Why did you remove the ability for the player to rename the characters? Is there a way to undo that hard lock from your mod without losing out on a great mod? The option to rename characters is completely gone from the settings.

Use my UnRen (see my sig) option l, and you can change the MCname.

Wonder if it's because I'm on Steam version, which is outdated by a year now because the dev wants to keep milking that Patreon money. Man I really need to go back to just pirating before buying on Steam. So many devs do this Patreon elite crap.

Definitely. I doubt this version of the mod is compatible with that.

He probably means that if you install this version of the mod on the 1.1B version of the game, will it negate those same critical bug fixes?

no it shouldn't as i don't touch the script files themself.
