If I had to guess the slow progress has a lot to do with the dev actually programming most aspects of the game. its not an rpgmaker game or renpy visual novel where a lot of the coding is already done for them, theyre making it in godot so they have to do most of that stuff themselves.Okay but surely it doesn't take longer than other entire games take. And it's not even "quality" art, don't get me wrong it's not shit either but when I think of quality I think of PersonalAmi or Meruu's stuff, with backgrounds and such, not simple half-body shots without backgrounds slamming together. The sprites are pretty good tho.
I don't know, this just feels like "solo dev raking in patreonbux" sort of pace instead of "passionate solo dev trying to make others experience their vision" pace.
