Most likely you have the dll file in the wrong plugin folder you proly put it in the game plugin file but there is a plugin file in the BepInEx file you just unpacked in the first step.
It's confusing because it tells you to put it into the game plugin file in the original post but if you follow the instruction here it should work this time.

things I found while using 1.2.7 on 0.5.2_beta game:
- while time is frozen, trying to set time to day/night/dawn/etc doesn't work or is "funny"
- editor behaves strangely, when renaming a character or when a character "matures"
...(freezes, can't click on it, list disappears)
...-- so it turns out the reload site button is blank
- the bag size to 50 thing is bugged. if i use it while being man, wasd starts staggering, opening bag opens Yona's bag, changing playable character restricts control over game even more.

things I couldn't find:
- can we even change the voice of native girl? or is it pure rng
