The VN tells the story of a married couple who are faced with the problem of infertility due to their husband's fault. The wife rejects the options of adoption and IVF for fundamental reasons, believing that a real mother should carry and give birth to a child herself. The solution is to use a sperm donor, in whose role the husband offers his close friend.
The idea is interesting, but its execution leaves much to be desired. The plot is perceived as sketchy and unsolved. There is a lack of depth in the dialogues and additional scenes that would convincingly show the strength of the friendship between her husband and Dylan, as well as the warmth in the relationship between the spouses. Without this study, key emotional turns and finales do not achieve their intended impact.
The game features three main endings: the cuckold scenario, adoption and divorce.
The ending with the adoption looks weak and contradictory, as it completely ignores the original principled position of the heroine, which served as the beginning of the whole story. The other two endings are logical within the genre.
I have a strong impression that the original text was translated by machine without subsequent literary editing. Of course, this is not a crime, but it would be possible to carry out edits before the release of the game.
The visual component:
The CG art is of varying quality, but it's generally average. The female character is well drawn, while the male models look noticeably weaker. Sex scenes are static and accompanied by detailed text descriptions, which is the norm for the genre. The images of sex aren't diverse (there are only a few poses), however, most of them don't look bad.
The soundtrack:
The most annoying aspect is the single background track, a melancholic piano melody. It sounds unchanged throughout the game, imposing one mood and not matching the tonal changes of the scenes. This makes you want to turn off the sound quickly, although the melody itself is not bad.
Result:
Another ordinary visual novel in the NTR genre, which stands out in nothing but a slightly more mundane and "everyday" setting (there are no deliberately shocking elements like the BBC or the ugly old man). There are no frankly terrible elements in it, but there is practically nothing to praise it for. It may be of interest only to the most dedicated fans of the genre who are looking for something simple and without frills. The rest can safely pass by.
