Worth it to play now or should i let it marinate?
It’s a fairly short game, but good content. I’d say 3+ hours at least, at the moment. Each update is one in-game day, so there’s a good stopping point after each update.

Day 1 was very short, basically just introduction.
Day 2 and 3 were under an hour each.
Day 4 was huge, because Mochi decided to scrunch the game together from 7 days to 5 days. Took me well over an hour to play through, though I wasn’t in any hurry.

In which world are you living, where you consider a VISUAL NOVEL with gameplay elements, with a gameplay time of 3+ hours, short?

I see a dozen new games being introduced, already monetized through Patreon with 3 minutes of gameplay time.

This is already extremely long. If you combine all parts, you have a longer gameplay time than the average AA case.

The vndb standard? Though, given there's only Very Long, Long, Medium and Short, for those Patreon ones, there's should also be the Cashgrab tier.

I’m comparing it to actual games, not cashgrabs.
The previous game by the same dev is significantly longer than this one will once complete.
Plenty of other games here take much longer to play, due to various reason. For the majority of them, the reason is overly long dialogue, repetitive gameplay loops, tedious clicking around various maps, etc. Honestly, the quality and variety per minute of gameplay of most games is dogwater compared to Maya’s Mission, but many do have more content overall.

You can't use the VNDB standard. First of all, this isn't a release by a studio but a single person. Also, this is not merely a visual novel but a full investigation type game where you have to do more than press enter and select 1 choice every 30 minutes. Also it hasn't even been a year since this game was posted and we already got 3+ hours of gameplay time? I expect the full game to be 5 hours long.

I noticed how in the latest release Phoenix mentions moving around in bike and taxi. As the person who pointed out that he didn't have a car of his own way back in the first release, I expect a fair compensation. A humble 95% of all revenue should be enough! kidding
Now for real, the game just never ceases to amaze. Every update bigger and better than the last. Dunno how you do it, but keep it up!

This game is helping to fill the void after playing the PW Trilogy. I can't wait to play some more! I will say though that the jumping mini game nearly killed me but I refused to give up! Only took me ten tries but I got that card!

Damnit. 4/5 on day 3. I have no idea where the other one was. I got the one in Maggie's laundry, the one in the safe, the one in Thorne's trash, and then one more I don't remember. Maybe in the storage closet. Where was that last one?
