I use when i setup my system that update pack (CHIP_Update_Pack_0120_Win7_x64)
in that all updates from win 7 so i have no missing updates.
That Pack is over 5 GB big and have all updates inc.

I think that game is only made for win 10 and use dx 12 only.
No lower dx support that some games have. -.-
So i think DX 11 and lower not more supported from the game.

I've never used JoiPlay. According to its own site, it doesn't support Node.js functions and classes, so it's probably not suitable for this game. The entire game is coded with Phaser JS, and I don't have the knowledge to adapt it accordingly.

The engines are different — Mari runs with NW.js, while Dana uses Electron.
Their next game will probably be made with Unity — at least that's what I remember them mentioning.

Side note: Dana is the earlier game; Mari came out later.
