Mac "Game.app" Not working

When ever I download a game that is a .rar file. After uzipping it and i try to launch the game i get this error:


Anyone know how to resolve this? It keeps me from playing several games, and it's REALLY annoying.

Just to clarify, you are trying to play these games on a Mac, correct?

That is correct. I am able to play Renpy games that are downlaoded in a .vip file but if it downloads in a .rar file they will not run.

@JesterSmash have you solved the issue yet?
This usually occurs when the game is created on a PC, and then saved with the wrong permissions for a mac. You have to fix the permissions to get it to work. A mini app was scripted up here to
