What it is:
MC finds out he's "magical" (no spoilers) and gets sent to sexy monster hogwarts. It's a mostly linear story with minor branches and it's extremely well written and jam packed with interesting and steamy scenarios.

Pros:

+ Renders and animations: 5/5 very cool and sexy and the porn bits are superb! The animations are among the best I've seen in the lewd gaming genre.

+ Story & world building: 4.5/5
It's mostly a scenario driven story where our MC gets to know the characters and does stuff with them. And sometimes stuffs them.
The main setup is a bit tropey (monster hogwarts) but it's done with well written, likeable and believable characters and it isn't just "people talking", something that's sadly become extremely common these days. Maybe this isn't actually groundbreaking but the bar has been set so low by most other titles on this site that this project really feels like a masterpiece in comparison.
The storytelling is honest-to-god "interesting things happening" instead of just talking. Wow.
The character designs are super unique and each character has their own unique traits and problems to deal with. Nice.
The excuses to put MC + side characters in lewd situations go above and beyond what's normally encountered in the lewd VN genre. There's plenty of build-up and the scenarios feel really fresh and unique.
MC for the most part actually takes the time to get to know the girls and even flirts and escalates physical contact in ways that feel natural before any banging happens. This is extremely rare these days, so mad props for the dev for actually taking the proper time to do good set-ups. I'm feeling immersed as fuck playing this VN.
I feel like this "immersion-focused"-aspect of lewd storytelling is severly overlooked these days and I'm super happy to see a dev who takes a serious approach to believable escalation and scenario construction.
There's of course still some porn logic involved and this isn't exactly a slow-burn story, but you should definitely expect something that's one or two orders of magnitude above and beyond what you'd normally encounter here on F95 when it comes to scenario set-ups and how natural it all feels. And that's even comparing this project to the top 10 titles on this site! It's so, so good!
Ok so why not a full 5/5 for story? Well, there's a little too much internal MC monologue for my taste and I feel there isn't really the sense of urgency I would expect from a top-tier story. There are no life-and-death situations putting me on the edge of my seat, or difficult moral dilemmas.

+ Eroticism. 5/5. Wow. This is how it's fucking done you guys! This dev gets it in a way that's super rare to see. The game is packed full of steamy scenarios which feel natural, horny, and with characters I care about! It's about as far as you can get from the tropey "first handjob, then blowjob, then titjob, then pussy sex, then anal"-formula. The way shape and form of the sex scenes are tailored to the character and situation and they are all super unique! There's nothing standard at all about anything! Expect the unexpected!
There's always an interesting twist that you've never seen before. Just. Fucking. Wow. I'm 100 % blown away by this fresh and unique approach to sex scenes. This dev should hold seminars in how to create steaming hot scenarios. Just, wow. Try it and see for yourself! Just don't go in expecting this game to cater to your very specific niche kinks. This dev does it differently.

+Sound: 3/5.
Yep, there's sound effects and music. I particularily liked the moans and such, but It's nothing super special. It's there and it works. 'Nuff said.

Negatives:

- Illusion of choice, either/or choices and needless stat points.
I'm not sure to what extent the choices and points actually matter. I seem to be able to get sex scenes regardless of how many affection points I have and most of the scenarios seem to play out almost exactly the same regardless of how I choose to solve certain problems, which makes me wonder if that system really needs to be there. On top of this, some of the choices seem to be "Pick girl A or girl B" which I frankly don't like at all. Give me the full harem experience if I want to, please. Overall, these mechanics seem obscure and left me feeling quite unimpressed. I know creating a good meaningful choice system in a mostly linear VN is hard, so I don't feel like this is a major flaw, but I need to find something to complain about for this review to feel "balanced" so this is what I came up with.

- No gallery unlock, no directions or hints for missed scenes.
So after my playthrough I have 3 scenes still locked. Now let's say I want to see them, what can I do? It turns out there's no other solution other than trying every fucking option hoping something will unlock a scene, since there are no hints or directions explaining what I've missed or what I need to do to find what I've missed. This sucks major ass! The game is good, but is it good enough for me to go through it many many times, trying every single one of the million or so possible combinations of choices? Hell no! No game in the world is good enough to warrant millions of playthroughs! (Except DotA2) Luckily, there seems to be at least one modder doing a walkthrough/gallery unlock mod. Unluckily, it's not updated to the current version at the time of me typing this. Dev should really consider what to do about this. At least give me a hint or any kind of direction about what to do!

Is it nitpicking? Yes. Should you skip this game becasue of these flaws? No, absolutely not.

Summary: If you care about the eroticism aspect of your lewd VN's and you are okay with enjoying something that isn't exactly your particular niche fetish then you absolutely need to try this game right fucking now. It's super unique in a very good way and I guarantee you many fappable moments or your money back! If you're into the vampires & witches genre then this is probably the best lewd VN you'll ever play. No joke. It's overall very very good judged by any objective metric I can think of.

Pros -

Really great game , I like the pace and story progression equally done throughout the entire playthrough , no renders feel wasted or stay over.

Cons -

Didn't like the slight grindfest and being forced to do scenes just to gain path ahead. That's all.

Great game , needs just a little more polish to be perfect

Pros:

1) The story is cool, quite engaging. Maybe there are inconsistencies here and there (in dialogues) but it can be polished easily.
The college setting + monster universe = a lot of fun. That's quite unique combination, a bit of fantasy, a bit of myths, amazing.
The story also has a good pace - it doesn't turn into mindless fuckfest or smth, it's more story-oriented.
This is the first AVN i bought on steam with tag "Early Access Game", but the setting was just too tempting and... - no regrets.

2) Girls are beautiful, unique, each with well-written personality, with flaws and imperfections.
My Fav so far is Rachel (readhead vampire), some renders with her just drive me crazy.

3) This game has "multiple endings" planned, depending on who you choose to end up with, very hyped about that.
I am a "weirdo" who likes replaying the game through different paths to see what changes in a game and what ending we can get. Considering how many LIs are in a game, replayability should be on a high level, I only hope it will be rewarding by having decent endings for each girl's story (or girls).

Cons:
Well, MC is a bit childish, also he looks a bit similar to Lust Academy MC (monster setting as well) and damn that MC is so stupid and cringy, some bad memories heheh.
Also dialogues need some polishing, sometimes they are inconsistent.
Oh, and from time to time some renders are not perfect, i mean details, like girls feet sinking in floor, it ruins the mood a bit.

In overall, playing the game is highly recommended, it's worth it.
Also it would be great to get even more info about this world, how things work, about relation between races etc. I am really a sucker for monster universes.

Anyway, Dev is doing great job with a game, good luck with it.

The setting is very beautiful and unusual. The music is excellent, as are the facial expressions. The dynamism of the shots and transformations is good. I'm actually uncertain whether this is a 4-star or a 5-star VN. Since it is still in an early stage, meaning that the story has not developed fully, I'll keep the 4 stars for now. It shows great promise, characters are well-rounded and even though not completely new and original, the story manages to be fresh and pleasant to read. I may agree with other fellow reviewers for what concers the main character (not the sharpest tool in the shed), but the LIs greatly compensate for that. The consistent update schedule is also a plus, and if all the premises are respected, then this is going to be one of the best of its genre.

This is kind of a good game in some ways. The art is varied, the theme (while not new) is a somewhat interesting take and the characters are more than just a vessel for porn scenes.

What really drags this down though is the insufferable main character. He alternates between white-knighting every girl he meets and being a shallow ass. His internal dialogue ("She wants to fuck me!!1 Harhar!! Any moment now!") is so cringey that it is a real turn off.

So if you can't respect the MC, it's just another male power fantasy of a guy and his magic dick and the world didn't need another one of those games...

After having played pretty much all 4.5 star games it becomes harder to find good games on f95. Even among the 4 star games some are subpar.

For me this game gave me a sense of relieve. Finally another game that's actually good. Mind you, it's not on the production level of 'Being a dik' (although it's hard to compete with that kind of money).

But this game basically gets all some key points right:

1. Dialog that matters (no fillers).
2. Decisions that have actual consequences.
3. Distinct personalities and appearances.
4. Good story progression.

The only minor inconsistency was with the animations. Where some were animated and others were not.

Not sure how it took me 3 months to discover this. Monster College is definitely in my top 5, and one that I will be watching thru to completion. The characters look wonderful and the story is top notch. I would suggest that everybody try this game because I can't imagine how anybody would not like it.
To the developer: Thanks for creating an amazing world full of lovable characters with all kinds of personalities. This is so good that I would love to see it converted to a movie or series.

Great VN with a unique setting, intriguing story and choices that actually lead to divergent paths. There is a variety of girls to choose from which leads to different scenes and relationships. You cannot please everyone though! You have to plan who you want.

Render quality is great and sex sounds during the scenes is also a nice addition.

I wanted to give this game a higher rating since it has a good story, quite a few LIs and the monster setup is pretty fun to normal VNs, if you look past the single minded childish MC game would be a 4 or maybe even a 5 star game, but for me that MC really just kills the mood so i cant do more then 3 stars.

When i play a VN i like to put my self in MCs shoes and i just cant in this one, MCs way of thoughts is like a 12 year old kid whos never seen a pair of tits, hes so childish and everyone he meets he falls in love with, it gets annoying when you as the player think the LI is the most ugle thing you have ever seen, and MC thinks "damn nice tits or i want to fuck that so badly" MC also thinks every girl he talks to wants hes dick since she just said hallo to him, it just feels to stupid and will make you cringe constantly, its some of the worst writing ive seen for a MC thought process.

It also shows in some of the choices, like you can only pick "i want to fuck her/i want to fuck her with wolf dick/i want to let her sit on my face" i truely hate choices like that when i dont want to touch her with a 10ft pole....even if they arent meningfull choices it still turns you off in a big way and cement MC into a childish single minded idiot.


Developers should really stop this way of thought processing and let the reader/player make up their own minds when playing, or atleast wait untill you as the player shows an intrest in the LI, and learn that not all people has the same taste so it would be very rare that someone would like the looks of all LIs.

And just a small hint to how many braincells MC has in this game....
He talks to a LI that told him ealiere that she can breath under water....a little later he thinks he can beat her in holding hes breath under water......
i dont really have to say anymore more do i......

Its also lacking an option for the text background, so with the white text its not allways 100% clear and you cant add a black background to textbox.

Story is alot like a kinetic story line, so far you can atleast pick who to fuck or not which is good but the RPG aspect of the so called skills you pick in the game dosent really make much of a diffrense in most cases, like stealing poison from the snakes, there is 2 skills that helps you with it but even if you have none of them it still results in the same outcome.

This is also pretty much a big tit fetish game, i dont know why devs dont make it more spred out so there is something for everyone.

Its pretty good and fun and the story it self is a 4, but it gets ruined by the thoughts of a childish MC with only a single braincell.

They look really good, but there is barely any of them, some of the sex scenes are just pictures without animations, but quality of the few ive seen are a 4/5 but overall 2/5 due to the lack of them.

They look nice but 90+% has big tits, so if that is a turn-off to you then you might want to look somewhere else, since you will constantly get bit tits pushed in your face.

Music 3/5
Its no bad but not really a mood setter, but its alot better then a silent game, but also heard alot better music in other games.

=> Considering aspects like fetishes, game lenght versus content, content distribution and the scenes hotteness, this game receives a 7/10 rating.
-> The scenes here are a little more spaced for my taste and lacks some fetishes coverage.

2) Has a decent art? (8/10)
=> Considering aspects like the renders itself (resolution, granulation, detailment), scenario diversity, character templates, animations and such, this game receives a 8/10 rating.
-> I think some renders are a little foggy or granulated (not very serious) and particularly I do not like the faun character design.

3) Has a decent story? (9/10)
=> Considering aspects like story pace and the theme, player choices, characters personality and how likeable they are, as well writing particularities (humor, suspense) this games receives a 9/10 rating.
-> This is where the game shines the most of other categories. The proposal is awesome and very original. It isn't a 10/10 because I find the MC to have some inconsistencies (at the same time he has a solid mentality and respectful dialogues, he also sometimes approaches and/or thinks about girls in a childish manner, like a virgin teenager.

4) Has uniqueness? (9/10)
=> Considering aspects like story originality, the player experience towards the story (nobody can stand another highschool/college setup richMC scenary) and the game "feeling", this games receives a 9/10 rating.
-> This category walks shoulder to shoulder with story. Sometimes something can be very common, yet unique (see Adam Sandler movies). This games mixes well some common things (history, mitology, high school/college setup) and the result is great.

5) Has a decent game mechanic? (8/10)
=> Considering aspects like game platform versus game intentions, existence of interactions (like quest journals, menus, characters information and other properties that provides great UX.
-> There is a simple (yet functional) menu that shows girls, their relationship gauge and some comments about their history. The ren'py platform works well with the game. A solid aspect.


Conclusion:
If you like a great game where you can spend some hours of gameplay with great scenes and good history, this one is for you.
I do not know if the developer reads the review section (or if he/she/it cares). But i think the game's going in a right way. Will definitely follow next updates.

It's always a surprise to come across a game that is well written but the 3d models compliment the writing.

It gets a bit tired that every second game is about dicking your mum, sister, father, brother or "landlady" so this game shines all the more brightly. There is nothing wrong with that scenario (unless your ethical compass objects), I''m just gratified to find games with a bit more going on, that fuck, control, hypnotize and fuck some more. This has so far offered a glimpse into another world that is in some ways so beautifully and typically teenage male that it could almost be nostalgic.

I'm only in as far as chapter one but I'm appreciating that there is a story, I've been reading it. It is original enough and well written enough to enjoy and the model renders are refreshingly competent, nicely composed and laced with animations. It is really first rate stuff.

This is the makings of a really fun and worthwhile game.

Very good game, great amount of content and good renders.
At the beggining MC is already in a relationship, but dont be scared because theres a reason for it and MC will discover about himself through this, after this the girlfriend will not appear anymore and MC can even enter new relationships...maybe she will come back in the future but by how the game works we surely will have a choice to get back to her or not.
Theres many love interests, they are very different from each other in looks and personality, different body types, races and by now you can start a relationship with at least 3 of them IIRC, but theres not harem path ....yet(?). As this game has monster girls not all of them will be attractive to everyone.
The game present many options, and in some stances you can choose how to approach the sex scene... with more love or to be rough. Theres also optional anal content and in one stance optional full transformation in warewolf.
The story is good, theres some mistery, some conflict...but its nothing mind blowing (and doenst need to be). For me its well done and enjoyable.
Depending of what you choose you can have different dialogue options in some stances, you can start more than one relationship, tell more than one girl you love her, hide the relationship or tell a LI that you also love other girl, you can enter a relationship -or not-while also doing Li's married mother-or not...theres choices (not limited to the ones i wrote)....and i value this very much.
You can also have MC with different abilities that will impact if you will be able to perform a specift action, or to hear/see something or not and etc...
I had a great experience playing this game and i recommend you to at least give it a chance.

Not really something to jerk it to. Its a lot of time between sex scenes.
The sex scenes themselves are visually boring and more serve the story than anything else.
Really you just play it to interact with the characters. The core story isn't very interesting or sensical. In fact I'd say its outright nonesense. (peak being when a guy drags you naked to the woods, turns off your powers, nearly kills you and has his entire pack stalk the woods in full wolf forms... when the only thing preventing humans from being around is gone... and most of them recieve no punishment). The entire 'humans can come in' plotline is treat with so little focus I'm not sure why its even a thing. The school seems to have little to no rules, no security, staff are fucking students no issue, etc. The whole setting just feels very half-assed.
MC is likeable although his main interesting trait (psychoanalyzing people) vanishes almost entirely past the first act. Bit too much of a mary sue, though. He's immediately good at everything, even people who hate vampires as a rule specifically like him,
Most of the other characters are likeable, but too many are disfunctional. Nearly every girl has absurd levels of baggage for the mc to 'fix' effortlessly (because he's a mary sue) and half the guys exist purely so the mc can be better than them.

As a game to jerk off to it sucks, as a story it sucks, as a framework to talk to likeable charactes its okay, I'm rating it on that third one and I'd say its outright not worth playing if you want the other things.

An underrated and great story game.

The only problem I have is:

I wish the dev simply allowed the harem route where you can see all girl scenes without having to worry about missing scenes in a game with a lot of branching paths with choices that aren't obvious at all. Especially the "pick the ability" choices that are required 2 chapters later in the game to get a particular scenes for a particular girl...

I also wish for that reason that there is a cheater option to get both of the abilities every time you evolve.

Another problem that arises with the current game because it doesn't have the harem route is "commiting" to girls. You don't know which dialogue option of you saying back "i love you too" or similar will "lock you in" with a particular girl and then later on ruin a scene with another girl that you can't avoid, like in this update (v0.5.8).
Also what if I'm interested in Dragomira? Do I have to reject all the younger girls for the entire game to maybe not lose a scene with her later or is she "outside" of those limits like some other characters?

All of this is solved by simply allowing the usual and simple harem route where each character is mostly separate so you just pick which girl you DONT want, like in "WVM" game for example.

great game, liking it so far and big first update first off rather then really small parts. i like the whole monster-school theme always wanted one for these kinds of games. some of the dialouge is wrong with he-ske and the emily ghost looks kind of werid sometimes but other then that i enjoyed the game. ( bought it on steam ) cant wait for future updates. gj dev!

Tried Monster College out based on some of the reviews here and I must say I really like it.

Yes, it is a young man going to college- story but with the added theme of monsters, and it makes for a refreshing story.

Absolutely adore the monster girls and teachers...I can't pick a favorite
The faun, the mermaid, the zombie, the werewolf and vampires and oh my god the ragdoll, might be the best character in the whole game.
Each girl is also clearly distinct in character.

Renders range from good to great (some of the renders of Rachel's face are absolutely gorgeous).

Animations in most scenes could be better and will hopefully improve over time.

This VN has a solid spot in my top 5 favorite VNs and I will definately support the developers through Patreon.

Hope to see lots more content in this VN.
