game is bugged as fuck, there's a reference to a bathroom scene during the party later in the night which I didn't see, I didn't have the option to see it either.

Who cares about Mia past? you know a dev is stalling for time when he goes back in time to avoid developing the characters' stories

Knowing about Mia's past isn't inherently a bad thing. But stanlock implemented it in a very ham fisted way. Mia's past should either be a false start narrative so that we kind of get a speedrun preview of what the game will be about before starting again with Emma and moving into the narrative proper. Or been spread out through conversations with short scenes in the past to accompany it. Making it a dream sequence, and implementing choices like they matter, is not great story telling technique.

Didn't this dev reworked the game two times already?
Not to my knowledge. They started another game, DeepDown, that they abandoned after two updates without word. Released this one almost two years later, without acknowledging DeepDown, and has had three updates with a release every other 40ish days or so. If it's been reworked at any point it was before it was released to F95.
