I just finished Broken Promises still got more saves but man when I update my LI folders I think im gonna end up keeping way to many Alice ones. Alice was looking super cute this update.
Alice is generally a lucky name in AVNs, lots of great girls with that name: the princess from Broken Promises, the last hope for Dreamland, the awesome buddy in No Such Luck, the shy genius in Lust Theory, the only real non-incest option in Monkey Business… I think it's stereotyped as a 'nice girl name', and that's to our benefit.

I thought this one had good potential, but I dropped it after two plays (third update). I just wasn't interested in the story once it opened up.
I was close to dropping it after 0.1, but I actually got a little interested after 0.3. Some girls I didn't mind got introduced (finally) and I got a little curious about where the story is going. I'm not sure if I'll keep going, but 0.3 at least made me want to see what happens next.

Interestingly, in recent times "Alice" has become more associated with insanity. First there's the Lewis Carrol books - while Alice wasn't necessarily portrayed as insane in them at all, the books themselves reflect a world of insanity. From there, people ended up taking on much darker takes of the wonderland stories - in some cases portraying Alice as insane, in others as the villain. There are many modern takes on the stories with this sort of theme. Over time (and with enough of this) Alice became much more associated with insanity than anything else.

That said, I wouldn't call *my* Alice insane (although she's definitely a bit less reserved than your average person!), but for me when I think "Alice" I think "insanity".

Yeah, I'm familiar with such interpretations, such as American McGee's Alice who looks outright scary, or Tim Burton's movie. Still, I never explored them in detail, which allowed me to keep my idea of Carrol's Alice closer to Disney's portrayal - an innocent girl who manages to keep her innocence among general madness.

Taking some other sources and examples into account, my resulting mental image of "an Alice" is "a genuinely nice girl, from a well-off family, with a good upbringing and manners, but entertains the idea of a rebellion and is rather cunning. Blonde or redhead, never a brunette". So, basicaly a combination of Dreamland's Alice and your… Felicity.

Whenever I hear the name Alice this is all I can think of. (Then I have an earworm for hours). :ROFLMAO:

I downloaded this a week or so ago but haven't gotten round to extracting it yet. How is it?
Really good. An intriguing story and told in a way that really dragged me in. I've played a few recently that had interesting concepts and plots, but failed in the story-telling. This one didn't, had me focused the whole way through.

You don't get any info about what's going on with MC or any of the characters in the beginning so you need to read carefully and try to put all the pieces together yourself. By the end of Episode 1 you have all the basic info of what's going on. Lots more questions to come and be answered though.

I have it as a 5 at the moment with potential for Top 25 (which will probably depend on how he handles the LIs - will they be forced? how much player agency will we have?) And at least 2 of the girls I do not want my MC to touch with a 10 foot pole. :ROFLMAO: Great characters, but definitely not romance material.

There's only been flashbacks and dream scene lewds so far, so bit hard to know.

No idea if it's harem or solo, but it does feel like solo paths with a stronger emphasis on story than lewds.

Sounds intriguing. I have a proofread today and a short update that dropped that I figure shouldn't take too long, and then I will try to remember to fire this one up as next in line.

No LI guide for The Neverwhere Tales?
So I just finished playing this one, and my favorite LIs would probably be Elea, Medb, and Fiona. It has its boring moments, especially the Templar parts, but overall it was great. The arc with the elves was my favorite one.

. I'm looking forward to the Medb romance arc; I hope it happens soon.

Please hide that spoiler for the sake of new players :)

I'm playing it right now (beginning of chapter 4) and getting more and more into it! Weirdly enough, I seem to enjoy the mix of modern and fantasy themes more than straight up fantasy (f.e. Nephilim). I'm the same as you in terms of favourite LIs: Fiona (my love for redheads is fully satisfied), Elea and Medb.

Also, I'd suggest putting a spoiler on that Finnabair info... I didn't know about it and now I'm mildly annoyed with you ;)

Kaija here but she was my least favorite in the recent update I felt her path was lacking compared to the others
