Had the same problem at first, but running it with Japanese locale via Locale Emulator solved it. Guessing the issue can also be solved by changing the locale in Windows to Japanese.

Then there are those that only care how a painted cell, or a grouping of pixels, looks. Since the age of the paint, or date the data was created is irrelevant. ie, she would only be a couple of years old, both for the anime and game. Meanwhile Mona Lisa is hundreds of years old....

After all, I've seen the same character design last from 7th grade to post HS graduation. Fictional ages mean nothing.
