Is a continue button displayed and does it not react to your click or is it not displayed at all?

Continue is displayed. But it does nothing when clicked. It has happened a few times now.
EDIT: My fix now is to save before I go to bed in case it happens again.

It's the same for me as it is for Draven. I can still see the mouse cursor and the button. The clicks just do nothing. I've played the public version from start to the last event and the softlock has happened a total of three times.Thanks to your advice, I was finally able to reproduce and solve the problem with the boombox. It had to do with the shuffle mode. So thank you!
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the problem with the softlock during the night-time visit. Do you have any more clues? It's been a few days, but do you remember if the mouse pointer was still visible? Was the continue button visible?
On the last occasion I did not do much. I just increased my skill points and went to the event: TV, yoga, reading, sauna, maybe shower and maybe talking to the girls to get some points. I've rushed the days quite a bit.
I doubt I can add anything more.

It took me quite a while and some nerves, but I have found the cause of the problem and finally fixed that damn bug!

Awesome. Sorry I could not really explain it. I did not know what would cause it since it was random.
No, you did a good job.
In the end, it was the sum of all the info and a screenshot that reached me that made me reproduce the problem on my site and fix it in the end.
I really do appreciate any info I get when something doesn't work as expected, as some bugs are really hard to find / reproduce.

Free version is a few updates behind, then you also have the Supported Edition which include freeroam sex scenes AFAIK

The cursor is still visible, as is the "continue" box, but the continue box does not respond when clicked. It also appears to happen randomly; there will be times when I can click on the box and the scene progresses as normal, but other times when the box is unresponsive. It tends to happen most frequently when the "What the hell?" dialogue is displayed. Idk if that will help any.
I have fixed that annoying bug with the softlock. And I was also able to successfully kill that bug with the boombox.
