Thanks for the response! I'm absolutely looking forward to your updates!

Just a bit of clarification regarding the base building and management aspect, what is meant isn't platformer, but side scrolling. I wanted to know the viewpoint, like is it going to be side-scrolling, top-down, a mix of both, or something completely different you know?

Regarding the incest content, that's unfortunate but understandable, any chance of a nickname system tho? I ask specifically because of Violyn and Miriku, those are absolute mommies and I desperately want to call them mommy _____ and see a reaction. I ask, but I understand if it doesn't fit in to whatever you've got established and wouldn't want you guys to force it.

Totally! When we say the base-building viewpoint, think Fallout Shelter style cross-section, not a side-scroller in the platforming sense. The camera looks straight into a 2D cutaway of the castle, letting you stack and expand rooms vertically and horizontally while still managing everything from a single, clean view. So it’s much closer to a cutaway management sim than a scrolling adventure.

As for the nickname/title system: while we aren’t doing anything that leans into restricted themes, letting players give titles or custom nicknames to unique characters is definitely something we can explore!

Man this game looks really good when do you plan on releasing the game
Thank you so much! As for a release date, we’re still a ways out but the team is fully committed and we do plan to put together an early access build down the line.

The art looks absolutely incredible. Very excited to see more. I have so much respect for people who do pixel art.

Also we both have Jackal-themed characters in our games!

Also those animations look amazing! AND the attention to the world-building and writing. Do you do any behind-the-scenes dev stuff on your process and all of that? This whole project looks like a stone cold 10/10.

Definitely gonna watch this closely. Just make sure not to over-scope your project to the point that it makes it difficult to finish it, sometimes it's easy to get carried away.

We’re very aware of the dangers of feature creep. It’s a lesson learned the hard way. We’re fully committed to finishing the core game as planned, and we already have a clear scope we’re sticking to. Any extra ideas or new features we get excited about are being intentionally saved for future DLC or post-launch updates, rather than bloating the base experience.

Appreciate you keeping an eye on us, and thanks again for the encouragement!

Happy New Year lovelies!
One of the first major reveals we’re excited to share in 2026 is the NPC workforce that powers your brothel. These are the everyday workers who keep the place alive. Serving clients, filling rooms, resting, bathing and moving naturally through the castle as part of the management loop.

The brothel workers are part of the management fantasy. They exist to run the business, service clients and create the living, voyeuristic atmosphere of the castle. They are not framed as the player’s personal partners, and there’s no emotional or romantic exclusivity implied there.These are the everyday workers who keep Lustria alive. The harem side of the game is focused entirely on the Lustresses. These are special, story-driven characters who are recruited through the campaign and are explicitly tied to the player. They don’t get shared out to clients and their content is written and framed around intimacy, attachment, progression and exclusivity with the player.

Cumtessas (Workers) =
business, atmosphere, management fantasy
Lustresses (Special Characters) = harem, intimacy, story, exclusivity
