Hp doesn't matter, if you want to capture, it's the faint/stun bar.
Use faint weapons on it, and it will take a few hits for sure.
Make the NPC follow you for a while, dance for them (Q and choose one of either first or second dance), give them a love potion...
You're welcome, it works the same for every bench, and NPC that can craft things, like old man/old woman.
If you want, check this guide, it helped me so much when I started the game a few weeks ago.

Can't say the Update did add nothing to the game... but this wasn't anything worthwhile... I mean sure this is pretty much an impossible Raid unless you can seperate the enemies and have your 50 villagers deal with the minions... but this felt rather hollow... and Lady Death?! Really?!

All I can tell you, as I don't remember the numbers by heart, is for werewolf, using an iron mace and no boost to heavy attack (or keigo pendant), I would need about 20-ish heavy attacks to knock it down.
Which was actually fairly easy because his attacks are easy to dodge, if you wait for your turn to attack.
I has like 80 hp too only, so I could take one hit but not two from him if I remember well.
They are level one too. So it's not too bad.
Worst case scenario, put aflag next to him, if you need to respawn, and continue clubing him, it's fine.

first time for the reapers raid: lose against the reapers for first time. Then the new green marking will appear at the bottom left of chaos area. The lost soul will tell you to use your allies to deal with the 2 reapers and defeat the Death by your own.
There are some methods people've found to deal with the 2 reapers which they have more hp than the Death.

What we found since then:
- Chainsaw has been recommanded, and is actually the better weapon to kill death the first time, and maybe still after. That was a great tip.
- Mr Eroge cheats (can't reach that speed naturally, and food buff doesn't affect MC), so it's not really a good method.
At least Death kill is doable, the servants, very much less so.
- Either you need hundreds of units, which feels wierd, or there's another hint we missed to help for the servants part.
There's gotta be a "legit" way, with no exploit and/or cheats to deal with the raid though.
Also, still haven't found why the golden cross has a range when placed, but does nothing noticable during the raids.

Cheats mostly work just fine, could use free crafting, unlimited durability, item browser, NPC browser and all commands. Only thing that didn't seem to work was invincibility, reapers just murdered me.
I'm trying different things and I think the answer might, at least in part, be the Ent Queen. I've just tried her, thinking her healing effect might tie in, and she did surprisingly well. I haven't succeeded yet, but it looks more promising.

There are a few knives, but I think the earliest is in Man Workbench.
HP regenerate on their own, as long as there is food in your villagers' stomachs.
