The main girl, Emily, who obviously is forced on us by the plot, just got insanely annoying, so childish, and at the same time MC kept drooling over her, "where is my Emily", "why won't she talk to me?", "I need to find and apologise to her"... simp
I mean, I can tolerate a lot of stuff in games, really, but I gave up on it eventually.
Since then I usually try games first here or ask Milton/Des about the details
I heard though it gets better later if you manage to get through this BS, unfortunately it's not RenPy so we can't just skip it as far as I'm concerned.
In the game I liked exploration and battle stuff (card fights rocked) and side girls also were fine, especially werewolf girl and human blondie, Chloe and Molly I think.
The game is a reason why I don't like forced LIs, I think the only one so far where I'm totally fine with a forced girl - Shattered Dreams, but even in this case MC is not written as simp, unlike Love of Magic.

I was curious and was attracted by Callista, but Sabrina was a pleasant surprise.
The greatest crime of this dev was to dangle characters like Kylie, Connie, & Cecilla; and not make them LI .
Annika got the third spot mainly on potential. I find her attractive and like the character, but yes, she has very little screentime.
I did have Jess in the third spot, but it looks like her path is going to be all femdom and I didn't like her attitude/behavior or how MC just went along with it, so she moved out. I like Ruth and Elizabeth, so they have a chance for top 3 too, but wasn't really fussed on anyone else.

I don't know what it was about Eliza, I know she's a favorite for a lot of people, but I just didn't like her. Don't know why. I do like Sylvia, April and Natasha though.
to fair she did cheat on her boyfriend kind of easily. I only kind of liked her and overlooked that big negative cause she seemed rather sweet and the boyfriend was kind of being an asshole towards her from what I recall. But normally she be a red flag walking cause of that and be kind of risky to get a real relationship with her.
