VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Misteries of the Burroughs Manor [Final] [Fin]

Okay hear me out. This game is AMAZING !
Not because of the H content. Because of the game paths.
Some of the bad ends require multiple playthroughs - tedious at first. But after discovering the many twists inside and breaking of the 4th wall - that got me really interested.

Will give 5 stars after the game nears a more complete state. Well done game creator - I see great potential here.

The writing is terrible. Reading up on the other reviews apparently people need to die and multiple playthroughs and blahblahblah don't care.

When people play your parody game they want the characters to act like the characters would act, but sexy. This aint it, chief.

Update: Dropping to 2 stars. The art is great but the writing and grind... if I'm holding out hope for gallery feature and someone loading a full save than the game just isn't that good and would have been better as an adult comic.
Original: The art is amazing, the story is decent, it's a solid game, and it's approach to replaying is... interesting. Unfortunately interesting in this context just ended up feeling like 'grind' after a certain number of times. Yes you could unlock new stuff, thankfully it allows text fast forward, but you still have to play over and over and over and over just for slightly different and occasionally better tidbits. That was okay now but as the game grows that will get worse, and as is by about the 6th time I just wanted a damn unlock code for all the cg. The slight differences are okay and I get it's going for something unique but grind is still grind.
Calling it a 3 for grind, I don't like grind, but the art is a 5 and it borders a 4 because at least the grind came from a better place than most games. Try it once if you haven't and see for yourself.

I ended up playing this again and again, because you know completionist and whatever, but I ended up being really creeped the fuck OUT because of how the game approaches multiple game plays as different timelines. The more you play, the more the game becomes more aware you're playing it. For example, I had to kill Shaggy multiple times in order to access a new cutscene when I restarted, and ended up being warned that it was bad for my "karma". Another example is when you're forcing Velma to eat the cookies, if you force her for too long, she ends up cutting the game short and saying "ENOUGH" which was really unsettling. TLDR: I came for titties, but ended up with a psychological horror game on my hard drive.

however, i did come for the big fap and the blowjob scenes were really fuckin weird
some were good but the main scene that takes up a majority of the time looked horrendous to me
her eyes just looked real fuckin weird man her face too as she was chomping down
the brief animated bit where she swallows looked bad to me just in a different type of way
scoring this average because while i found the gameplay the story and character interactions as good especially when Shaggy talks about why he's so dam scared
as a porn game idk i was mad flaccid bruv

For now it's a nice start of a Story, i'm Really curious of how this gonna continue, who's the bad guy. And the Art of the game is really nice. The game has some dose of humor, but still kinda of dark, if you read, you see that the Characters (At least Velma and Shaggy) don't really like this life of detectives anymore, and a few other things. Overall, nice story, nice art and good character development.

A shocking amount of content for a game that is just in chapter 1, and fairly easy to skip through to get to new choices after you have played it before.

The art is great and the scenes are well done.

It is translated and you can tell but, the mistakes are few and do not take away to much from the game.

Short story but the artwork is great and there's tons of hidden secrets to be found in the game. So glad a Velma based story finally came around with quality content. The translation could use some work but other than that it's a solid start and has potential. Thank you to the creators, nice job
