I'd definitely recommend this game. The art is totally on point. Plenty of animations, high quality pixel art. It could definitely do better in variety and enemy design, but hey, what's there is fucking awesome.
The combat is pretty alright! It just lacks a bit of variety and is a bit grindy, but it's not so bad, there's still a bit of strategy to chew on. It only gets in the way of the good stuff a little bit.
The story is just... funny. It's not cringy as fuck, and that's all I can really ask for. The writing is enjoyable.
Easy recommend. You wouldn't be missing out on much by just downloading someone else's save, either, if that's your thing.
