... since I don't know how much of the game you've experienced
I believe I've seen pretty much everything once, at least (minus some last patches, maybe)
Although I never really bothered reading much and just saved on choices to redo later to see some differences and such (not to read differences, mind you)
Mostly just focused on just sandbox-building, farming, raids, feeling disgusted by my own creation and redoing it all, over and over again. (Personally haven't really put much thought into the special characters...)
The whole breeding aspect and attempting to manage it all, while
trying to build something useful
and good looking (also defensible by npcs and such) was a hassle... I loved it and hated it... (specifically my most hated part is probably the defense walls. While straight ones woulda been much much much neater but eh...)
Although I don't think I actually ever tamed some beasts, probably...
Overall things I'd have loved some cleaner explanation for still would just be stuff like the storages (not chests) which "expand" the inventory of nearby crafting benches, or rather allow the usage for those benches with whats in it's own inventory.
Additionally, some slight info on taming or clearer use for intended structures. (Attempting to tame something in the wrong building while the building does/did display them inside... kinda deal)
Sure, nothing of that really is difficult and all, but doesn't really add to the discovery "feeling" of things.
Just what I believe atleast things to be explained a bit more (even if just a building description, for example)
But yeah, after a while I did try figuring out some "more in-depth details" of the game - although there is still things for me to actually explore, like with the beasts which I read about later. (But somehow never end up going for in any playthrough up until now...)
But yea, essentially, I play Mad Island mostly just like kenshi with the recruitment mod. Get a ton of useless guys, use them for work and train them up, ending in a fullfledged city.

H-Content? Story? Haven't put much worth into it (not saying it isn't worth it, just didn't bother all that much with it - so long as gameplay can be neat)
