All we need are the proper menu and settings modifications to make this more user-friendly. The base viewer should have had a non-full-screen mode. It's crazy that they didn't include a skip (fast forward) text option. I'm pretty sure the online version of the game had that function.

What is so special about it though?

Not some over the top special thing. But the patch does say that it fixed some problems like audio not working or dialogue skipping, issues preventing access to certain stories, and they added some items to the game.

I suggest you to find Locale Remulator on github, download it and put the folder somewhere to keep it for forever, then install it and use it by clicking on Magikami.exe with a right mouse button and choosing in the menu Locale remulator x64 -> Run in Japanese. Changing region on PC on your own could not work.

Something peculiar with stuff from Nanikun is if you apply those files.
You can also find the new events by filtering Iori in the gallery for some reason despite not being iori related, so it's a bit glitched.
