Your inventory was probably full. When you try to pick something up and your inventory is full, it'll drop to the ground as a bag. Just free up some space in your inventory and you'll be able to pick that bag up. Make some chests if you need to put extra stuff in--those can be handy. Having a bunch of them in your base is usually a good idea to store stuff.
You probably didn't click fast enough. Watch the white bar under her red HP bar. That's your target's stun points. You need that white bar to disappear before the blue circle empties.

I think i know the exact steam review that you're referring to, the steam review was talking about how *Rimworld* had mods that added degenerate content assuming you know where to find them off of steam (which is very easy) and it is one of the closer thing you can get to filling this "niche" as he called it.I was reading a steam review that said "Assuming you know where to go to track down all the mods that aren't allowed on Steam Workshop" I'm a mod lover of any game I find interesting, I'm not asking for a link, and if its one of those /if you know you know/ things could you dm it to me? Hold "Q" in front of the NPC and choose one of the four options (0 to dance by default). Performing an action will increase your NPC affection over time.
To expand on Facha1234's answer, keep an eye on the types of personalities they like. For instance, if they like "Mean" then using option 3 (threaten) will get you better results.
One of the easiest ways to rape her in her sleep as it'll send her into shock and you can just put her in your inventory. Also make sure it's the Rape option and not the Rape Secretly option unless you don't want to capture her.
