Much as I love the game, I haven't played in a while. I'd kind of like to wait until the lamia is completely finished before I try it out. I feel like it'd be much more rewarding that way. Eagerly awaiting, though! Sounds like it's gonna be pretty great.

Well, having played the latest version available for a couple of hours today, I can definitely tell you that the lamias are woefully underwhelming as it is right now. No dialogue, no transformations, and the only "thing" they even can do is grab the MC with their tails...and not even in a particularly hot way.
I wouldn't say they are downright disappointing, but they certainly are not worthy of the hype that was built up around them. Hell, even that alleged unbirth thing they supposedly featured is nothing more than them stuffing the MC halfway down their cooch and then, er... "Walking" around with her in there for a while (so to speak.)

I mean I love futa, it's just that given the MC's personality and history, I find it more amusing if she doesn't get a dick back and is forced to take girlcock instead.

Personally I love being able to be a futa. As observer said, futasub isn't exactly common. Would like to see more scenes where you get to use the dick tho.

I'm sure it's been asked already, but how do I get myself to have a dick? Some of the stuff I haven't seen yet suggests I can get one, but I haven't quite yet figured out how.
Also, how far does the Ram transformation go? I've got the orange hair (and associated color debuff) and horns, is there anything else?

Ram has 3 things: the lipstick, the horns, and the outfit which comes in 2 pieces, thong/stockings and dress
Of those, the horns and outfit are permanent without having to lose and go through the ram ending; though maybe the ram colors does lock in the lipstick, I'm unsure.
As for the dick, you need the imps that are found in the desert tiles or in the testing area; I'm also going to repost the relevant changelog text in a spoiler for your convinience

The named/relevant imps are the one with a diamond shaped tail( Belle, has a greenish/yellow tint and coloring) and the club/clover shaped tail( Acorn, who has a bit of a pudge going, is holding a mug of presumably cum, AND has a dick themselves). Acorn's method hasn't changed from the above in the spoiler, but Belle's has; hers is the one that starts with IMPORTANT!, that is how she gives you dick status now.
Other 2 imps( Fleur with the heart shape, and Spada with the spade) still don't have anything to give you besides the Imp transformation, and who knows if they will

Those are dicks on the blue one yes, snek dicks at that; at least in the case of them having two, unsure how accurate they are beyond that.
Not sure how accurate your guess will be tho, since dev hasn't really shared much about what the lamia tf will end up being like. Like I know in one of the posts they mentioned having the Lamia use venom as a method for it, but who knows what the end result will be.
I personally think that, since the Lamia doesn't fully "swallow" you, this scene will at most give you the Lamia legs/tail, and maybe something else will give you other of the Lamia parts/aspects.
More futa enemies is definitely welcome as well, kinda wish all elite variants had cocks, what with a decent amount of them having one, lamia included

I mean, so far only 2 elites aren't futas; the Cat Girl one and the (Dragon?)Harpy. Wolf is only one version, at least as I understand it, so there isn't alternate version to be Futa.
Everyone else has a Futa version: the Fox girls, the Rams, the Imps, and now the Lamia. So I think its a safe bet that most enemies in the game will have a futa version, or at least there will be a somewhat equal balance
I think the Lamia may be inspired be Emilia Wars and Echidna Wars!
