Ren'Py - Lusty Buccaneers [v0.20] [Nika]

This game is good for what it tries to do. It does not strive to do too many or ambitious things which I think is perfectly fine! The art is good and I think the game creator is improving. Locking away the cheats behind a paywall feels OK since it's not free to create a game.

I think the pace of content updates should slow down so that updates are bigger. Existing content should also be expanded a bit with more meaningful interaction and short character arcs.

The ship can be organised better so the experiance is smoother. The different rooms and finding the girls is not very clear. The game creator should fix the game loop on the ship with some simple grinding for character stats and crafting. Also there needs to be more interaction with the girls.

Mediocre, grindy gameplay, cheats are locked behind a paywall, so I used console to modify variables, and it still blows. The CGs are boring and bland, typical of AI art (Theres some good ai art out there, this game doesnt have any of it).

Game's pretty boring... I'd rather the girls have their lewd events tied to stories rather than 'click x 5000 times'. I'm a huge OP fan but man this ain't it. Everyone's personality is flat, story is uninteresting.

I'll give a star for art but it's AI if I'm not wrong. It doesn't really matter that it's early on in development, jump starting with 3 characters I think is a mistake. You have less time to bond with them and the characters are quite off from their OP counterparts. "Robin" is way more excitable. Why? Maybe the events of her past didn't occur here... I wouldn't know, it's never explained or explored. Sex scenes are kinda whatever too its just an image going back and forth.

For my fellow OP enjoyers, keep an eye on this but don't waste your time.

I'm not all for grinding on porn games but thats just personal taste.
It'd be great for more scenes to be added and maybe some walkthrough mod or cheat mod to skip the farming for those that are here for more manual activities *wink wink*

Straight forward, simple and not too grindy at all. Getting money is fairly easy once you get to thriller bark and can easily just rob graves. The combat system is also quite easy as you can just speed train for several days in a row without any consequences or missing out on content. If I had one major complaint about the game it's that the ship combat is quite lackluster, though it seems the focus right now is more on narrative development than additional content. Either way, once more content has been published it will be a casual and easy game to cruise through.

i hope updates will reward interactions more and allow sex scenes in girl room if she likes you

This is a rip-off of another game copied almost equally if not for the upgrade in graphics. They still stayed in 2D so not even that is much. Very grindy and with scenes of not so big quality. If you enjoy OP try it, but keep low expectations

As a One Piece fan, I'm really enjoying this game in version 0.3!! It makes small references everywhere, has very good images (for being AI, I don't see any flaws), has more and more mini-games, and looks like it's going to be a very good RPG! I hope they keep adding content, girls, mini-games, and story content... I hope it becomes a great game! My rating is for the great potential it has!
