I made a BepInEx5 mod (Drop in BepInEx/plugins folder) for the game to make it less forgiving for Yona...
So far it does:
  • Tries to make some extra mosaics transparent.
  • Make your villagers more willing to assault you.
  • Make Yona fainting more easy to occur (non-linear).
  • Added some amounts of stun/faint damage on normal unblocked attacks of opponents (mainly).
  • The closest you are to fainting the stronger enemy attacks are (low faint -> strong damage).
  • The closest you are to dying the stronger the fainting chances are (low hp -> easier faint).
  • Chance to drop on your knees immediately (without losing) when receiving a very strong unblocked attack.
  • All NPCs are more sex-hungry.
  • Makes struggling go faster and longer and harder.
  • Makes Yona more prone to get pregnant.
  • Makes sleeping recovery slower.
Please help me test it if you can because I couldn't confirm all of it.
Lemme just check what I can understand...
? | Tries to make some extra mosaics transparent.
>Do require more context on this, I currently don't have None.bat file in my XML folder or using other Decensor mods, not obvious to me on what changed.
? | Make your villagers more willing to assault you.
>So far no one Assaulted Yona as the playing character or as Roaming Companion, unsure.
? | Make Yona fainting more easy to occur (non-linear).
>Unsure on what I am expecting, Yona has not fainted yet

==========The following Test are Done with Lv.42 raids, damage may vary.==========

V | Added some amounts of stun/faint damage on normal unblocked attacks of opponents (mainly).
>Can confirm, it Works, gives -2~-3 faint onto players.
1749484900434.png 1749485301955.png

V
| The closest you are to fainting the stronger enemy attacks are (low faint -> strong damage).
>Can confirm, it Works, From normal 49 damage to 60+ damage
Note : The White Faint Bar does not gets updated, only the number in the stats changed
?
| The closest you are to dying the stronger the fainting chances are (low hp -> easier faint).
>Unsure how to check this one, been at 17~30 HP, if you heal up, your stun or faint will still go down regardless
V | Chance to drop on your knees immediately (without losing) when receiving a very strong unblocked attack.
>Can confirm, it Works, Happens uncommonly.
>However after getting on her knees, she is unable to take damage.
"ALSO soft-locks the Game!"
1749484390114.png 1749484509999.png
V?
| All NPCs are more sex-hungry.
>Did notice some Male NPC gets more horny, however not as noticeable.
V? | Makes struggling go faster and longer and harder.
>It works? but not as what is described, For me it's "Makes Struggling last shorter and instant into Rape Scene."
??
| Makes Yona more prone to get pregnant.
>Well...Imma leave that to people who want to do that.
X | Makes sleeping recovery slower.
>I am recovering +3 Faint per second, with/without the mod installed.

Tips as in? Too much tips for me to list xD I'll give three major ones.
Preventing raids?
Surviving raids?
Luring raids away?

Preventing Raids :
"Chaos Totem" (From the Meat Workbench)
It can adjust the amount of the Raiders that will spawn, however this is a Late-game item and requires you to know Where to get the material for you to Obtain it

"Leaf Dummy Doll" & "Leaf Mascot" (From the Plant Workbench) (Find the blueprint in the Mushroom Forest/Swamp area)
These two items does the same thing, Reduce/Prevent raiders from spawning by 2 or 20
Extremely good for Early game when you don't want Raiders to bother your Base & your friendly NPCs
View attachment 4122283

Surviving Raids :
Honestly...all you need is "Stairs"...no joke
Just click on the Stairs and set the Y to high up and stay there until the Raid runs out...
It's a Cheap win, I know.
Well...you could also make "Stone Bench" to stop Raider's movement on the other side as you use "Bow" or any Weapon to get rid of the raiders on the other side.

Luring raids away :
Get one of your friendly NPC captured
Go and Rescue him/her (or leave them if that fancy you xD Won't judge)
(Tiny tip : put a Teleport red flag near their settlement as you only got 20 minutes to save them)
When you kill the "Guard", loot the "Decoy Charm" off from him
View attachment 4122333
(The rabbit looking animal is "Ruck")
Put the "Decoy Charm" onto Any NPC you don't like or want to become the savior of your base
Carry/Move the NPC to somewhere else and Set his/hers Combat to "Survivor" status
View attachment 4122335
(Note : That blue thingy is the "Chaos Totem" as mention above)
(Nun is one of the possible name in-game for Female Native, not Unique character, the clothing are obtain from the Ruin/Dungeon chest)

Now your NPC will not be knock out, thus He/She will not be taken away by the Raiders and lure the Raid away from your base to a more suitable location for you to fight or farm for Resource/Capture Higher level natives

Extra tip :
Raids are a nice way to Farm for some resources like Iron ingots or Raw Iron ores
Just remember to bring a "Ruck" for easy resource looting...and yes, they're a bit of late game mob, but they're extremely useful as a Mobile Chest/Carrier & can expand your or anyone's inventory slots when you trade captured "Ruck" into "Pocket" from the Trader.
Which slave attack is good for knocking out?

This is indeed worth mentioning. (Old reply post, I know.)
And also a Good reason for me to make yet ANOTHER Base there xD
View attachment 4906125

Originally I was just gonna stop here, but I notice how only the Mud area of the excavation got clay and mandrake
So I made another one, this is the early version, I went ahead and make it bigger instead, covering the entire mud area.
View attachment 4906127 View attachment 4906129

The drops rate is definitely low, but still better than 0+ chance of spawning Mandrake in the Forest
View attachment 4906130 View attachment 4906132
Now I just need more slaves/workers on it so I get a higher rate Mandrake farm
Why do I need so much Mandrake? IDK...honestly. Gonna upgrade EVERY underground Woman I ever Captured I guess?
Over 50+ of them more or less, gonna be a fun time on that one.
(Imagine the Dev adds in an Easter egg ontop of it, making you the player whom dump so much underground woman body into that one well will become cursed and spawns zombies out, that's will be funny xD)
Does the excavate square thing need to be specifically in the mud (it doesn't seem like it in your screen but I may be wrong)? I would like to use your idea but I am not sure where to start

The biome matters, it gives different results in different biomes.

As Flannan said
Terrain does matter where you put down your excavation sites
For example, if the ground has Grass terrain? Dirt and Worms.
1749498559924.png 1749498579495.png
However, if it is on-top of Mud terrain? Clay mainly, Dirt, Sometimes Vines and also Mandrake drop.
1749498687735.png 1749498707019.png

So yes, it does matter, as to where you should start? Idk honestly, I'm not playing by the rules as you can see
With invisible Wall off, you can travel to where ever, with Invisible Wall, you can't go up there normally.
1749498855209.png 1749498913841.png

If you like, here's the location of that base, with majority of the place being Mud terrain.

Didn't you put your excavation site on tope of green terrain on your screen? (I thought it had to be mud only for mandrakes)

Which slave attack is good for knocking out?
The NPCs with the best "Faint Damage"...
The best answer has been said, Corrupted Lizard and here's why...
Note: The following images, the numbers has been effected by "Meal Effectiveness", adding +200 faint damage to their original faint damage
1749503599348.png 1749503624248.png

Corrupted Lizard
They do "Range" Faint Damage that scales with their Strength Stats
1749503678815.png
Lv.0 does 28 faint damage compare to Lv.116 does 51 faint damage (you got to -200 here due to the meal effectiveness buff)
1749503774557.png 1749503841915.png

Pros :
1. Their faint damage scales with their strength level
2. They themselves are the Weapon, no need to give them other weapons

Cons :
1. They're Mid-End game animal to find
2. "Ranged" NPCs Suffers from missing their hits often, requires someone to stop the Enemy's movement
3. Any tamed animals starts from Lv.0, raising them up is REALLY tough
How tough? the Lv.116 Corrupted Lizard you see Ate 1521 Ancient Fruits & 482 Golden Eggs
