ounce of actual depth.

So then that leaves the art style. Sadly, the renpy anime shit bores me, especially without any proper hook. I play gooner games and somehow this game is the only one that feels like an actual waste of my time.

Very Great game with mind control with possession, I like this game with possession, hopefully add harem, and hopefully the creator make more scenes. The story is normal but sometimes making story per character is too short, need more story of character. Thank you I voted you

I've played a lot of games based around mind control, and none of them are as well done as Lustful Sin. The quality in the writing for the characters, story, and world is top-tier and very clearly more than just excuses for sex scenes. I actually look forward to the story and interactions with each character which is not something I can say of most games in this genre. The art is clean and there are even animations for the NSFW scenes. The NSFW scenes are also optional and completely skippable if you're not interested in them. There are quality of life features like the ability to replay past events, change your character name, and turn off the corruption mechanic. Lustful Sin is simply a tier above the rest, and I look forward to each new patch and the content it brings.

I really like the girls and renders, but there's way too much boring dialogue for my tastes. Main reason is a very long conversation will occur and it's the same 4-5 pictures of a girl the whole time. If there is any game that needs a gallery or cheat mod, this it.

Another renpy game its quick and fast to the scenes and they are almost all repeatable or all repeatable. no grind or anything which is fine by me and the renders are quite good especially during the choice sequence during the sex scence, especially in the more recent updates, cant wait for more.

Yet another game with just the right tags but terrible execution. The mind control is a "have sex now" button with zero consequences, what even is the point.
There is no actual corruption either and what male domination. When you have the option to play more aggressive, it is a fake option because the game doesn't let you, I hate this the most actually. A game with such tags and it forces you to be some weird "nice guy".
Every time I see this game I want to download it because it looks so promising but then I get reminded, oh it's that game.
Of course the sandbox is absolutely pointless with nothing to do as well.

Interesting plot. Very engaging and while it isn't a 10/10 story, it's still a fairly new game. I'd still give the story/lore a 7/10 at the moment. You play as a 'spirit' who has embodied Lust, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Surprisingly, your character as well as the colleagues within the Deadly Sins are quite dandy people save for some character quirks. Despite being a gentleman, you have no qualms manipulating girls for sex. I quite like that personally. The game summary should've given you an idea what your role is (somewhat).

Now overall the character models and chosen characters are all nice. It's very easy to access all the possible sex varieties, although one of the sex options that I'd dub it: Doll Control or emotionless, is tucked away later down the story progression and not all the characters have this option yet as it's still being pushed out.

You'll see a lot of people complaining about sex positions and I agree with them. Very limited that I wish there were more variety for each character or even camera angles. At the moment as of writing this review, each character has at least 2-3, some even have 4, variations for intercourse but either due to laziness of the developer or just not enough time, the variations still sport the same pose and it's not very engaging. They're all basic Koikatsu Party poses and some models look a tad off when engaging sexual intercourse.

But if you want a quick and easy fap to certain situations related to mind control, I'd say this is pretty good.

Beautiful visual design choice with a very interesting plot that has a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to more worldbuilding and learning more about all the 7 sins. Dialogue feels mature and not overbearing, which is great.

Jokes aside, it's a very good game, at first it starts out strange, but the more you read and the more you learn about the story, the more interesting it becomes.
To say something "bad" would I say that the sex scenes outside the story are not very "significant"? I mean, they're good and the animations are good, but how come they don't have any weight after the first time? I don't know, also the ones that are within the story or the first time are very good

It's a really good game in the sense that the girls are great, the sex is nice and I do like the story and writing. The writing does fall off quite a bit though later on by showing us a bunch of other characters view points and dialogue and the MC is really written out as being the MC and is just kind of another piece in this giant puzzle of characters. I also detest the sandbox aspects. Please, if you are making one of these games, do not include sandbox mechanics if there are not going to be some type of grinding RPG elements. Having this big sandbox and then putting in a bunch of different events at different times of day at all these different locations is not fun and engaging. All this does is artificially stretch out gameplay and make new content tedious to get to. Just make it a VN with branching paths and a lot of options on how you want to approach each situation. I also wish there were more ways to use your powers because early on it's cool to use it for the first few girls but then its just meh because you know what's going to happen. Overall not a bad game at all just another game that is hamstrung by pointless sandbox mechanics.

Wasn´t this dissapointed in a long time.

This game has a massive problem, the first about 1:30h or a little bit more are really good , the story is nothing special but good, the characters are okay and I really liked the many sex scenes in the beginning, they had good animations and I liked the control/hypno aspect. But after that the porn almost stops complety sometimes you see some boobs but nothing more, in a porn game this is a really big problem, instead just always new hot characters , which probably will never appear again are introtuced one after the other with no sex scenes at all.

I liked the story but only focusing on the story and not the most important part of a porngame, the porn is just annoying I wouldn´t mind it so much if the beginning didn´t have that many sex scenes but it did and now it just feels like the developer tried to make a porngame at the start and then decited to rather make a story game with light sexual content I hate that.

And the story just isn´t good enough it becomes really boring, the dialogues get far too long and the MC becomes less important, even scenes where he isn´t there at all which I always hate.

The sandbox also feels really useless, since most of the game is pretty linear.


I can´t recommend this game, if you want a porngame, if you want a game with an okay story you can try it. But I don´t really see how this game will ever be finished, it will probably be abadoned, but who knows maybe it will get finished and be really good at the end but I doubt it at the current state.

Let's start with the biggest con with this game: THE VISUALS.

Because, my god! It looks so generic and uninspired both in graphics and presentation.

It looks so goddamn flat, with near zero shader & lighting work!

The models are just Kokiatsu models without much tinkering to make them look more standout. The environment is also generic and bland, lacking any environmental art direction.

The worst aspect has to be the sex scenes, because the animation are literally the default sex scenes repurposed, with the default posing. They look so dull and unarousing. And the worst part is that it's only 2-stage sex which is shit in 3D porn.

The game looks so fucking dull that I would genuinely rate this game as one of the worst Kokiatsu-based games of all time if it weren't for the decent writing.

Because the devs pretty much made a decently unique plot. It's not the most thought-provoking plot, but intelligible enough to be engaging. Unlike other corruption games that simply feeds the fetish, there's an actual reasoning behind the corruption aspect.

In this VN, the dude's one of the deadly sins, Lust, which was trapped for hundreds of years, and thus, he must solve the mystery behind his trapping & what happened to the town before he was trapped. The really cool thing about this is that his corruption / brainwash thing isn't just for the sake of malice / power fantasy but rather because he needs life force to survive, and that he doesn't really want to harm people at all, which makes him unique as opposed to the trope of comical pervertedness that plagues the corruption tag. Along with likeable and well-written cast, the writing is decent.

Now bear in mind, this games suffers from narrative dissonance where the plot MC's personality is completely disjointed from the sandbox interactions that you do. So the nuanced MC that is in the plot is not the same as you going around the town fucking girls left and right. This exposes the barebone sandbox of this game, because the players can do whatever they want without any consequences because there's no morality system in place. The barebone sandbox system in this game is holding the writing back.

This style of VN and plot definitely needs a morality system because it allows the player to shape the MC to whatever character they want. If they want the comical pervertedness, they can at the cost of the relationships between the other Sins and him. Not only that, corruption in this game lacks any effort to do so, since there's no layers to it. Like you're not corrupting them, you just straight up brainwash them which is fucking boring.

In order for the game to work for the future updates, they definitely need to revamp the visuals altogether, and develop a system to facilitate with the players action.

Overall, I'm both concerned and interested in what direction this game may go. But as of the current state (v0.3.4), this game's mediocre. 3/5.

I have no fucking idea on why the other reviewers rate this game 5/5. Like, did these MFs played good games at all?

I could wait for some more updates to evaluate, but I can't, I need to say how perfect this game is, the appearance of the characters is based on the best of the animes I know, I saw several references, about the story I'm a big fan of these stories that involve demons and supernatural things, and I must say that this capital sin reminded a lot of fullmetal alchemist, and sin Nanatsu no Taizai, and you can see that the animations in the scenes are made with care and affection, the expressions that the girls they do with your choice or depending on the moment, very detailed and all beautiful, I must say that all so far are my favorites, our character is a kudere, but it is to be expected for those who are called "ghost" haha, and even then he already talks much more than many characters, interacts with everything that happens around him, you can see that he cares about the events that happen around him and with the girls, maybe I'm exaggerating or maybe it's love at first sight with this game, I don't know, but if I have to mention a problem, it would be that one girl says something with another's name above the dialogue, leaving me in doubt as to which one said something, or maybe I'm just seeing things.. but it's certainly worth all the stars, and if the dev continues with the game at this level, I don't see how it won't work.

Literally the exact kind of mind control I was looking for, and the girls ain't half bad looking either. Still not entirely sure where the story is going, from what I can see, Lust ain't such a bad demon after all.

The girls look good. It's a nice feature to choose the level of attire for sex scenes.

The story is interesting. Basically the 7 deadly sins have physical manifestations on Earth, and you're lust. The others exist in the world as well.

The grind is minimal. The game knows it's a sex game, and there's plenty of sex.

Eager to see this continue to grow.

So far, good game. The story is good, well presented (the english could be better tho, but there are no complaints here.:It can be understood and that is the important thing, although not everyone will think the same ). For a pr0n game this is really an acomplishment, (Despite being a 0.1 version).

There are some good ideas not explored in most XXX games here: Optional nude scenes for example. Some people will like that, but don't expect much variety in the sex scenes tho (well, not much games have that, but also rendering an animation is not cheap exactly, unless you know how to use blender eevee) . Personally i would love to see 2 or 3 variants for some scenes (e.g. BJ or sex( for all characters, but "as it is" right now, is pretty good. (little spoler here: try Hana's handjob variants).

Overall, 4 of 5. Keep up the good work!

Good game. I'm a big fan of being an evil MC, and this has that right up my alley.
Mind control is the main focus of the game, and as an avid Mind Control fan, this scratches that itch very well.
The game doesn't blue ball, but it does build up to more degenerate activities from a moral stand-point.
Seeing the after effects of the mind control and your powers on the girls as they go about their day is also great.
If you're into being evil and using characters, this is for you.
Can't wait to see more versions, and will be a Patron once it's set up.

So far liking the story. most games i play on fast forward but not this one. keep up good work. Most games have very outladish stories that dont make sence or characters that you dont care about past the 15 second sex scene. the story seem good so far. Ai's characters you realy feel a sence of wanting to treat her right and drain the rest.
