I Think people are playing it with Mtool i'm pretty sure there's no official or fan translation right now
Been waiting on this one for a long while, and this talk of completely unavoidable bait and switch stuff is really taking the wind of my sails (by which I mean my dick).

Not stupid, I was there as well. Turns out the dev increased the complexity of how to raise the affection with the girls.
If you check their stats at the inn you can see a number at the top right of their profile. In the example below you can see its a 54.

According to google lens, that translates to "Reliability". The higher this number, the more you can do with her at the inn. I already hit a "wall" in progressing the story of my gnome, so I'm guessing there has to be yet another milestone we need to reach to continue their story.
EDIT - I forgot to add... yes, you need to feed them at the tavern to increase this number; they all have preferred dishes, listed below

Gnome - Mussel pasta - Seagull town
Sylph - Mont Blanc - Northrop town
Dwarf - Roast Beef - Sapphire City

Some people wanted a partial translation patch, so here you go.
Please support the developer by buying the game. This isn't a low-effort production.
The patch covers UI stuff and all the text that was available in the demo (a superset of the text that was accessible in the demo). That seems to be pretty much everything other than the reams of text in new explorable maps and scenes.
In true Makura Cover Soft style, it's only had a minimum of testing, since I'm not far in the game yet. Use at your own risk!

Saves from this patch should be compatible with current/future Japanese versions and allow swapping between them. Taking backups is advised though.
In theory it can be applied over future JP versions, but the result will be a hybrid of core functionality from the translation patch base version, and anything from the base game that it doesn't touch. So any bugs in the core game are unlikely to be fixed, but new map and scene issues hopefully will.

Went and decided to buy the game since I now have funds for it and was deciding on a new run with my current knowledge, messing with bonus points for the MC and... Yep... THIS is a winner in my book.
