After release one still might need to wait couple of days for hasty translation of somekind. But whats a day or two after so many years. I kind of hope its released during the week while I am at work and then be playble by weekend. So I can distract myself with work until then instead of having to fiddle around with my freetime.
Please no hasty translation, i want a nice and flowy reading. That god Xebit takes his time doing it.

I for one would like 2 steps in the translation...the first is the menu, skills , hud and weapon-armor stuff. The story could be done in step 2..it would take faar longer... But the game would be playable for most...

Not to be super pedantic, and I know people are mostly kidding, but the wording used (中旬) usually refers to the middle 10 or so days of a month. Not the exact middle of the month.

So more like somewhere between the 11th and the 20th.

quick question to pass the time, why nobody ever tried to make a game like leanne 2?
it's basicaly a VN, with a little bit of strategy gameplay, not really THAT complex of a project.
so why not?

Help, I have an error, when I play story mode and complete the tutorial, after completing the first 2 missions (The one to deliver the flowers to the grave and the one in the temple) the elf from the beginning does not appear (Because it tells me that the mission he went on is not complete)

i should have been more accurate in my post, thanks for the detailed reply.
i meant, a game the same scope as leanne, built as a passion project not as a "official" game made by a studio that require paying people or vast amount of assets. any company will naturally have to weight the cost of something against the potential payout which limits options. but for a dev that do it in it's own time, producing it's own assets and code at his own pace with no monetary or time pressure, i'm surprised nobody on f95 took a crack at it.

and yes i'm aware of other saga such as sengoku rance, but it doesn't have the same feels as leanne1/2 and aimed at a broader audience i think.

i'm not saying it's easy, of course not, but with the amount of game posted each month, i'm just surprised nobody tried to replicate and adapt it, building upon Leanne and making something new.

especially now with AI gen for assets and AI assistants for scripting, i'd figure it would be easier now to make something like this than to create it from scratch like makura did, especially on a visual novel game engine. if there was a game i would try to make, that'll probably be a leanne type of game, that actually mix gameplay with story and a good NTR system that actually complement the gameplay, not goes against it.

what part would be the hardest to recreate do you think?

Even "easy" to make games like a VN using RenPy get abandoned all the time... what makes you think something substantially harder to make will be very enticing to develop?

passion project. so i'd say passion.
you'd make a game you'd want to play, not a half assed story you enjoy like most of those "easy" VN.
i'm a firm believer that for a game to be a game, then gameplay is required. kinetics novel to me are just stories i have to click through. if you're just a porn enjoyer and not a story writter, then yup, i guess it's easy to burn out writting stories that will get torn appart in the forums thread for how shitty either the assets are, or the writing, or the logic/story or the characters.

if gameplay is good, then i think people are more lenient when it comes to the rest.
we are having this discussion in the thread of a game that has a 1999 dungeon crawler mixed with might and magic for blood and honor inventory and class system and art aesthetic(world design, not characters obviously). the character are randoms but the same and the sex scene are not exactly peak.

but the gameplay makes it good, as the porn is a product of gameplay.
if it was a linear story cut by gameplay that doesn't bring anything to the game beside wasting time, i wouldn't wait patiently in this thread for Makura-sama to drop me a bone to sate my hunger like a good dog. Woof!

There are still more quests, in the other town that you passed through in the tutorial. It's the one where the two girls bought swim suits. Once you complete the main mission there, max and maria return and the demo turns into free play mode.

From the main city, leave through the southwest exit and backtrack until you reach the town. The quests are available in the bar there. The main quest is the one with the biggest reward.
