I have a Love/Hate relationship with Midnight Paradise.

It was one of the very first adult games I'd ever played. And at first, it felt as if it was broken, with just a collection of locations and very little going on after the first segment.
Then I realised, I'd entered the realm of the grind game phenomena.

It was a game where the juice IS worth the squeeze, but the squeeze felt at times as if it were constructed to test the patience of a saint.
Not that a saint would ever play such a lewd, disgustingly perverted wonderfully rendered game.

What I loved about Midnight Paradise were the characters, apart from the MC, who seems void of any personality or redeeming qualities.

But then we have hotties such as Joyce, Ruby, Isabel, Ms Jane and Sofia to help soften the blow of a game which feels empty at times.

The women and sex scenes were beautifully rendered and executed.

The poor twin brother seemed far more interesting and complex than the frat boy MC.

Anyway, I have to give it excellent because of the female characters it introduced me to.
And the beautifully rendered sexual interactions and amount of choice.
The depravity was also first class.

Although, I kinda wanted it to offer more dominant/sub/NTR options.

I think this game has exellent quality. The renders was satisfactory and there was not any problem paying through.
The female characters in this game are to my satisfactory. Each character has own fitting personalities and body figure with detail. I think it is important to differ the looks of characters because the differences in detail makes the game visually more appealing.
I also liked the part where there is a main story line and small everyday events that escalate the affection. It helps to deviate the seriousness of the main story and make the game rich in contents.
In general I felt like this game had abundant amount of contents with satisfactory quality.

tldr: pretty good game and totally worth to give it a shot!

the bad:
-MC has a stupid name (can be changed by mod. Thank you modders, doing gods work)

-MC is absolutely unlikeable. He's annoying, cringy worthy childish and acts like a little bitch. If you ask a horny 14-16year old boy to describe a "cool kid" this MC would be the result.

-dialogs/story is somewhere between fine and borderline stupid. "Thats an odd thing to say" and "thats an odd thing to do in this situation" are your permanent companions on this ride

-No (real) corruption. There could be arguments for the teacher (even tho its a fast one) but the family....
-->Mom: I'm getting old ->MC: Your ass looks still fine ->Mom: Wow lets get sexual
-->Big sis: I broke up with my boyfriend -> MC: But you have big tits -> Big sis: Wow lets get sexual
-->little sis: MC forgot my Birthday I hate him -> MC: Here are some flowers and a cake -> little sis: Wow let me be your submissive cumslut

Could be better, could be worse. Its porn after all.

the whatever:
-sandbox does pretty much nothing to this game. It could be a kinetic novel with 0 decisions and still do the very same thing (only change might be "are you into feet? yes/no"
Seems like dev forgot that money is a thing after a few updates. It was used like 2times and after that everything MC ever needs is free^^

the good:
-amount of content and presentation.
-world building is good and the locations seem well done.
-porn is relly good. Even tho some of the animations are clunky its overall high quality content.
Hard to complain about the vararity and amount of the scenes.

Cause I expect good porn in porn games, this is the main reason for the 4stars, even tho the "bad" list seems longer

I saw some complains about slow/small updates.
0.24Elite was the first version I played and the amount of content was perfectly fine.
Will wait for 0.5ish now.

Really enjoyable game to play and scenes build up in a worthwhile way. Characters and models are varied. A little bit too much focus on feet and incest although it is possible to avoid this if thats not your jam.

One of my favorite sandbox AVNs. Some activities are too grindy BUT every other aspect of the game makes me not think about that.

Characters, animations, and lewd scenes are 10/10. Menus and dialog options are smoothly designed. Contents and relationships are also designed very well. It feels organic and not rushed. And there are lots of content I mean a lot. With great animations and scenes, It's one of my favorite AVNs.

The main story is, in my opinion not interesting. But I know the creator is trying his best to create something interesting. Other than the main story, all other side stories are great.

This is one of my must-play games. If you haven't checked that out then do it.

You know, this is probably a 4/5 game but since it's so poorly rated for its potential I'm marking it 5/5 to nudge it towards its overall rating

Early game is super grindy and somewhat lacking in creativity. I think the dev had less of an idea of what they wanted to do with the game at that point, so there's a lot of rinse/repeat/repeat/repeat/repeat/rinse/repeat (did I say repeat?) with some of the quests for the LIs that it gets boring. You'll click around a lot. Use a mod (shoutout to shawn's) to help manage what it is that you need to do next without clicking around (too) aimlessly

The main story gets much better in latter episodes and the game opens up some new paths with LIs that becomes a little more interesting, so if you don't *hate* the beginning, keep playing as it only gets better and there are way more proper sex scenes with the LIs later on

Renders are 5/5 and animations are like a 4.5/5

I've been engaged with this game right from the beginning, and it consistently offers ample content to hold my interest. It's truly a fantastic game featuring captivating visuals, intriguing story twists, and an overall enjoyable experience. I have a genuine affection for this game, eagerly anticipating each update that brings new elements to the gameplay.

I have played a lot of sandbox games that should just be VNs on this site and this one seems to make every single one of the biggest possible mistakes in the genre.

Events are not spread out well throughout the timeslots in the day. Mom and both sisters want attention in the morning, then the afternoon, then the evening so it is tough to make progress on multiple objectives in a given day. Then the objectives are frequently gatekept to specific times/days of the week to waste more time.

Objectives get locked until you progress with other characters so it truly undermines the one minor advantage that "sandbox" games can have on this site. The quests aren't marked on the map so you need to check objectives constantly adding extra clicking between screens but at least the objectives are clear so I didn't run into problems on that front.

The game has a phone and uses texting A LOT. The texting is the worst implementation I've seen on any game. You almost never have an option on your response but you need to click for each text either sending or receiving and then it builds in a wait time when the NPCs are texting back.

A game designed to maximize both the number of click for navigation and the number of days to achieve limited objectives would truly resemble this game. Then the wait time on the text responses is just the biggest insult to injury ever. I quit around the time dad was demanding rent because I couldn't take it anymore and I came here to write this instead.

The story and characters seem to be the most basic of basic incest tropes all around. The pictures are decent, there seems to be a lot of content and the English is good so I can't quite bring myself to rate it 1 star.

A game with potential. The renders are great. I like the style and the music.

The first big problem of this game is that it becomes boring quickly. How often can you apply lotion or sun cream or perform yoga or breast massages until it becomes repetitive work? Especially when you need to progress with all characters and the main storyline it takes ages until anything interesting happens. At some point, I have stopped reading all the dialogue. One way would be to make the romance progression 3 times faster, so that there is stuff that you only get when you have certain fetishes or on repeated playthroughs. Then there are some cheesy things I would simply get rid of.

The second big problem is that something is off with the characters. Most are strange, especially the main character. Storywise, they should involve the use of the drug way earlier to make their strange behavior more believable. I mean they have a great story device at hand that could help them with so much. I don't know, maybe they are affected already and that is the twist but I would gladly sacrifice such a twist for more relatable motivations.

This could also lead to some interesting inner conflict of the characters. They could all wonder why they act so strange and why they have such desires althouth the main character is so creepy and needy.

Storywise, I would let the main character give them a dosis of the drug. Maybe he only wants to have revenge with one character (e.g., his brother), but, by accident, all of them get a dosis of the drug - including himself.

My suggestion: get a script doctor. Someone who is really good at plotting stories. And increase the pace 3x.

I'm a few hours into the game so far, the girls are mostly hot, and the animations are acceptable. The side stories are ok, if a little weirdly forced, but the main story is dumb as shit. As the MC you are forced to make choices you know are stupid, with very little reason to do so. It hasn't gotten better from there. I'm actually angry at having to play the main storyline, which you must to progress the far more enjoyable side stories. I'd strongly recommend turning on skip unseen text and breezing through the main quest line.

Edit: I had to completely abandon this game because the main story was just too stupid, and the side stories started to follow. My new recommendation is to avoid this game at all costs. Its completely not worth the bandwidth to download.

I played this game a while ago and I didn't like it. The MC is a SIMP of the worst kind, the women in the game only take advantage of him and give him crumbs of sex, that's right, crumbs of sex. The only ones you will have in this game are different types of masturbation, masturbation with the foot, with the leg, with the bend of the knee and believe it or not with the armpit too, and the MC, as he is a desperate INCEL, thinks that this is a GREAT progress. The story didn't catch my attention, the models and aesthetics are well done.
If you are a guy who wants more history and likes these "sex crumbs" this game is for you.

Let me start by saying that the overall graphics are very good.
I have not encountered any bugs in the game.

It certainly loses its charm a bit in the long run, but it certainly makes you want to see other scenes, in fact I always gladly await updates.

If we want to find one real thing that bothered me a lot, it's the extra scenes, certainly well done, but I never like it when there are scenes that have no influence on the story (they're extra, it's normal for that to be the case, it's simply something that It bothers me a lot.)

As for the characters I can say that I really appreciated Ruby, I found Joyce well done (even if her progression towards the protagonist is probably the worst in the game, but she still has a strong aesthetic, she makes herself recognisable), Ms Jane, and Amy (although rarely seen), unfortunately the others didn't drive me crazy, either in terms of aesthetics or general story.

Overall it's a good game that I recommend.

Story is meh, i mean 2 seconds into the game your fucking someones girlfriend in a toilet, so the style is set right from the star MC being an asshole and watching a sex scene with a LI you have no idea who is, all in 2 seconds....so not a great start.

MC is also a loser that failed college and has to move back home to hes parrents, where hes dad wants him to prove him self and give him or hes brother a chance to take over as the top boss in hes big firm, so story is nothing new.

Its very clearly just a porn game with a brainless kid as MC, why he would go into both of hes sisters rooms and then use her feets or pull down her pants to jerk off, i mean why risk everything he could gain by being an idiot like that, makes no sense.....if he got caught and trown on the street to live like a bum that would make perfect sense but a short game....it just to stupid and you as the player dont have any kind of choices other then feet or ass, cant say no thanks dont do that shit so yeah choices arent really choices.

Our brainless MC then think lets deliver some "stuff" for a friend and get paid and ofc first time doing it he gets caught and trown in jail where an unknown wierd lawyer dude gets him out, MC never question why or who he is and just ends up working for him now no questions asked...diving blind folded head fist into an even more fucked up situation..

And then MC starts acting like a bodyguard at hes new weird bosses office? how does that make sense, he know the dude talking to hes boss is in the russian mob so dont really get why the fuck MC would want to mess with that in any way at all, he should just sit still and shut up.

MC has the same problem as so many other games, hes thought process is like a horney 10 year old child that has never seen a pair of tits, i dont know why this is almost the standard but its boring and makes it very hard to place yourself in MCs shoes, i mean who thinks like that other then a kid.
I mean he touches hes mothers breasts with hes elbow and goes "Your Your boobs felt very soft Mom..." i mean seriously? who the fuck would say that other then a 10 year old kid....its cringy as fuck.

It also gets annoying to listening to MC think "i can just imagine those things bouncing in my face" when he sees some big tits, when you as the player hate big tits and see them as nothing but a turn-off it makes it impossible to enjoy the game, and it has a big focus on big tit fetish with proberly 90% LIs with big tits, also MC cant concentrate in a conversation when he sees big tits, the tits is all that is on hes mind so again childish and nothing like a grown up young man.

Being a sandbox you might think you can just skip those LIs you dont like but no cant even do that since quests are tied together, cant progress with the sister since you first have to progress mothers story.
The guide in it is pretty nice one of the best ive seen.

Choices in this game arent really choices, your set on a kinetic line where you have to click everything, like visit the Jane school for tutoring you have 3 choices 1 Concentrate, 2 Stare at her tits, 3 make a mistake, lets say you dont care about this LI at all so you pick Concntrate and quest is 1/9 done, next visit you cant click Concentrate since you done that once so to progress quest your forced to pick Stare at her brests or Mistake, but at some point you have to Stare at her brests which is the last thing in the world i want to do, also you got to love grinds its very slow progress with the girls.

The one virgin scene in game was piss poor as well, no blood which is ok since its not for all, but also 0 pain nothing but pure pleasure and MC just slamed it all in at one go, so yeah.....

Animations are good, if you ever get far enough into the game before having to quit from all the stuff your forced to do.

Music is the normal background stuff, nothing special.

I played this game since the start. so enough content to keep my interest.
For me a really good game with really nice renders, great story twists and fun I Love this game, and look forward to each update that comes.

I've been playing this game on and off for a few years now.
The Renders are great, the story is well written, the spicy content is awesome and in a decent quantity (you don't have to wait 30 mins between scenes like in other story driven games).

I really enjoy this game no matter what other people said!

No wonder this game has 3.5 rating. Hell even 3.5 is too much. MC in this one is so pathetic and annoying, that it's just impossible to tolerate. The huge grind and little progressions with dull story are not helping at all... Overall playing this "game" i had a feelling that the dev was aiming for the most disgusting experience possible. Which he achieved, gotta give him credit. Good job!

This game has been around for a minute, eh I played it when it first released and now the latest version. I can't believe that the MC still hasn't really been with the landlady. Other than that, this game is pretty good.

The models look overstylized, like someone took young presets and tried to milf them.

The characters aren't better in my view. MC is pro cheating. You're forced to bang a cheater right in the beginning, some trash girl who's also the girlfriend of your own friend. How should we identify with such a person?

The sisters aka roommates are strange as well, don't really match the stereotypes of sisters, but of milfs.

The pricing of the Elite version is a joke.

I only installed the mods referenced here, and my antivirus detected malicious bytecode that the game executes via wscript. The responsible code isn't introduced by the mods though, it's just the game that seemingly tries to exploit the system if someone messes with the game scripts. Never had any issues with other RenPy games. There's no reason to execute wscript that I'm aware of.

Personally think this is one of the better games out there when it comes to multiple scenes/ content. Many of the characters seem original and interesting. I personally don't like some of the story and i think it is somewhat boring but i do like the direction the game is going.
