I'm more like you, also because if I actually had to list hundreds... my memory would start failing me mid-way. :ROFLMAO:

Also if I have to be completely honest, while I like AVNs, I find hard to identify LIs that really stick out from the mass, I can pick within a single AVN (e.g. I like Bella, Lily, Sage, etc in BADIK more than Maya, Jill, Josy, etc...), but except for very few, it doesn't translate on "general scale". :cry:

If I had to pick just one thou... Lexi from Intertwined and it's also not even close, she just clicked with me (more so than with the MC).

Lol I only loosely know of the whole tides of succession drama but saw this and was so confused. Cuz there's the project with more mass appeal. But then now this? What?

I actually think it's a smart idea. He's trying out the 2 different options to see which one is the better way to go. A trial run at both is not a bad thing. I reckon this one is a better option. It's different to most things and similar to tides of succession, where the college life has been done to death. If (big if at this point), he can finish it, he'll be able to get some goodwill back for future projects.

He's going to work out which way to go in the next few weeks. Whichever one he does, he'll have to see it through.

We already talked about this in another chat, so I’ll keep it short here:

A) The whole situation has turned into a shit show, all things considered.
B) Apparently ToT won the poll, so Tak basically ran in a circle and is back at square 1 anyway. It’s the same medieval / pirate theme according to FAQ.
C) Personally, I don’t believe players will see this new game through either. Though, considering it's short and Tak is pretty productive, maybe he’ll actually finish it before he loses focus and starts another project, but I wouldn’t get hopes up.

I missed part of the whole drama, I liked (not loved), Tides of Succession, just made one of my usual (sad) posts there, but it's the approach he has to the whole thing that's wrong.

Why setting up unrealistic deadlines for yourself to begin with? Even further why publicize them to your "investors" if you know you'll want to "take a break" at the very beginning?
That's not taking into consideration what I wrote there, you don't take a break right after starting a new career/project, you do it before, or way later down the line.

Or give it up alltogether for a bit, find a job that allows you to put some money on the side and restart later on, but yes with a clean slate and new name.

also don't do a pirate AVN even tho I liked the 2nd tides probably be too obvious will his style if it's a pirate game
