This game is grindy and just feels bad to play after a while.
With the DLC there are two characters and to unlock everything you need to max level both of them. They each have 30 levels and it will take roughly 530 full cans of milk to max them out. This means a LOT of button mashing or clicking because there is not really an auto-clicking function. Even when you get the mega-milker or the witching hour which will milk for you the game pauses when you level up meaning you can't walk away or let it run in the background like an idle game.
You can speed up unlocks by buying them with gold you get from selling milk. Except what you can buy is finite and you can't buy the last gold items or max level upgrades. Which means for 3/4 of the game you'll get rewarded with sacks of gold that you can do nothing with.
Stats are only by level up which means you get 30 bonus stats to play with in total for each character. Each stat is worth 1 point so it hardly makes an impact on the final stats from cosmetic bonuses. So the points are meaningless and the gold rewards don't matter. Yay!
