4* is being very generous, but I think this is a good example of how to use AI in a VN. I'm pretty convinced that the Dev used AI to assist in the writing process as well, either directly for the prose, or at least for the translation from his native language.
The first thing everyone is wondering about is probably the art. It's very good. Very, very good in terms of implementing AI art in a porn narrative. Why? The dev makes use of inpainting to make slight variations within a scene. There is consistency in the outfit (more or less) between images if it's happening in the same day. Most importantly, the way the images are constructed and presented along with the text gives a sense of smooth narrative progression, rather than the usual feelings of looking at a bunch of random pin-ups or self-contained vingettes in a sandbox environment, which is more common when it comes to AI art games.
Don't get me wrong, the AI ain't gonna make the exact same face and style all the time, but the discrepancies don't really shatter the impression that we are following this same girl throughout this story.
There are 3 routes. Loyal, NTR, and netorase. Once you choose the NTR/netrase route, there is a further branching point where you can decide to confide in the husband to enter the netorase or just cheat on him to get the NTR route. That's basically it for choices, just picking the route early on.
The game opens with a stream of consciousness from the female MC, which is rather weak in getting the reader's attention. But once it dives into the meat of things, it finds its rhythm.
The story basically goes something like this. Spoilers obviously.
The story is not a long one. It's compact, but a decent read. I've messed around with AI chatbots recently, and it seems like this kind of narrative arc is about what I could produce with the help of AI, too. You can't really do a long story, but with some guidance, you can make a nice story arc and wrap it up before things get too monotonous.
Anyways, currently, the Loyal and NTR routes are completed. The netorase route has a finished script, but I suppose it's waiting for CGs.
As for what I would suggest to improve the whole thing. Add some character sprites. There are a lot of text on a mundane background picture like an empty room. And obviously, fix the untranslated russian in the menu and some parts of the script.
