They stated that the game is meant for a gamepad/controller to be used, but they did also say keyboard and mouse are suppoerted, which from my experience is a stretch. Sure you can move your character, but can you?
Due to it being made for a joystick, a keyboard button is the eqivalent of the lightest touch, meaning you don't get momentum to even get up the ramp in the beginning, let alone in later levels.
The only thing I found that I could do was to get a running start and bunnyhop, which is not something this kind of game allows you to do often. The sprint was somewhat used, but you need to be at a dead halt, which takes time to do sometimes.
