Unity - Mad Island [v0.27 Beta] [E-made+]

Been playing the game since it's on closed beta on Ci-en. I can't say much about the sexual elements but it's a great game all by itself. Spent a bit over 100 hours now.
In short, it's a 2D Palworld type game but instead of pals you get to fight and capture aboriginals. The freedom you get from the game is pretty unlimited, with quite a big island for you to explore that contains unique enemies and animals. Combat can be hard but as for now there's no penalty for losing. 10/10 game and the devs are planning to make mods available on steam. Can't say there's a better money for the value game out there now.

pretty much the best survival game on the site, a lot of content, many different npcs to add to your settlement, an interesting romancing system where you basically need to spend time with your prisoner/villagers to get them to have intercourse with you. game has a lot, like ALOT of different things you can craft and customize, and after the first few hours when survival in terms of food, water and shelter is abundant, you can really start exploring the huge and diverse map, alot of different enemies with different powers can be found, with the main and side quests guiding you from place to place, i really think this is the best game, cant wait for further updates, you should also consider downloading the dlc from emade+ site, it introduces a bunch of different characters and items, the only criticism is that characters outside of sex don't really speak or do any other intimate activities like kissing outside of when you ask for sex, and a few more sex positions for the basic npcs would be great

Taking ques from Little Life and improving on everything that they've learned from their previous projects, Mad Island is a MASTERPIECE.

E-made+ has created the penultimate Eastern Base-building Survival Sim. A game that raises the bar for all other Base-building Survival Sims, and that's why the final verdict for Mad Island is a full highest rating that I can issue a 5/5 stars and it easily earns the BADASS Seal of Approval.

I can not wait to see all the DLC and expansions coming, now if you excuse me I have to play through it again as evil, doing all the side missions and playing with the joke option on which I neglected the first time around.

    QUICK SUMMARY!

To evaluate the game I will take into account that it is in early development and that there are no missions yet but the intention is to put them up.

The game is fun and invites you to explore beyond the sexual, it is raw, violent and explicit. It adds points to being able to remove censorship (touching the game files tho).
There are many enemies but there is sexual interaction with very few of them, it is strange to be able to interact with a werewolf but not with a wolf or the fact that the elderly are the worst but they do not interact sexually at any time despite having that option in the settings.
The gameplay seems to be more around the male character than the main one they give us(the girl), which took me a long time to discover (2 hours trying to get more than 2 animations with the female character)

    Final score: 75/100

Mad Island has all the foundations for an all-time classic of adult gaming. Taking a Don't Starve survival game as its basis, it adds extremely hardcore adult content on top, and manages to effectively integrate it into the gameplay.

Stranded on an island occupied by hostile tribes (along with mad scientists, sadistic treasure hunters, and a tomb of undead), you take control of two protagonists trying to reunite with their missing friends and escape. It doesn't take long for them to go fully native (outside of a gimmick playthrough, I guess), killing and raping along with the hardened killers inhabiting the island.

Narratively, there isn't much written for you, with only a handful of short cutscenes interspersed throughout the game. That said, the gameplay is the story; night-time raids on enemy tribes to capture slaves and resources, the gradual build-up of your village, and exploration of bizarre new locations in the mad lands you're stranded in. If you're a fan of Kenshi, you'll have a good sense of what to expect on this front; the sandbox the game provides gives you plenty of room to construct your own story.

I never felt constrained in terms of gameplay, but the "official" dev-written narrative does seem a bit bizarre depending on when certain events kick off, given what you're getting up to. When dealing with your companions, you'd think their reunion came before you started going all-in on atrocities (which is likely not the case for most people's first playthrough), but outside of it seeming a little odd, it's not too distracting. This content represents a tiny fraction of the experience. That said, if you're hoping for the story to "feel" right, head east after setting up a basic camp and gathering some resources, and look for a bridge along the river; cross it, encounter your first signs of the depraved effects of the island on castaways at a yellow tent, and head north to discover your friends. After your reunion, head back to the beach and head north to face off against the Boss Tribesman. After seeing what he's up to, it seems a lot more plausible that the protagonists would "Do as the Romans" on the isle.

The limitations, as they stand now, are mostly the result of limited art assets; while there's already a decent variety of clothes, village items, and so on, I hope we'll see even more to give our tribes and individual villagers more distinct flavors. A bigger issue is that not everything has H-animations yet; the female protagonist's limited to a single suitor, the specialty natives are all celibate or only available to the male protagonist, and some major fetishes (bestiality chief among them) aren't represented outside of extremely limited contexts.

If I had one major complaint, the AI isn't great; everything gets stuck on terrain with alarming regularity, characters will try to occupy identical waypoints with alarming regularity, and your villagers love to stand in front of you whenever you're up to anything raunchy. It's not deal-breaking, but I hope improvements will be made.

In terms of minor complaints, there is way too much finicking around with the UI that distract from gameplay. You want to take a trophy from your kill? Get ready to swap to your knife, navigate to the menu, exit the menu, swap to your axe, navigate to the same menu, exit the menu, and swap back to your weapon, all through an annoying drag and drop interface. Good luck remembering which of the dozens of chests contains what, something particularly obnoxious when you realize that clothing, weapons, and other items don't stack.

For those of you who don't have as much time to play H-games as you'd hope, I highly recommend the cheats. Some of the options can preserve the gameplay progression while eliminating the grind, facilitate base-building without worrying about finding where you put the iron bars, and so on.

All in all, I've deeply enjoyed my time with Mad Island, and can't wait to see it develop further.

EDIT: After a few restarts, I discovered a better "narrative start" option than what I had listed before, and adjusted it accordingly.

Time for a review of Mad Island by E-made+

A quick foreword: I played the v0.05 version for about 3.5 hours. Admittedly this is very early in the development of the game, so it will probably get better. However, at this point I cannot rate it more than an average experience.

    This review is separated into:
    • Game play
    • Controls
    • Character / activities
    • Porn
    • Summary

    Story

I prefer a good story in the games I play. The story is not always in focus, and that is fine if the game has strong elements in game play, mechanics and porn. Mad Island should not be played for its story. There is basically no story and you can’t really talk with anybody.

    Game play

The core game play of Mad Island is exploration followed by survival. There is also quite some area to explore, as the map is quite large. This is sometimes a good thing because it allows you to experience different stuff on the island. That is, if there is different stuff to experience.

That is not currently the case for Mad Island. Different environments exist; forests, pine forests, swamp and desert. But they *feel* similar. The MC didn’t become thirstier in the desert, and the enemies behaved the same as everywhere else. Essentially, the different areas didn’t convey a different theme or feeling.

The survival aspect of the game is not well developed yet and you’d be forgiven if you missed it completely. The MC don’t need any sleep which means that sleeping is only used for healing. You do need to craft stuff like a stone axe, but it is kept fairly minimal. You can build stuff like walls, but it wasn’t all that well implemented with it clipping through the ground. More importantly, there is no point in crafting a base.

The leveling system is also too slow. The system is split into skill points and level up points. Level up points are used to develop either strength, health or speed. My recommendation is to only put 2-3 points in speed, you don’t need more. Put the majority in strength and maybe enough in health to reach 50 or 60 hp. For skill points you need 5 points to buy one 1 skill, which then raises the cost of said skill. This makes it very slow to progress in skill points.

You can take different actions, like raiding the tribal camps for resources, but it doesn’t really carry any repercussions. I often snuck into their tents, killed the sleeping tribal people or just stole the food. I was also discovered doing this, but it never really led to them really going after me, which it should.

    Controls

The controls are convoluted. The game doesn’t tell you what to do or how to do it. For example; there are abilities called ‘grapple’ and ‘heavy strike’, what are they used for? No idea. How to use them? No idea.

    Character / activities

Unfortunately, the game is quite empty in terms of activities. There are some areas with missions/quests, but they are far between. I would also have loved to get some agency in them. Just because I talk with somebody doesn’t mean I want to do a scripted mission. Alternatively, I’d like to not fight them.

Other than that you basically run around and explore, but this grows fairly old as most of the island quickly feels samey.

    Porn

The porn part of the game is unfortunately quite underdeveloped and boring. The only way to get sex is if you lose. At that point you’ll be raped and then discarded. Afterwards you simply stand up and move about like nothing happened. I like that it isn’t a game over, but it would be fun if there were more to it. Like being captured in a raid: now you’re held captive, and you must either try to escape or accept your new life as the fucktoy of the tribe. Maybe the chieftain’s son is disabled and none of the tribal women wants him, now you’re given to him etc. Or perhaps you manage to turn your situation around and become a functioning member of the tribe. Perhaps this will be added in time.

It's also only a few monsters - primarily bosses, that have porn content. All other monsters will simply kill you and nothing else. I like that every single piece of wild life will fuck you - a wolf should hunt you, not mate with you. But certain should have stuff going with them; like the worm-like parasites at the swamp or the monstrous degenerate people of hellish underground.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend playing this game for the porn content.

    For quick reading:
    The Good
    • Decently looking MC
    • Can create fast-travel points
    • Graphics are pretty
    The In-between
    • Half-baked crafting system. No real point in crafting beyond the very basic axe/pickaxe and leaf bed.
    • The events you can find is a bit too scripted. Would’ve been nice with a choice.
    • There is a detailed skill system. It would be nice if they showed more about her personality and tenacity than them only being pure survival skills or create a skill tree for that too.
    The Bad
    • No real progression
    • No point in base building
    • No way to either submit to or build relations with people
    • Kinda feels like a missed opportunity to not create sexual encounters with the more ordinary monsters.

    Horker14

The Don't Starve sequel we deserve.

It's fun going around raping anime girls, enslaving their relatives and crafting lampshades out of their skin. Aka your average japanese game experience. Or you can have female character moment if you like getting raped by everyone instead.

But mechanically the game is quite mid and nothing special, not much challenge if you're into that kind of thing, braindead bosses, poor combat and passable base building, bare bones story. However it's a porn game with actual gameplay and good bit of content and progression and with two customizable protags. Game with good potential and will be enough for 15-30 hours in it's current state.

Meanwhile you can just roleplay your weeb version of Cannibal Holocaust or play it as a harem game where all your slaves are anime girls who just dance lewdly and scissor each other in between you fucking their brains out before you get bored with the game.

I recommend leveling up harvest perk and setting up a resource gathering slave base asap as it would reduce the grinding of basic materials.

Definity top 3 best games I've played on this website. Although the game is in early access so there's a lot of things not in the game yet, despite this there's still alot of content and a good gameplay loop for a game so early in development. It's basically your typical survival sim (And is as grindy as one) but with some porn every here and there. Like i said the game is in early access so there's a lot of things missing, (like Story NPCs cant wield weapons or get pregnant, you can completely ignore hunger and water and won't die from it.) There IS some extreme content but it's COMPLETLY optional and not mandatory to enjoy the game. All in all this game is VERY Promising and i will be buying it once it's in a more stable state.

The games basically dont starve with almost every possible fetish you can think of and it would probably play very vell if the devs made a co-op version of it.
The are several bugs and the games not finished yet, that doesnt mean you wont have fun with it and the playtime without cheating is quite long.
You can play as a dude and rape the female natives (r) or role play as a girl and get raped on lose. Pregnancy mechanic currently only seems to work with the dude and you can make your own child army or tame yourself some pets...

tl;dr: Solid dont starve clone, not gonna lie

(Time of Review: v0.5) The most promising game that I've seen in such a long time. It has everything that you could possibly ask for AND it also has game play.

There is probably more than 20 hours of stuff to do and the base building element is quite fun. One critique that I have is that you HAVE to read a guide before you begin because the game tells you nothing. So much content but no dialogue or hints.

    Sleepiest_Not_Dage

Pretty much a messed up version of Don't Starve, pretty enjoyable overall but I believe it has the potential to improve the relationships with NPCs since that can be clanky at times.

Will check it out in a few months again to see how it improves.

It's a fun game that touches on a lot of fetishes, be warned there is extreme guro content, and while it can be avoided on the player side it is part of the game world. Despite the game version number, there is a several hours of gameplay already present, while there is no end-game yet, there is enough to keep players busy. Players can be either Male or female mc and can swap freely between the two though the current version favors the male in terms of gameplay, female mc makes the game feel more like your common female protagonist action game but she unable to assault male character sexual atm unlike the male and can only be assaulted.

    Bonsai465

Probably one of the best, if not the best, degenerate survival games Ive played, mixes the sandbox aspect of the genre with a decent enough story that keeps you interested in seeing how fucked up the bosses and npcs you meet are. Learning about the different species and fetishes in this game is pretty fun because it lets you do whatever you want for the most part. The choice is up to the player which adds a ton of replayability and fun to the game.

Overall the game is clearly in early access so a large chunk of features are missing and occassional bugs but the game doesnt feel lacking Ive been playing this game for the past week and thats all Ive been doing.

Lastly, I would love to see more end game content, the dungeon could have levels of difficulty so you have an incentive to keep improving yourself and your stats past a certain point, I expect a lot of improvement when it comes to the mid and late game, can't be more than excited.

    Kark-Jocke

This is my Review of Mad Island (V0.0.5 Steam)
    Made by the developer (EmadePlus)

There is a possibility that this Review will change when a new update comes later on since this game isn't finished yet.

Spoilers alert BTW! (Or maybe not)
    The Story-line: 4.4/5

It's a good start where you need to survive at the beginning, you can choose whether you want to play male or female and try to leave the island. You need to follow the storyline, but you are free to do whatever you want on the island before doing an event. The story is simple and easy to understand and you can choose what you want to do in those situations, and they have consequences if you fail (The kind of consequences that depend on how you look at it) There are only a few short events for both the Male & the Female.

Events will unlock new places for you to explore in the game.
Events have 3 types of colors: Blue, Red, and Green

Events for the Male character are: Blue
Events for the Female character are: Red
Events that can be done by Both are: Green

Doing events like this will give you rewards like building new things for your base, new types of recipes for food, and potions, and new followers who will fight for you if you do the right thing.

What annoys me the most is that if an enemy or a boss wins it will not change the storyline, only that you either die or get a lewd scene only for the female you're playing but that's it. You won't lose your character and she can't be impregnated just thrown to the side and that you have lost your virginity. Or respond like nothing ever happened... I hope they change that later.

An example: "It would be more realistic if you offer yourself if you lose, in the hope you can escape one day, or if not they will just kill you which means that you have only one character left to play until that person can escape from the island or end up dying.

It would make the game more of a survival game if it had more consequences where you can have another event like breaking out before it's too late if you stay too long by accepting the situation you're in. Or you can choose your other character to save that person if you feel safer doing so but! May end up losing that person too if you are not careful..."

This would have given you more reasons to be careful in the game. It would also make rewards more rewarding. It's a bit boring if the game says "Here try again" without any consequences to the character's choices and decisions.

    Animations and Art: 4,8/5

The game looks beautiful, the texture is great, the animations are smooth, you can edit your characters, and I would call it a great 2D game since you can't rotate 360 degrees, just right and left.

    Level of difficulty: 4.6/5

You can compare this game to (Don't Starve Together) gameplay, like how you move, fight, and build things, just a way more attractive appearance. You can choose what you want to do on the island, go freely where you want, and farm to build many types of things. The difficulty is a level system where you can level up to how much you can endure, how strong you can become, and how fast you're going to be. Not only that you also have an additional team skill for how fast you heal up, how far you can build, how slow you starve, and so on.

You have opportunities to hunt on land, go fishing, build farms, have livestock, hey you can even be a cannibal if you wish (Do whatever you have to do to survive, I guess...)

Now the lewd difficulties here are rare, not often you can choose if you want to do it the loving way or the raping way. None of them is just click-and-done. Your level and skill will make things harder for you which means, the reward feels much more rewarding.

You can take whatever female you want with your male character with rape, but you can't do it with your female character to other males (I guess... they wouldn't fight back if that happened...) You can either kill the females, rape them or beat them unconscious and take them as prisoners for whatever use you want. And male prisoners, but there is no (No male on male) as far as I have seen.
(Not complaining either, not my type of thing...)

You can easily end up playing the game for a second time, just to make another type of decision to see what would happen. (Or go back to an older save) is important to save often before doing events or fighting a boss to get all possible content.

The Sounds & Music parts: 4.7/5

The game has both sounds and music. It only lacks a few sounds here and there like, hearing wind and animal noises. There were enough sounds to enjoy the game, but have been great with a few more.

    Overall: 4.6/5 - F95Zone Star 5 "Fantastic"

The game is not a final version "which means" there may be a later edit. I didn't detect errors or bugs in my gameplay run. The girls, monsters, and the island looked great. I enjoyed this game, so much that I even bought it on Steam, I hope they add achievements.

P.S: I highly recommend visiting their main website (emadeplus.com) and downloading their DLC package called (DLCはこちら) to get more content and new hidden events. The DLC is free, this is the content that was removed from the game so they could sell it on Steam. For some reason, they had some limits for things on the small size, but not for everything else.

this is one of the rare good hentai games ever made and i would happily give it another 5 stars if i could.

If you ever played Rimworld with RJW mods from Loverslab then consider this game the lite version of the Rimworld sexmod.

while it is near impossible to get the sex mods to work together E-Made+ seems to have recreated an entire new game based on the mods.

it would be nice to see it copy all the extreme sex ideas from RJW like necrophilia, cumflation and raped to death etc.

and the male protagonist need a bigger penis.

Mad Island has the right mix of jank survival sandbox gameplay with extreme themes of gore/slavery/rape. Despite this, the game has tongue in cheek moments and humor that keep the game from getting too dark

While the storytelling in Mad Island is quite simple, the world itself is filled with survivors, natives, and monsters that will attack (and rape) you. It's pretty immersive for what it is.

You can play as either the male/female main character and switch between them mid game. As of writing most of the quest content is focused on the female character including rape defeat scenes. The male character can rape natives and there are a few H-scenes with quest NPCs

I've already put in 1 day of playtime. The game even as an early access title is my favorite H-game of the year so far. I went ahead and bought the game on Steam (A first for me when it comes to H-games).

    FrostedPhoenix

I've spent over 24 hours playing this game. It's a pretty fun game with a lot of things to learn and discover.

It reminds me a lot of "The Forest" and "Don't Starve" with it's setting and some of the wacky monsters and mechanics. I do wish there was a bit more variety in options for the H Scenes, but overall I Definitely recommend.
  19. 5.00 star(s)

    Tofu_Eater

Even though it's EA, to my surprise it's actually pretty good with the amount things you can do. You get stranded on an island, build a base, fight against the natives (and some other survivors), capture them, tame said natives, and then repopulate it with the tamed natives. The 2D H-scenes are well done. Unfortunately the main female NPC's (and some others) cannot become pregnant and only the female natives but hopefully in the future it will be possible.

Edit: Forgot to mention, save often! Your choices in dialogue could affect the outcome(s)!

Absolutely good game, the freedom of choice is amazing

but the main drawback is probably the combat, since it's a 2.5d topview game, there should be an indicator for the direction, not just plain left-right sprite
