RPGM - Manila Shaw: Blackmail's Obsession [v0.40 BGC] [Abaddon]

I think if I had reviewed this game several months ago, I would have given it 1 or 2 stars, but the story is coming along nicely and there are a lot of things to like about this game.

First of all, Manila is a bad ass and she can opt out of most of the situations. There are few drug induced moments where she has no idea what is happening, but for the most part she can control her own destiny. Also, the animation and pace has started to balance itself out and there are several enjoyable scenes.

On the downside, and this has been said before, it is just way too repetitive in spots. The shower scene in the mornings, the speed of the transitions, the police station routines. There is also no way to replay the scenes.

I am looking forward to future updates.

In a world (made by Abaddon) where everyone is searching for the ultimate individual in human kind Manila stands tall and shouts "Here i'm..Worship me.." One of my favorite gaming characters Manila has it all big tight boobs big tight ass and in general a body to die for not to mention the beautiful face and the expresions that she makes , simply gorgeous..

Pros: 1) The character of Manila and all the above..
2) The lack of other female charaters and that means more content with Manila only..In a world full of meat sticks Manila will catch them all..
3) The story is very good and the kind superhero elements here and there are good too..
4) The pregnacy mode that the creator planning to implement in the game is intriguing to say the least..

Cons: 1) The early animations of the game..Indeed the creator did a great job with the latest anim but the early game is lost forever (or Abaddon will surprice one more time and remake them too )
2) The mistakes in the dialog..Is only logical when English is not your native language but is distracting non the less..

Thats all..The game is awesome and Manila fucking HOT HOT HOT

PROS:

- Lot of hot/lewd situations and full sex scenes already included
- Animations are done well and fluid enough to up the fap appeal
- Backround cop story setting is unique
- Character Models look good
- English translation isn't hard to follow

CONS:

- The sex dialog and cum sound effects are cringe'y as all hell
- The daily repetitive task grind steps in *both* waking up every morning and once you get to work

SUMMARY:

Game feels and plays out pretty much exactly like your typical corruption game such Anna's Affection or Elena's Life for the most part, although I ultimately enjoyed those 2 more then this one. Pacing was faster on this one though, which is obviously a subjective like or dislike.

While I'm not against playing the RPGM format in general (obviously) , mainly due to my preference that games have decent animations on the sex scenes (which RPGM games generally do well on), I'll also note that my overall interest lost a lot of steam after hitting the first couple of them. Which granted in my own case is actually pretty typical with these games. Lot easier for me to overlook the clunky/tedious RPGM play in the name of having those decent animations on the corruption build up then it is once I pass the..."breaking point" so to speak, and then hit the point of just essentially grinding to the next sex scene.

Lastly...I get it. This game is leaning hard on appealing to the whole pregnancy fetish. But jesus freaking christ. You don't need a million and non-stop barrage of different before/during/after dialog references and thoughts to how a somebody wants to fill her womb with cum. And the "SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH" sound effect....too much and too heavy handed there.

Overall it's an average been-there-done-that game, and probably worth the play for a fap or 2.

the only thing that would correct of this game are the animations (they have to improve)

For someone that generally doesn't like RPGM games; this wasn't too bad, actually it was pretty good. It's not very grindy (so far) and the story is progressing very naturally as you do the all quests. Quests are nice and simple, but you can make your own decisions depending on the route you take in the game. Corruption is the obvious route for most people, and I'm not really sure what benefits there are to playing the "good-cop" route yet. I'm not even sure if we can even call it a route, because it seems to be structured in that way where you can make different decisions (good or bad) in different situations. This is also what I prefer personally, because usually routes become more "locked down" once you have made a certain amount of decisions in one direction.

The animations are a bit static and clunky but hey they get the job done, and I feel like that aspect can be improved on later on. The biggest "annoyance" for me would be the quest updates, because they happen so frequent I found myself always going into the quest log to see my next objective/tasks. Of course with many of them you could guess what you needed to do next, but at the same time it could be solved by "simply" showing on the screen what your next objective is. Like a on-screen box that disappears after a while, similar to what you saw with the "hints" that were triggered sometimes. Overall a good game thus far, and I'm looking forward to the future updates (v0.09).

A role-playing game must have a good adventure to become a good game, even a porn game. A thrilling plot in an adventure must include that the protagonist experience crises. So I find that I always look for porn games that are starred by women, because women who play the leading role in porn games always experience crises. And a smart, talented author will make the female protagonist have a choice in the event. After I played so many porn games with female protagonists, I found that if you think that the heroine in the game is wise, it must be the author of the game is also wise.

I review the demo, and I must admit it's very good for a start. It have more contents than some games which are labelled finished. The game as now is very polish, the main character is very gorgeous, and seeing a police officer being blackmailed is not usual. At least you don't have the impression to play the same game with another skin.

Branching storyline is one of the highlights of the game., Animations have improved when compared to the older versions but still needs work. The render pics look lovely. The lighting is fantastic.

This game have a really good history and i think this Project can go far its already in a good version for download and try the variables routes u have to play for me the only problem is the animation of the scenes i think can get better but the game is really good. Its not a problem but im not a fan of RPGM but this is really good

It is a very exciting game. This is the main reason, why I rated "excellent". I hope, we can watch and play the story of Manila, she can choose the bad and the good way, can be polite woman or nasty whore of everybody. Or earn money and position in the police or in the hostile "underground" world. I hope, the developer will decrease the time for the same activity, like showering, or ride by the car, it takes too long time.

good story and gameplay i like how i can actually fight back or take it. like i avoid most of the sex i'm sure but at the same time it's great that i can not let her be assulted if i don't want to too many games make that a non- choice

I will keep it short: after one hour of playing this game i gave up, every single text window/animation/fade in/fade out/etc. is just too slow to bear.

As an example: every in game morning i was forced to take a shower... manually... with 20 seconds of boring animation... Another example is a basic work day in the game: go to office>sign attendance at entrance>work on pc>print it>go to your boss, every single action painfully slow (during shower animation i just minimized game and browsed this forum).
This shit takes ages.

Oh, i will also mention that these experiences are after applying 2x speedhack.

Graphics are pretty good, they are 3D after all, none of that 2D trash.

As for story, what story do you need? Does it need to be realistic? No. After all, we are having more and more games that have unrealistic stories, so why bash this game for a lack of a convincing story?

As for how the sex happens, yeah, it is sort of weird how the protagonist doesn't fight back during scenes, but I guess this could be explained part of the story (how she is needy) and the corruption stat so I'll give it a pass.

Overall its a pretty decent looking game, can't wait for the next updates.

The feel of an old-school RPG mixed with adult content, and I love it! Non-linear side quests add replay value to the game. Very HOT 3D renders of females in several different compromising situations. U get to see the protagonist take showers every morning. Her ass is amazing! Can't wait for more updates to expand the game length/story line.

Although the renderings of Manila Shaw are good, unfortunately the developer's lack of knowledge in making positions with anal / vaginal penetrations leaves much to be desired. The narrative to justify the sex scenes of the game are childish compared to other games, as well as their options of dialogue selection during the missions, not to mention the unnecessary repetitions of actions such as changing clothes, bath and tv. And even after some updates, the game remains the same without adding anything to the story.

If I could I would give zero stars for this game.

It's definitely a work-in-progress, but I think it's the hottest corruption story I have read. I think the art is great and makes up for the clunky mechanics. The author is continually updating it and is very open to feedback on his patreon page. I went ahead and decided to pledge him to support his efforts, you can't get much better feedback than right...

Checking the ratings of this game, i feel i have to add my voice.

Model : Good (feels like she's going to explode, though, ass and tits are a bit over inflated)

Mechanism : you're facing the worst one can expect out of RPGMaker MV, enjoy

Story : What story ? It could hold in a single line and it wouldn't be a summary.

Dialogs : painful to read, copy past of previous games with terrible dialogs and story.

SPOILER - I expected better after the first release, i played the 0.04 version and even sex scenes are dumb, like a murderer, overpowering a single hot female officer in a deserted warehouse, he rips her uniform and ... jerks on her face ... really ?

And i'm not even talking about the repeatable and non skippable mornings and evenings.
Shower + dressing in the morning, dress back to underwear, watch tv to skip time and dress again for special events, then come back and dress back to underwear to sleep in the evenings ...
