I've been waiting for some updates to replay and do it (I was getting frustrated with the variable bugs in it - that don't appear to be fixed yet either.
)The next update is the one I've been waiting for - White wolves endings.
So I'll do it after that update (or maybe just before to get ready for it).

Are Chloe and Max now Ash and Hanna respectively? Ik there was also a discord render of "Chloe" entitled "Ash" a few months ago

I'm not sure. It looks like it might be.
I guess we'll find out shortly, release isn't far away. (Dev told me I'd get the beta for testing in the next few days).

Yeah, they’re the same characters. SK just changed their official names for legal reasons. As far as I'm concerned "Max and Chloe" are copyrighted names from Life is Strange, and SK doesn’t want any legal trouble. In the story/update he’ll handle it in a way that people who recognise them will still understand who they’re supposed to be. He said this issue will be addressed in the upcoming update anyway.

. And I started playing Battletech recently - it’s been gathering dust on my steam account for years, so I finally decided to give it a try. Dispatch is next.

Battletech is fun - it just takes a little time to get used to if you’re not familiar with the tabletop rules, but it’s definitely enjoyable (my opinion).
I think I fell in love with this theme after playing Mech Commander (1998 year of release), - RTS where you control a squad of mechs. Then there was MechWarrior, same universe but a completely different style - a 1st-person/3rd-person mech piloting sim focused on one mech.
Actually, conceptually, Battletech is closer to Mech Commander - you still control a squad of mechs on a grid and make strategic decisions. It’s just turn-based and has enhanced graphics obviously, but the core idea is similar.

Could you please elaborate on Mallory’s situation? I briefly checked the branch but couldn't find any clear info, like her model a lot but I am not into sharing and ntr.

Mallory is treated a 1000 times better than poor Lucy by the dev.
If you go after Mallory you can get a really nice and romantic solo ending (or even a throuple ending with Ellie if you want). There will be lesbian scenes without you, but if you have her solo they don't happen.
There's an unavoidable scene with her and Lucy before you get on her path. There is also a single render of them later on (well after you are on her path), where she says she's glad you don't mind sharing. You don't get any say in it, but that's the only reference to it. I'm not into sharing/NTR either, but I just kind of ignored it.
If you turn on Futa, there as least one more scene with her and Lucy.
There is no scenes or any references to her being with any other males.

It is also the Game of Thrones in space. I mean i know the majority are of the fans are gamers, but back at 2000s i loved to read books by Michael Stackpole or Robert Thurston.
