Good Points
+ Well written and detailed story.
+ Good looking cute/sexy girls.
+ Animations looks good and has soft creation.
+ Melody's character story is realy good. I literaly played this game for her. Her face, character and body... Everyting about her is realy fascinating, her corruption, how she became more lewd etc. This is the best part about this game for sure.

Bad Points
- Some parts of story kind of boring because of heavy language about music.
- Our story is well written, but its to much daily/ordinary life based. And sometimes it can be boring.
- Facial gestures dont have enough variation. We have same facial gestures for everyone and with this game long gameplay time its became annoying.
- Renders could it be better than this. This game deserves more quality but well we already complete game I hope DEV will imrove render quality for his new games.
- Well we have loots of girls and endings for them and game give you change to break up with them for choising ending scenes, but for getting perfect ending with Melody you need dont do anyting with them... Not just sex: date, not fool around i mean anyting at all... This means for getting good ending with melody you need play game with not fooling around with anyone and after that you need play game from the begining again for seeing other girls endings. And that pretty boring choice of game design. If we cant get good ending with her why we have chance to break up with other girls? That's not logical nor good choice. This is why I needed play this game several times, even I know all dialuges i played this game severel times again and again for every path... Yeah...
- Some story parts is not good. For example when Bertany found us MC said he will think about our relationship again and though they could be together again to. And after that much thing happen, with melody or whatever who with you happy with this town that lines is not logical. If he give me dialuge change I would say her ''F*ck off.'' eaisly. Thanks for not giving that change! And talking her like has any value!

For The End
This is good game. And without that mistakes could it be very good game. But at this rate I dont think this game deserve 5 or 4 star instead of 3. Because as I said already game has too much problems.

This game is incredible. With the flaws it has, the good things more than make up for the shortcomings.

The writing is amazing. I haven't felt so much attachment to any of the characters on any other game I've played here. Maybe some side characters don't get enough time to develop themselves enough. This results in their endings feeling uninspired, but the interaction between Melody and MC in any of the paths you choose is something any of the games made should strive for. The "goodbye" sequence in non-Melody path is where I realized how goddamn invested I was in those characters. That was heart-wrenching. Even when nothing happens for a while it doesn't feel dragged out, and everything has a purpose for the development of the characters.

The scenes and renders are mostly vanilla, but they're beautiful and mostly natural. The fact that this was no fetish factory made the characters feel more real and down-to-earth, which I think is what the developer was aiming to accomplish. It honestly didn't bother me at all, and actually complemented the story very well.

The music was a little bit on the short side here, but it wasn't annoying or too repetitive, so you could say that it didn't add or subtract anything from the atmosphere.

The choices can be a little bit confusing without a walkthrough, so getting the story exactly how you want it to go might be challenging, but reading through or installing a walkthrough didn't feel that bad, considering the direction the story is taking.

In the end, I would say you should play this game more for the story, rather than sex scenes and fan service, which is more like a complimentary addition. However, the story itself is incredibly satisfying, if you take a moment to get into and not just skip through a bunch of it.

Review of version [V1.00 Extras] (along with lains WT mod)

Overall, this is a great game with its main strength being the natural build up of the story and the beautiful writing. Furthermore the main character (meaning Melody) is the most loveable character I've seen in an adult visual novel.

The animations during the scenes are good but are surpassed by some of the other games on this website. However this is never an issue for the game, as all of the characters are beautifully rendered and there are multiple body types, one for everyones liking.

As I've waited for playing this game until it was finished along with the addition of lain's mod, I highly recommend adding this mod. Not so much for the walkthrough part (as this can easily be replaced with the official walkthrough), but as it lists that it adds a few songs. I don't know how much songs have been added to the original by the mod (and I don't have the intention to replay the game without the mod in order to find out ), but al the songs are beautifully selected and really add to the immersion.

If I had to select two things that could make this great game even better, then it would be the addition of more humour and further adding to another character.
The humour is pretty easily to explain. I know the story is about music, but sometimes the MC just keeps talking about its music career and sometimes just passes up on opportunities to make a joke. In those long dialogues a joke would make the conversation more enjoyable to watch.
By further adding to another character, I mean making another character as interesting as Melody in order to make the choice of going with another character worth it. The game is called Melody, so it is no surprise that the story centres on her. But making the MC spend a little more time with one of the other characters would make the choice to end up with another character more interesting, now every other ending other then the "Melody ending" is just not as enticing. It doesn't even have to be more sex scenes or animations but just a few extra encounter in a restaurant or park would keep them more interesting.

Overall this game has some of the best writing of any game I've seen and any flaws that I could find are massively overshadowed by the loveable character that is Melody.

Cute and sweet. The generic copyrightfree music bothers me as does the lack of any sort of musical minigames, but the story is nice and mostly dramafree (Which is absurd and comedic). Especially like that if you are on a multi relationship path you have the option to end them as they come once you decide which path (Main or side girl) to follow.

Simply The best game I found here!!! The story is awesome, the graphics are very good, the dialogues keep you pined to the story which makes you wish it would never end! I strongly recommend this game to anyone who likes a truly good story!

This game is flawless! Amazing story, incredible renders. Can't say enough good about it. I was hooked from start to finish! I truly felt for these characters and what was going on in their lives. They are as engrossing as they are beautiful. Even became a Patron to help further more amazing releases!!!!

Superb story, great graphic quality, pretty fine animations, lovely characters and very unique music theme for this kind of game.
I definitly recommend this game, after finishing I feel this kind of empty as after great book, kinda hope that Melody 2 will appear in future.

The game Melody is good but has many flaws.

Pros:
-Renders are great.
-A lot of locations and different clothes.
-Expressions of the f. characters are realistic.
-The girls are hot and cute.
-Original theme for a porn game.

Cons:
-The main topic is music, but the game itself lacks many songs. There's a lot of discussions made by a passionate of music, who didn't understand that it did not felt right to have so many scenes without any music in a game centered around this topic.
-MC personality is dull. He's in the shadows, from start to finish.
-Vanilla is fine, but it's too much : it feels like a Harem game, in the gallery we can see harem related scenes, but we can't unlock them in the game, it's not logical and annoying.
-The story is boring. Too much unnecessary text and not enough interesting development, exciting or sexy scenes.
-Too much music quiz and the only possibility to cheat, if you don't know the answer, (but don't want to miss a scene) is to look at the walkthrough/code.

I enjoyed playing this game, but I will forget it soon.

Arguably the best completed 3D render game on this site. The character models are gorgeous, the story is good and the sex scenes are really hot. The devoloper has also been consistent and very transparent about the development. Top quality VN imo. Looking forward to their next game.

This game is one of the best examples of what the Adult VN genre has to offer. The game has deep story-telling mechanics while offering great entertainment and excellent renders. All the mini-games are also fun and there are even some teachable moments. All in all, definitely one of the best games around.

To me MrDots is the measure for the rest of the games and it's tough to get to his standards. This game has a great story and you can tell some research and knowledge went into it. Great characters, many different endings and no grind. All around a must play. My only problem is I wish the name of this game was Sophia, Melody is nice and all but Sophia has it going on.

This VN achieved something no other has done. It actualy managed to hit me right in the feels, especially the ending sequences (both the "Good" ending and the "Perfect" ending. Alway6s the sign of something that is well written. Ther characters are believable without turning too cheesy and you can empathize easily with them and invest.

The MC never comes off as a perv which is a difficult thing to do in these games. it si a natural progression from "Brat student" to lifelong true love.

Can't wait for MrDot's next story.

Really a wonderful game. Superb amations, beautiful girls and wonderful script. Melody is the sweetest and most beautiful girl of them all. When you reach the perfect ending it really makes you feel happy for the MC. No other game has yet surprised me with such a beautiful story. It really stands out and is in my top 3 on this site.

Great game. Melody is a really endearing character and the MC is a nice and smart guy (event though a little of a doormat with a certain woman, yeah you Beth !)
The other characters are good too, but most of all the dynamic between our two lead characters and the story are very good. If you want a great romance and great sex scenes, that game has it all.

Melody's aunt and the girl next door were my favorites, very charming women.

There is some problems in Melody points and stats relation, but it's not game breaking, and all relations working fine.

All and all it's a well written game with very good renders and animation, interesting characters with enough differences between them (in terms of appearance and behavior) and replayability.

Great story, great game, great renders has a actual sense of writing unlike most creators and has u hooked the only problem I've had with the game are the animations and some of the endings and story felt drag out and not much thought was put into it and i felt certain parts of the game were boring other then that it's a good game

This is a perfect game along with Mr. Dot's other game Dating my Daughter. Both of them have realistic settings with most real looking girls. None with huge unrealistic looking breast (Something he joked about in the game), great beautiful and unique looks that were not taken from other games.

My favorite part of these games is that the Dev connected both of his games with a few camos and references from his other game, along with other games like Being a DIK, Teaching Lessons, and others.

Also, if you are like me and hate when the Main Character is a huge pervert who wants to bang anything with a pair of tits, then this is a perfect game. It forces on character building and learning about characters long before anything sexual happens. Though, I've seen a lot of people call him a "Blue-Balls game maker" because of the less sex and more story.

Anyways, I rate this game a perfect score and can't wait for this to continue and Dating my Daughter, along with any other game he might make in the furture.
