So, Midlife Crisis is...fun.

If you want a taboo game that doesn't try and fail to be more than it is, then here ya go.

The plot thus far is basically, "bang everything including everyone in your own (non) family."

The characters are all attractive with different body types, which is refreshing. And the renders, while not top-top-tier, are good to great, I'd say.

The writing itself is...fine. Not notable. Except for in lewd scenes where the taboo dirty talk hits just right on some Goldylocks shit.

I also enjoyed the addition of (optional) Trans content. Need more of that in adult games, imo.

A few blah things for me;

While I do appreciate the MC having a more realistic body type for a guy his age, instead of him being absolutely shredded for no reason, his weird, soulless demon eyes creeped me the fuck out.

And one character in particular, though said to be 18 in the game, just made me super uncomfortable, so I avoided her at all cost.

Overall, a fun, spicy play.

I played this game for the first time some time ago. I remember not liking it. Way too "amateurish" would be how I would describe it. The dialogue annoyed me a lot, with the characters ending every single sentence with a "haha". The renders weren't top-notch compared to other games. The protagonist was a borderline "ugly fat bastard" (he could still be old, but handsome - would explain all the young attractive girls jumping on his cock).

But the game improved as time went on. It's not perfect, but the dialogue got better, the protagonist is not so hideous anymore, the dev breaks the fourth wall to explain renders issues, but you can see they have been working on it. But most importantly, the game delivers what it promises: a fuck fest of an older married man with a bunch of young women, including his (step) daughters and their friends.

If you didn't like the beginning of this game, you should still press forward, because you will get what you came for eventually. Could have been better, but it still delivers.

I discovered this game just a few days ago. Well, it can look one of the kinkiest games of the site (MC bangs every breathing human being, and every single member of the family, luckily they haven't pets at home), but it's really really funny, kudos to dev's sense of humour.

Cons

• Lots of miscellaneous render problems: clipping of hair, clothing, and body parts, lots of lighting issues, skin color problems, eyes that are completely black, clothing fitting issues, etc. The renders get progressively better as the game develops, however, problems still exist. I still commonly see ears full of head hair, clothing clipping through body parts, and lighting issues.
• Sarah's breasts all but disappear with two different outfits mid-game. Fortunately the two outfits aren't used much and are only seen mid-game.
• Breasts will often stand straight up if the girl is laying flat on her back as if gravity wasn't affecting them. It is especially bad with Amanda.
• Stephanie's character model barely has an areola (area around the nipples). It is very light, small, and barely noticeable.
• Too many scenes are overly dark. I understand that the dev wants some realism here but if I can't see what is being shown due to the scene being near black then what is the point?
• The MC takes several of the girl's virginity during the game. The sex scenes for this are highly unrealistic. No mention of the girls having trouble taking a dick his size and they often take him balls deep their very first stroke??? Dev, we need to talk about what a girl experiences when her virginity is taken. They feel lots of emotions and great physical pressure in a very sensitive area that they have never experienced before. Muscles are being stretched that have never been stretched before and it is painful. A virgin taking a big dick easily and balls deep right away is pure fantasy and ridiculous (unless you want to cause the girl great pain and possibly injure her)! Virgins have actually died in real life from being fucked too hard with a large dick (massive vaginal tearing and bleeding/hemorrhaging). Vaginas adapt pretty quickly but the first time is especially painful and uncomfortable. Even vaginas that have been fucked a lot will experience pain when they get fucked by a cock that is fatter and/or longer than they are used to (their vaginal muscles are being stretched again). You often see this in brand new porn star casting videos (real 1st castings, not the multitude of fake ones that are acted).
• Very few animations - You either need to do it right or remove them and just stick with rendered pictures
• Animations are too low FPS, often lack enough penetration, and are very robotic in appearance. More body parts need to be moving in order for it to look realistic. Most of the animations look like two statues having sex. 20 FPS is what is needed to make them smooth. The 2 to 4 FPS animations look really bad!

I would strongly consider re-doing all of the scenes where the MC takes a girl's virginity (see the Cons for more details).

I would strongly consider re-doing all the animations or removing them altogether and adding extra renders to make up for it in the affected sex scenes. You need to make a choice here, go one way or the other, not half way for both.

The excellent writing and story really sell this game! Despite the many rendering and animation issues, the game is excellent overall and I really enjoyed my experience with this game!

This game has one of the best written stories on this site in my opinion! The dev has a lot of creative talent with writing no doubt! The game made me laugh on multiple occasions which is rare and refreshing!

oh what a journey , i remember when i first played this at one of it's very earliest releases and was going to give it a 1 star rating , but refrained myself when i knew Nefastus was still learning and it's his first game. and now it can only be described by one word:
Masterpiece

One of the better VNs I've played by far. Lots of variety in the characters' personalities, good body type variety, not your usual protagonist either. Writing is also better than most, both in terms of story content AND grammar, handling a couple of touchy subjects fairly well. Jennifer and Tracy are just the best.

One of my favorite games. The sex scenes are good and appropriately frequent. The characters are actual characters, and not just sex dolls. It covers a good amount of various fetishes out there, but makes it so you don't have to engage in ones you aren't a fan of. Only downside was the development time, but apparently the dev just got out of the hospital so that's totally reasonable.

This game is a bit uneven, but the bottom line is that it's a fapathon, with lots of hot scenes, making it one of my favorite titles with the incest tag. The MC is a good guy. He's cheesy as hell, but I appreciate that he's not a douche.

The artwork and renders are pretty good. The few animations in the game, unfortunately, are poor, but that's not a big deal for me.

There isn't much story worth talking about. Plot elements pop up only briefly now and again, generally to serve the goal of the MC's building up his ever-growing harem of wife, sister, daughters, niece, and assorted non-family members.

It's also nice to see Melissa from Foot of the Mountains getting work again. She's let herself go a bit since her heyday, but she still looks pretty good : )

This game is just made me realize that situation, context, choices, writing, and build-up can make you real horny even with shitty animation and average models. Jessica is fucking sexy and Christine is the best girl.

Just finished v0.25 and have to say this hit all the right spots for me. I realize this wont be everyone's cup of tea but for me I loved it.
The only issue I had was easily avoided (dont like cuck) with a simple choice.
I thought the story was exceptionally well written and the characters engaging. I could play my way and the story matched what I was choosing with no forced issues that didnt seem to fit to keep the plot rolling along I have seen in other games like this.
Some spelling and grammar mistakes but not enough to detract from the story line. A surprising amount of content that took me a decent time to run through. May not have lot of replay value for some but this entertained me for hours and even though I would play and make the same decisions I would still replay it purely for the story. Like reading a favorite book again. I really enjoyed this one and will be looking forward to future updates continuing the story. Thankyou Nefastus Games for sharing

Review on v0.25

I resisted playing this game for a long time. The renders didn't look too promising, especially those of the MC and his wife, and when I did DL it for the first time because I thought I should probably trust the great reviews, it leaned way too hard on the incest for my taste right out of the gate.
Plus, I couldn't really identify with the MC as this sort of creepy middle-aged guy.

But still, I knew the good reviews had to mean something so I just forced myself through the beginning and I slowly started to like it more and more.
The renders stay somewhat below-average throughout but you do get used to them and there are a lot of other things to like.

The MC actually came to surprise me because he isn't your typical sort of boring hetcis creep like most of these VN MC's and like he seemed at first but actually open to a lot of different kinks (if you choose to), at times pretty witty and funny, and actually fairly respectful of women's boundaries.

The same sort of thing goes for the other characters who all have a pretty good characterization, they feel more unique and well thought-out than you mostly expect from these sorts of games. The women are of course, as is to be expected from a porn game, all way too into the MC to be realistic but the way it's written sort of forgives that because they do seem to have different reasons and motivations for wanting to get into the MC's pants.

There isn't too much plot happening but the character explorations do keep it at least interesting enough although the writing and dialogue could often be more concise and efficient.

One major nitpick for me is the way that the game's trans LI is handled because the extent to which the game goes to not offend people who aren't interested in romancing her comes across as almost transphobic; I mean, you can make her an optional love interest, that's obviously fine, but the way you get the option of just never seeing her, like before she's introduced, there's this big warning like *WARNING: TRANS CONTENT, DO YOU WANT TO SEE THIS??* and giving people the option to just shut her out of the game completely, eehhhhh, that seems very icky to me.
It seems like it's catering to people who just want to pretend like trans people don't exist and this also has the unfortunate side effect that she's talked about as a trans person before she's ever introduced which makes it seem like she's only there "to be the trans love interest", like that's all that defines her. Just not ideal over all even though I kinda like the character and her arc with the MC.


But all in all, this is a fun hot romp with loads of different sexual options which still all remain optional throughout so there should be something there for almost anyone. The middling quality of the renders and the writing keep it in the middle range 3-stars for me though.

Okay, not the first to say this, but the original renders were a little off putting, but after a while, they get better and you start to recognize the marvelous diversity of fuckability that is really out there.

The wife is hot, if you like MILFs (which I do) and is hot in a COMPLETELY normal kinda way. Big tits? Well, in your 40's they will get a bit pendulous. Stretch marks are a real thing, but if you've lived long enough to have pendulous tits and some stretch marks on those birthing hips, then you can probably fuck with enthusiasm and skill. The character writing is very good, every one feels like a real person with strengths and weaknesses. Models are great, they look good, and are unique enough to give the game a special feel. This game hits everything I'm looking for in a game, and I'm excited for the future.

This is the definition of a romp game. The plot? Well, you're a guy with a family that fucks every woman he meets. Renders are hit and miss, but mostly do the job. The models are mostly attractive, personally I think that Sarah is absolutely gorgeous.

If you're looking for an engaging, deep story, you should stay away from this game. If you want non stop action, play it. There's already a lot of content in the game.

Damn this is a fun game. It has good story elements and plenty of paths you can take. Right now I am on the "fuck everything" path so I can get an idea of the content. There is a ton of content for a 0.25 version game. I can definitely seem me coming back and trying different paths as it is a very entertaining game.

The graphics are not the best, but good. Animation is a bit jerky and not as smooth as other newer games. However the story and action more than makes up for it.

This game is one of the hottest harem/incest games on the site. There is so much to love. Here's a pick:

- The MC is not a whining kid, but an actually likable guy
- There are a lot of girls, all with different body types and personalities
- The scenes are almost always erotic as hell without becoming too over-the-top fabricated
- The dialogue is sharp and witty
- There is no grind whatsoever
- The developer has a great sense of humor
- There is a ton of content, satisfying many kinks
- The more controversial content (trap, ntr) is avoidable

Yes, I know some people complain that the lighting is uneven ("ghost girl"), there are some typos, the author sometimes breaks the fourth wall, or blablabla. I don't care. In the end, this is one hell of a fappable game and if any of the tags interest you, you owe it to yourself to try it out.

For me, this VN is one that defines the "never judge a book by the cover". I skipped passed this so many times because i didnt like the look of the renders in the posted images. However, i thought "sod it" a couple of days ago and gave it a go. Bloody hell am i pleased i did, no its not as pretty as some games out there to start with, that said as i have got more into it, i am finding every single characters incredibly sexy and its quickly (for me) become one of the most erotic games i have played. I love the story and the way that its playing out, i think the impromptu breaking into song moments are simple brilliant, i especially find the way that the dev has included dialogue in the script to explain away issues they have getting things to look right, some of the funniest things i have read in a while (the teleport bathroom scene cracked me up).

All i can say to the Dev or Devs who have created this is well done and thank you. You have provided me my new favourite.

This is very well written. It provides options for many different kinds of girls, and each girl has a distinct personality. The animations are a bit rough early on, but they get progressively better as the story goes along.

PLOT

The plot is somewhat lacking. While the concept sounds good, the obvious porn game mechanics of the decisions of the female characters makes the story too shallow. The dev's continuous strikes at the fourth wall do nothing to help with immersion. Still, if you take it as a light headed story, it is quite enjoyable. One pet peeve of mine is that even if you keep kicking your wife out of your life (metaforically speaking), she will keep coming back for the sake of the plot.

CHARACTERS

This is where the game truly shines. While as mentioned the plot is shallow, the characters are well developed and rich in emotions that reflect their archetype. Their dialogues when the y interact with the MC fit perfectly with their assigned personality as well.

RENDERS

The quality is unstable across the game. While for the most part the quality improves as the story progress, at times it drops absurdly low. Yeah, i know, most of those cases appear on the MC renders, so who cares, right? To me however this denotes a lack of attention to detail, or even (as the dev often cites during is 4th wall breaks) lazyness. Some of the animations are ridiculous, at times even clogging my graphic card without reason. Hey, dev! When a woman loses her virginity and you show a close up, there should be blood, not a shiny cock!

CONCLUSION

Shallow plot, so-so renders, bad animations, and yet...
I was put off for a long time by the cover image since the youngest daughter looked like an emo zombie, but in the end I gave it a try... and ended up playing the whole game straight without any breaks, going so far as to keep playing from my office via remote connection to my pc...
While in my opinion the game rates no more than 3 stars, i gave it 4 because it is rare for me to find a game that hooks me so deeply.

The Good

• Tons of different kinks, fetishes, and roleplaying scenarios. Specifically, the wife agreeing to an open relationship and the cuckhold/sharing/swinging paths with your sister in law are fresh and very well done.
• Overall, a middle aged MC puts a unique spin on your classic harem style game.
• Impressive quantity of characters and scenes
• Solid branching narrative that adds more meaningful choice with each update.

The Bad

• Lack of any real plot or conflict, all these characters live together and fuck the MC but there isn't much of a why to it.
• The renders are average and the animations are subpar. Thankfully the game doesn't lean to heavily on animations and the sex scenes are still very hot.

I usually skip over harem games. The classic plot of a horse-penised teen male MC with a dead dad romancing a series of women that culminates in some vanilla sex or *gasp* anal is incredibly boring to me. This game avoids the stale tropes of harem games starting off with a unique MC, and progressively building kinkier and kinkier lewd content that has me eager to keep playing after the initial conquest of a love interest.
