So I guess we can likely expect Lamia's to be the next monster if they indeed only use the results of this poll, not that they'd be out anytime soon lol.

so how do i unlock this? i already hit the enemy with my egg, and it did not do anything. is it really have to be point blank egg shot?

When they explode on the ground, the eggs explode, leaving an aoe to deal damage. You don't want that. If the egg explodes then you fucked up.
What you need is for the egg to capture the enemies, which happens if the egg lands on the monster. Do it around 3 times and you'll get the transformation.
Getting captured by an egg is very damaging so no. You can capture three different monsters.
If you can capture the same one in an egg twice then more power to you but you just need to capture around three enemies in total.
