Whelp semi clear the mines of things. I didn't close the portal cause I believe atm that's the only place imps spawn and they will stop spawning if you close it. I went grave robbing and found one of the stones in the ice graveyard.

Anyone know if the time switch is here or nah? Also progression in the human girl inn story or whatever we calling it. Elf had a walk in the park and a noble or something. Gnome got jump during inn sleep (which you can get softlock if you just press sleep now) Dwarf had a item in a shop and I don't remember Sylph but I prolly did it anyways.

Lastly is it worth doing anything in Free mode? ATM feels buggy and can't even sleep in the inn without crashing. Temple quest is more or less bug and no real progress can be made

What class is the best for healer/support/buffs?
Nice part about this game is that you don't really need one.
If I remember correctly, I think Priest is most healer-oriented, while Bishop is more offensive spellcaster focused.
But Valkyrie has a bunch of healing spells too, and even the MC.

Are you playing v3.04?
Temple of Polaris quest is fine, but a bit different from previous versions.

One step I easily missed when I did it was that I need to speak to the Princess after accepting the quest before I go in the temple, otherwise the final confrontation won't play.

Then Max doesn't return to the party immediately after you finish the temple quest. You need to pick up the other quest from Seaside Town about rescuing the girls and then go to the dungeon in NE side of harpy canyon map.

I think thats likely going to change with the full game, or I hope so. There have been only few times where I really needed those heals after combat to make it out without deaths back to town mid dungeon run. And currently death isnt actually that big of a deal when you can resurrect on church for some gold and there is plenty of it. At the very least spamming Inn for heals between dungeon runs or returning for a quick sleep if things go south is likely going to be much more punishing in the full game, so possibly you might want heal spells just so that you can fight more battles before you are forced to sleep at Inn again. Debuffs have had their big uses in fights with plenty of enemies, specially ones with grabble and in the new demo dungeon there are already monsters that can grabble 2 different girls. Which means you really want to sleep/freeze or use other debuff to prevent those. Otherwise things can quickly escalate when you have 2 girls unable to act and the remaining 4 cant kill enemies fast enough to stop the grabbles.

Regardless I will still run a priest in my party just for flavor.

And been thinking of just what kind of party I want to really play in the final game since release might finally be here soon enough. But I imagine there will be a lots of swapping around in the final game. Men forcing themselves into the party (not just Max) and being forced to drop/give away some specific girl for a while. Game even already has more girls than you can run in the party too. You definitely cant just run same party from start to end. Still the dream team has been Lord/Spellblade/thief/Summoner/Priest/Sorcerer, but blacksmith can be really useful too and might be a better choice over spellblade. I never used Bard in the demo so considering that a lot too just for that.

That sounds like story mode and not free mode but I'll try anyways

I think incentive against overuse of inn is going to come in the form of not NTR. At some point you won't be able to keep the mechanic in check and will have to accept forced pairings.

To be honest, I have so much food bloating my inventory, never felt the need for a dedicated healer. Especially if you beat Alex and get the priest mercenary.

Some ppl know Japanese, but most of us use mtool
How good is it to translate with mtool?
I guess it's kinda gibberish, but I played Leane 2 like that before it was translated more accurately, so I wouldn't mind.
I wondered about how much text would not get translated, like is there still some japanese the tool can't detect ?

I have my fingers crossed that from ULMF goes active again when the full version releases.

It would be a huge shame to wait months for the translation. But I do understand I'm not making contributions and that beggars can't be choosers.

My other concern is that I reckon there will be a large amount of bugs on release that the dev will need to patch out. I wonder if the translator/s will wait for that to be sorted before giving it a go. This is assuming that the devs patches or added content messes with the potential translation.

Was Xebit sorta a niche talent? As in, is it hard and takes rare skill and knowledge to translate games on this engine?

I used a combination of Mtool + Google Translate mobile app's camera feature.
Unfortunately some of the item descriptions are not translated, so you'll need to scan the text with camera to figure out what they do.

For me janky translation is a core aspect of the Asian gameplay experience so I'm kinda used to it enough that it won't bother me, but if you're the type of person that needs good artistic writing to get trully immersed, the quality of the translation might be a bit lackluster.

Not as far as I'm aware, but I do know that it's a big undertaking.

The reason I hope he goes active again is that I'm not aware of any other parties at the moment who will undertake the translation.

It would be a pity if someone only started work on the full game's translation months after the initial release. I would rather wait for a fully translated version than try my luck with the raw Japanese or the Mtool janky translation since this is a rather special game.

In fact I loved the v2 demo so much that I had to stop playing it around the 3-5 hour mark since I know if I carried on, I'd have played it so much that I'd have sucked some of the fun out of the full game.

How much content does the demo 3.04 have now? Is it like 70% of the full game?
I can tell you several parts of a area missing.
-There's a underwater section
-A grand canyon area
-Whatever bottom right of town
-Right side of the beach town
-Still have no clue on finish the human side quest with her little brother
-All of the other girls in scenes (past a certain point)
-Supposedly two party members for your girls to get ntr (a knight and a blue hair adventurer)
-some items are can not be id
-f*cking hot spring area
-main town top left some rocks blocking the way
-there's like what 12 gems to collect and I have 3 of them
-still haven't found that time switch item for that one dungeon
-pass for the museum
-the exp cave will be replaced
-still don't know where that button from the hidden part of the sewer did
-whatever the opposite side of the canyon path leads to
-more rival fights I assume
-many sex scenes you can find on their website is not in the game (although it could be cut content)

You can get it from going through the forest area where the temple dungeon is, you jump over the rocks with scroll/spell and then explore there. To get out you have to use jump again at one portion of the forest to get over invisible teleport pad. There is also a hidden spell store there which can be opened with the key you get after orc quest. She sells warp spell right now.

But I imagine this place will see some changes in the release version, specially that merchant and her items since warp would be kind of op spell that early. The chest there with its items will likely be spread around the world in the final version too and only exists to hint at stuff the final game will have (stone tablets that you place in 4 specific places according to the information in the scroll, only one of those places is available in the game right now.
