RPGM - Completed - Magical Girl Celesphonia [v1.07] [Shimobashira Workshop/Kagura Games]

These RPG Maker games are usually really hit or miss for me and this one was definitely a hit. I liked the progression in the game and while you don't have to, the grinding is really easy to do. The issues I had with the game were one, that there wasn't enough really different outfits for the protagonist, a lot of them were the same but just slightly different (there are 4 versions of the main uniform just slightly different for example). Two the scenes are not animated, this one is more of a personal thing I think. Other than that the game is really solid and I enjoyed the time I spent on it.

Others have already said what it is so I won't repeat it all. I agree that it's a great immersive corruption game where you feel the impact of every lewd attack. It lasts and has reply value. I recommend purchasing this game.

Last words: Get the mod for even more of a challenge and more cursed corruption

One of my favorite RPGs ever.

Pursuit of H-Scenes/Lust mechanic: Easily this game's biggest strength. Finding scenes (which are plentiful) and seeing the degredation of the MC and those around her is what gives this game its popularity. Most scenes start as rape, but as you level up the Lust mechanic, the MC starts going out on her own. Not original, but definitely the best execution of corruption that I have scene. I'd explain more but playing the game is the best way to understand how well it's done.

Gameplay: Standard RPG battling but doesn't feel boring. Skill progression is quick and you choose what to build with decent amount of options. There are no annoying side quests, but hunting for some of the dropped items was annoying (fixed by using Drop rate+ item which I forgot about). Maps are not annoying to traverse through and have teleports/refresh. Some grinding neccesary to unlock strongest equipment, but thats only neccesary for extra content. My first run was a virgin run till the extra ending + hidden final boss and still had fun all the way through. There is a day/night mechanic which is only really for H-Scenes.

H-Scenes: From an unbiased perspective, this game's biggest weakness, but still great. The scenes are static and a few are copy pasted with different backgrounds. However, the art in it of itself is not low quality and along with the context, is quite good overall. Theres quantity and variety, mostly focused on human, with a little bit of tentacle and monster.

TLR: One of the best RPG's ever made and a top-notch corruption mechanic. H-Scenes are a bit dissapointing due to being static but still brings decent quantity and quality. If you liked Treasure Hunter Claire or Brave Alchemist Colette, this game is shorter but with more enjoyable gameplay.

In short, a brutal version of Sailor moon.

Dirty and disgusting as far as it can be said about the H game.The sex scenes turned out to be quite disgusting and repulsive, so much so that
I did not want to view them all.Atmosphere what worked in ambrosia doesn't work at all here.Every time it looks like girl become a victim of some sadists.And inner you don't want to let her through this..And this is at least minus most of the fun of the H game.

Amane is not as charismatic as Flode,she feels off like more empty.
The map has become more incomprehensible and confusing,
as well as the 95% locations themselves are a solid dull gray urbanism - in which not fun to lost every time.

One of the new fun advantages is the ability to oneshot enemies from behind.
And not bad ost.

Compared to the magnificent Ambrosia, it is 2 steps back or even 3.
If the first game leaves pleasant warm memories and melancholy for the end of the long great adventure.
Ending here - only brings up closer to end this horror as quickly as possible and never to remember this again.

Not only is this game tremendously better than I thought it would be, but it's also kinda long! Many sex scenes which I havent come close to finding them all, fun combat that isnt really grindy, cool events and what ifs, and a soundtrack that shouldnt be as good as it is.

While I will rate it 5/5, I do wish there was a bit more variety in the voice effects during scenes, and a bit more than still images. Even so, there are a great many scenes.

Almost forgot to mention, but this game actually can be played with only one hand (the mouse can control everything)

One of the better games published by Kagura Games, it's your standard RPG game with good QOL features. Mechanic wise, it's standard, just level up your character and progress through the different enemies. Of course this is connected to the scenes you can see as well, lose to each unique enemy and get a different H scene.

This brings me to the seggs itself, you visit a unique area of the map that'll give you special NPCs or places to get to your scenes. Artwork looks nice, although somewhat varied by the end of your gameplay you'll realize a lot of the same poses and positions are used and it may get a bit repetitive. Overall pretty good.

This game is kinda the best sex game I've ever played.
This game got good story, good scenes, choices totally up to us.
There are plenty of levels and plenty of choices.
There are also side quests that can help lv up the character
The boss fights are also well made.

Best hentai game i ever played. I love the magical girl setting and the various corruption mechanics. The rpg system is also a lot more intricate then in most other porn games if they have one.

I have played the game for over 20 hours in 3 days. Looking forward to replay it in a pure gameplay (without getting into the lewd elements) in the future.

I have to say that out of all the games Shimobashira created, this is my favorite one.

Things that I like about this game.

• Amane's school outfits are hot. (Especially the Modified Uniform.)
• I love the variety of outfits in this game. This game has even more outfits than Ambrosia.
• The sex scenes are very good.
• The art style of this game is amazing.
• I love Amane's character design.
• Losing a battle doesn't immediately give you a gameover, and I like that.
• The story is pretty good.
• I love that Amane can backstab weak enemies. It saves time and is also fun to do.

Things I didn't like about the game.

• Kinda sucks that I can only choose to remove the character's lingerie. I would have loved it if I could also remove certain parts of Amane's clothes, like her shirt or skirt.
  
  
• I don't know if this is because of my laptop, but some areas in the game are very laggy, so it makes backstabbing enemies and avoiding obstacles very frustrating.

In my opinion, you should definitely buy this game if you have the money because the developer of this game did an amazing job creating it, and they deserve it.

Turnbased combat RPG Game, with mid battlefuck, H-events.
The game is from the same developer that made Ambrosia. It has the corruption system that includes H-counter, virgin status, corruption level.
About the battlefuck mechanic, There is a clothing damage, the enemy can damage your clothes, and enemies can do H-Attack!
You can also change the protagonist outfits. It will change the protagonist's appearance in the CGs.
There is a good amount of CGs, not including the ones that reused.

The score is 4.5/5 but this game offers so much that I don't think it would be fair to rank it lower. I waited until I got all the scenes before I made my final call.

Pros:

• Officially translated
• An incredibly long game
• Many ways of customization in terms of battling
• Battle fuck
• H scenes are not limited to just game over
• Many different types of kinks
• Game lets you see all scenes after you beat the game
• There is a post game with continued h scenes
• Great artstyle
• The outfits are hot
• A slow burn corruption system
• Good story for what it's aiming for

Cons:

• It might be just me but the game has a lot of lag to the point that it felt like it was impossible to avoid obstacles and solve puzzles because of how bad the lag was. Don’t know if it’s because of my computer or the game is just slow in general.
• Personally, I was upset with how little hypnosis there was in this game. The whole school is put under a huge hypnosis ring, but dealing with the headmaster is only a sidequest. You can get rid of the candles and not deal with this boss. I thought I would get a unique ending if I left him alive while going after all the main targets. I’m extremely disappointed with how the game treats it as if I dealt with him. What I would have done was have a hypno ending showing Amane becoming his slave while still living a normal life and getting rid of the other enemies.
• There is another hypnosis event in the city. It’s just there. You can read the journal from the guy who is surprised that he can make a cult, but nothing comes of it even when you advance the progression. Again, it ties to how there are only so few endings.
• There are only like six endings and they’re only based on if you messed up or not. You have two bad endings (one where Celesphonia gets corrupted and one where you let the corruption reach 100 for the city), you have the normal ending and then have two extra endings depending on if you completed the gym teacher’s h-scenes and if you reached LV 3 of lust. The 6th ending is the most punishing because if you decide to give birth, the game ends.
• The fact that the gym teacher even has an ending. The scenes aren’t even hot. It’s gross given the context (the guy was in love with Amane’s mom and lost his chance so he’s now just transferring his love to her daughter and as a middle finger to her father). Like, why can’t we have a unique ending if you finish the beach event? Why not the other school events or the city events? It rubs me the wrong way how this is the only h-scene list that gave it a unique ending that overrides the good ending.
• Can’t change outfits unless farther down the corruption hole. It sucks given how there are a lot of sexy outfits
• Post game doesn’t take advantage of Amane’s friend being a magical girl to help battle you

Rare game nowadays. Excellent.

Story: 10/10 - long, full, awesome, interesting.
HScenes: 9/10 - no animations, but awesome
Kink: 10/10 - everything.
Gameplay: 9/10 - a lot of things to do, interesting battles, awesome.
Fun: 10/10 - enjoyed the game A LOT, yes.

Just don't read reviews and play.

This game is great. It has a proper story, tons of lewd scenes, combat that isn't too tedious and sometimes requires you to use your brain, a decent amount of costumes and good fetishes. It took me about 17.5 hours to clear it. Would've easily gotten 5 stars from me if you could play around with the layers of clothing a bit more.

It's a great game. It's for the most part challenging and has slowburn development of driving the character into debauchery.
Even if you try to keep the virginity as long as possible the game will provide good scenes.
It's far from perfect as it lacks some polish and balancing in various departments, but it does a lot of things way better than most hentai games.

Another great game. This was had similiar themes to Ambrosia but it was center around superheros I guess. Had a good fighting mechanic as well and was fun to play the game normally. Still a great game as it had lots of story, things to do, and scenes of course!

This game is very good but the thing that stopped me giving this *5 is
1. there is no hints in recollection room so its pretty hard to see all of those collection because the world in this game is very big for H-Games so you need time and effort to try things one by one i hope the dev give a hint at recollection room like what they done it in engram room.

2. same like above i hope they give a hint too at how to unlock those many sex titles, i know there's user in here giving the full guide but its much easier if the dev giving the hints in the game

3. I encounter small bug (i think) that when the character talk too long the text in the text box just goes through the text box so many of the word got cut and i can't read it

A lot of time and effort went into this game. It really shows it.

There's just a ton of stuff in it. Tons of scenes. Tons of exploration. Tons of items, costumes, etc. It would be hard to just specify one good point of this game because it would make it look like I'm overshadowing the rest. You SHOULD give this game a try. It has a ton of content and a pretty decent story.

Now you could go off and say something about the RPGM combat but I didn't feel it being so much of a chore in this game. Something with the sneaking up behind weak enemies for an instant kill and/or the restraining stuff just makes it a lot less boring. Even if you don't like it, they offer ways to mitigate it through gear that provides instant wins. There is sometimes a small grind however, but I didn't find it to be too much trouble compared to some other games.

I wouldn't say this game breaks any new ideas but it takes very traditional ideas and does them very well. Anyways, 5/5 stars.

As far as this kind of RPGMaker turn based adventure goes, this is pretty much near the pinnacle. The great secret is flexible and adjustable difficulty which offers whatever experience you want either stomping or getting wrecked (defeat scenes are always better when you reach them naturally)

Still can't give full marks because somewhere in Chapter 6 it crashed and lost me 30 minutes of progress, and I was done at that point.

would be a 5 if there was more story and the scenes/paths had more depth, unfortunately they're mostly just same CG different text based on corruption but there is a decent amount of them

the games systems, combat, hints, etc are all well above average at least
