Ren'Py best for such games Ren'Py is designed specifically to tell stories. If your game is mostly static images, text boxes, and choices, Ren'Py is always the better choice.

Unity is used for everything from Hollow Knight to Call Of Duty. it’s used for games with complex mechanics like RPG combat, 3D movement, or physics and simulation this MilfsPlaza 2 dont utilize much benefits

It makes the world feel much larger and ofc you can do open world games in 3D using Unity like Call of Duty and all... but RPG maker is notorious for being poorly optimized

Texic please consider adding scene gallery with lock/unlock button and cheat code system or in-game menu to skip money and mini game grinding.

Also sharing or using someone else's save files dont work on android because after Android 10 native games dont give game data files access to users.

mr doggo explained well, and i used HP laptop, the worst ventilated laptop ever built (even my old asus runs cooler than this gaming wannabe laptop)

also in the end it goes back to the game optimization no matter the programme used, and boy~ even tho rpgm was infamous for its poor optimization, ive seen just a few bad optimized rpgm game, but unity? i cant recall ever finding a single good optimized unity game
