Okay but surely it doesn't take longer than other entire games take. And it's not even "quality" art, don't get me wrong it's not shit either but when I think of quality I think of PersonalAmi or Meruu's stuff, with backgrounds and such, not simple half-body shots without backgrounds slamming together. The sprites are pretty good tho.
I don't know, this just feels like "solo dev raking in patreonbux" sort of pace instead of "passionate solo dev trying to make others experience their vision" pace.
As far as I'm aware, beyond the ending arts being com'd from other artists, everything in this game from the music, to the character/npc sprites and normal art, to the coding, the tile sets, so on and so forth is being done by ONE person alone; aka Kamuu, the Moncurse Dev. Beyond the fact that they are a one person team, I think what really slows them down is the moving every 3 or so months they seem to do.

I'm not sure if its moving from home to home/apartment/other abode, but they do a lot of it for some reason. And I've seen them mention once or twice that they also seem to rent out an office; unsure if its for IRL work, or work on this game, or something else entirely.

Would I like updates more often? I mean yeah, who wouldn't; but honestly? I've seen worse schedules, and at least Kamuu actually communicates frequently enough about updates and what's being worked on, which is more than can be said for a lot of devs who just go radio silent COMPLETELY.

Either way, I'd say we shouldn't worry too much until they reach the levels of certain devs/games that truly are infamous for their lack of care and updates.

I'm loving the game so far! Excellent overall. I do have a few suggestions and criticisms to it though. First one, is the lamia movement, it's extremelly jank (it's expected since it's not complete), trying to move in a straight light can be extremelly frustrating. The way to imporve that, I think, would be when you wait in a position, you coil your tail(Like when you do when you ender a tunnel, for example), and when fully coiled, you can do a big horizontal movement.

Combat is just fine, I have nothing against it at all. Though, I'd like having a few more interactions with enemies. Currently, you can trigger a few sex scenes by using certain moves, but some still damage you even when you've embraced the enemy with the lamb transformation, for example, the catgirl blowjob still damages you. It would be cool to just be able to trigger a sex scene with an enemy once they're pacified, and have them not damage you. I would also like a reroll option for the skills once you get a chest, it can be a little frustrating when you're trying to get certain skills.

Some way or organizing your skills would be nice too, limited to the hot springs or the village. Not the whole deck, of course, but maybe like, organize the first ten or so? Could be an interesting iteraction with some transformations. Also, having a menu where you can look at the skills you've seen and what they do exactly would be also cool, and with tips on what unlocks the others. Some explanations on status effects would be good too, such as "what is hypnosis exactly?" or "what does an enemy having three hearts above their head means?". It does feel like this game could use a bestiary of sorts, with some flavor text on the enemies that would also benefit some world buiding. Having the mouse locked in the screen when it's in windowed mode would be convenient too.

Aside from that, great game, looking foward to more updates!

This is a good game. Obviously there's still so much more content that could be added, like most patreon games. But the foundation is very solid. The combat, the random generation maps, the TF mechanics, the interactivity - these make for a really nice H game that is replayable.

Just needs more content, as usual.

I'm ok with waiting a long time to have an update since its just one guy


Also I wish there was a way to not resist holds like the lamia coil or the ram hug, I don't like having to be recapturated by them all the time :'( (but its not the end of the world so meh)

If I had to guess the slow progress has a lot to do with the dev actually programming most aspects of the game. its not an rpgmaker game or renpy visual novel where a lot of the coding is already done for them, theyre making it in godot so they have to do most of that stuff themselves.
, so you can kinda judge that for yourself
It shows, the gameplay is quite unique a fresh breath of air after so many fucking RPG maker games for a quick cash grab.

Lamia Update The Second is Here!

Last time we had the first showing of the Lamia TF in all its janky yet serpentine glory; and this update follows up on that!

Almost every player x monster interaction has been updated to account for being a snek, including the Wolf Bad End AND Voice Hotspring scene, plus a few others. So go have fun seeing the difference in those. There's also some minor dialogue updates that came with, but unsure if every case was covered for.

Besides that, continue to expect bugs as Mondev refines the kinks and flaws the Lamia TF will cause.

And as for the next version? You can expect Harpy's to finally get an ending along with other more miscellaneous additions plus maybe some more Lamia stuff. I don't expect any new monsters or TF's till next year honestly, and its very likely this and next month will be focused on the Desert, the Imps and Lamia, and whatever endings the Dev can obtain the art for.

Unless of course they feel particularly motivated and crank out something we aren't expecting or that's relatively minor compared to a new Monster Girl and/or TF.

Edit1: There has been a new hotfix dropped for presumably the Imp crashing issue, and whatever other bugs were reported. Links have been refreshed EXCEPT for Mirror upload, which the dev won't be uploading till Sunday at the latest due to internet issues. SO FOR NOW, MIRROR LINK IS STILL V0.6.9.5.1(THE ONE WITH THE BUG) IN CASE SOMEONE WANTS IT INSTEAD!!!

I don't know what's going on, but for some reason, when the imp that gives the electric shock and the animation of the tail that injects something into the character appears, the game crashes.

Yup, its a bug in the current version of the game that is known to the dev.

And in fact, after a quick check, there's a new hotfix; presumably for that and whatever other bugs popped up in the last 24 hours

The tf is only composed of the tail and unique look for the Futa status/tf at the moment. Anything else it might have has yet to be done presumably, and no real eta on when we might see more, IF it'll indeed have more part to it
Oh it's only the tail damn gonna get the color at some point though

Yes, the color( both for normal and presumably elite variants) is on the list of things to come for Lamia TF. But like I said earlier, no eta on it
