named NPCs, you need to complete story parts for them. Natives already will have FOLLOW option and any creatures(Bigfoot, Werewolf, Giant) will also have these options.

Haven't had the main girls be capture so it's fine. The raider spawn is so whack that I usually just turn them off as they happen. Or I just save and load.

You just click on them, or Ctrl Left-Click if they're far, and select Follow. Yona is not a follower so you cannot command her to follow.
You can build a base on a hill with no access other than fast travel, go inside a house and sleep it off, if that is bothering you

I've tried but there are certain locations that does not have a lot of space for the facilities. I can deal with the raiders if there were only like 10 or so raiders or a slower spawn rate. But they spawn like crazy and form a native centipede with their current spawn rate. With the amount of people recommending X or Y location for bases throughout this thread, I've looked at them. Currently I am testing a base on an elevated platform. Place a set of stair and place platforms to create a 10x10 platform. So far, it seems to be working as the scouts just walk below the platform. Needs further testing however.
I can recommend a hill, east side of where you encounter Yona's friends. It is spacious enough that some raids slip from northern end of the hill sometimes.

I saw that posting of yours but when you say Yona's friend, I can't tell if you're talking about where Keigo & Reika is located, or east of where Takumi is located since there is also a cliff that you can reach there with the red flags.

I'll take a look at it later. I've tried building a base on top of the Spider Cave. It's a very spacious plateau. I was hoping that scouts won't spawn there but they unfortunately do.

when assault comes, one of your natives will be marked and if they got down, they will be taken away.
wait for a while, and on the right side of your screen a timer of 20 mins will show up, and the map was marked of the location that u need to rescue them, u will meet the prison guard, who has a lot hp
if failed, ur npc will be sacrifice and forever gone, if female npc, she will get raped when the timer reach lower than 10 mins
the decoy charm u got from killing the guard can be equipped to npcs in ur base, male mc and female mc won't work when there are more ally npcs in your base to target
npc who equipping this will most likely to be targeted

You cant escape from scouts honestly. But i have bigfoot, giantess and werewolf guarding north and south sides of my base so they cant make it to main areas. I though you were talking about raids though

With scout comes raid. It'll notify you that you've been spotted and then raids occurs short time later. I've had instances where I have not been spotted and no raids occur, like I had a base on the island on the west side of the map. It's a small island that fits enough of your screen to prevent scouts from spawning.
