You know what.

I'll eat that.
I was wrong in phrasing that way. I meant to say the average sexual experience is very light on femdom.
___
I'mma make up an example game.

Let's say you're playing a game where the scenes are decided by how you run into the enemy. Run into them head on, you dom them, and you win. Let them run into you (run into your back or side), they dom you, and you lose..

Every character in this game technically has 2 scenes. If you look at the CG list for that hypothetical game it's split right down the line. But playing the game is a completely different story. You'll basically only see one side of the experience, because that's how you progress. That's where the incentives are, and the game's difficulty is to the point where it's not challenging to be the winner.

I should've been more specific in what I said, but that's what I meant regarding MGDs.

You're right. I mispoke. That was not what I originally meant to say.

I can't tell if this is a dig at 80s toys cause my man... Do I got some toys to show you.

Jokes aside, it depends on the person and to me, they're developed enough.

Kotone is an exception with the effort I won't deny, but just like all optional content in the game, the amount of effort the devs are willing to put in varies with their interest. I don't think it's right to expect that kind of effort for every NPC, especially since players all have varying sexual interests.
Yo, pal

I see you made this thread your own social : D

So, anything new?

I see this forum is as lively as ever... anyways i was kinda bored so Ill leave a little crackpot lore theory.

The demon queen and the goddess are in coots. why because the situation really benefits both sides when you think about it.
The goddess get the following, no bloodshed, prayers, power (through the coins which seem to be a sort of energy source) and a controllable world state (probably more too this as well). Also any time we try to find out about her its rather strange? (Angel interactions and her artifacts).

The demon queen gets to satisfy the needs of her people the monster girls, a stable kingdom that is constantly evolving and no needs to worry about a proper war.

However it should be noted that their is a 3rd faction that is pulling the strings who doesn't like the way things are going and there hasn't really been enough about them to guess what they truly want but they are definitely opposed to the goddess, demon queen and humanity ( I think...)

anyways that's all.

Wow uh, I guess nothing seems to have changed for now in this thread as usual.

Happy 2025 folks! Yeah, I can't believe I am still sticking around here. I think I can do better things in life than just replying to a porn game discussion.

Yeah don't expect too much, unless we find something to argue about this place is unlikely to become active until more newbies who are eager to discuss the actual game itself more, everyone else has talked everything that can be talked. :BootyTime:

Happy new year to you too fellow pervert.

Happy New Year!

Unfortunately, seems we're only getting one combat encounter, some Ancilla art, and mostly under the hood stuff if I'm reading the update correctly. Not very inspiring in terms of validating the faith, but we'll see when the changelog is updated.

Hello, basically finished the game, but afaik you can help Perpetua recruit slimes and get Ambrosia to join the village. How do I do that? Because I can't find any interactions or clues to accomplish it.

You and I seldom argue, and we're usually pretty decent towards each other. If you mean in general, alas, that is the only real action this thread seems to see anymore.
Uh uh uh, 7 years, not 10. :ROFLMAO:
Yet.

Go to the shop, buy stuff, roll through dialogue until it triggers. Current content related to it stops after you recruit the ghosts. It's a side quest that has you reading and choosing specific dialogue options to trigger a positive reaction, but don't worry because even when you screw up the game is very generous about second chances. Nuanced characters and interactions are not a factor for this game.

I'm gonna be honest bros, Im only trying to reach the demon queen to say hi and see how cool she is. Who in their right mind would actually take issue with such competent leadership, or wish to take down the sex curse that has eliminated the need for bloodshed throughout the entire kingdom. Imagine a world where you could fight but never actually harm anyone. Both sides get to vent their fleeting emotional baggage and can then sit and talk things out once the post nut clarity kicks in. Far as Im concerned she has my vote for next term. I wonder if she has any openings in her court/cabinet.

v26.7 is now out with the Livewire Alleyway encounter, scenes with Ampere+Lovol, visiting content for the ghost trio, CGs for Ancilla and Nara, as well as an assortment of balancing, QoL changes, and fixes.

Also that's a lotta text and discussions, so I'll just respond to the things more aimed at my general direction. Let me know if anyone has any questions!

Perpetua is clearly our version of Joey Wheeler. She wins against the fodder and gets rofl'd against important characters. You can't tell me any different.
Venefica has implications, but I'd much quicker believe Sofia was the queen all along.
I mean. Can't I? But I think you have a certain way of looking at Perpetua that I'm unlikely to convince you out of.
And Sofia being the demon queen would be silly.

I haven't seen it. If you're inclined, put it on the first page with the OP. Might have to spoiler it.

You should know better than to assume anyone from here is on your discord, let alone that discord peeps will quote you from there. I mean, someone might have, but most generally wouldn't. I probably would and then ask you about doing so afterwards. Kind of how our relationship has worked thus far.
I just figured people on here would pirate the information and chart tbh

Whatever plans you have for the future (it's pretty obvious) are unlikely to matter for people if some of us seriously doubt we'll ever reach that future.
We will get there. Even if the way to get there ended up a lot more complicated than I ever thought it would when I started the project.

I have to mostly disagree only because writing, like any other creative endeavor, is a process of constant improvement. People who remain static have either peaked, or they've arrogant enough to believe they're just that good. Regardless, Kotone set a precedent for Threshold, whereas others like Vili are fine as they are in a game with less emphasis on its characters. As-is, Threshold needs to decide if he wants a waifu sim with sex battles, or a sex battle game with serviceable characters.
I have done a lot of assorted experimentation with writing while making MGD, and haven't really stopped either.

Bag of Gummi Slimes doesn't work as intended? It won't remove even a single level of paralysis..
I'll have to check into that.

ive looked and maybe im dumb but is there a way to play other versions i may be dumb and not noticing but i cant find anything
If you mean older versions of the game I don't usually keep those around? Why?

Perpetua, outside of her boss fight, has not sold me on being anything but a joke character. I do agree that Sofia being the DQ is silly, but that basically sets the expectation higher, too.

Yes, and no. We just pirate games and changelogs. Stuff like a roadmap will get posted maybe once or twice, but seldom will it be updated or referenced. Such is the nature of people who check in and do little with respect to a game's development beyond discuss and download.

I have done a lot of assorted experimentation with writing while making MGD, and haven't really stopped either.
Which is the crux of my point. You've shown a competence for fleshing out your characters, which is fine. It's because you've spent so much time focusing on putting more "meat" on those characters that forward momentum has suffered as a result. I don't think there is necessarily a problem with going back and improving existing content. I just believe if you are going to do that, it shouldn't be done at the cost of newer content being delayed indefinitely. You added some newer stuff in this update, but at least a majority 2/5's of that is additions to older content. I don't really want to argue over how much of the past year has been focused on improving older content over putting out newer stuff, so I won't push it beyond this point.

Perpetua, outside of her boss fight, has not sold me on being anything but a joke character.
She may mostly be played for comedy, but in terms of being a candidate for endgame plot relevance Perpetua has a huge advantage over basically every other character.

Because of how the game is structured, getting to know any of its characters is all optional. Some of them you have to fight once to progress, but afterwards you can completely ignore them. Which is a problem if you’re trying to pick a reoccurring character to play an important role in the final dungeon.

Like imagine if Venefica were chosen to do so. She’s powerful, serious, is considered important in universe… but she’s also siloed away in her own missable section of the game. If she showed up to do something grand near the finale, a number of players would just be left wondering who the heck she is.

Perpetua is the exception to this rule. She shows up multiple times on the critical path. You have to fight her at least three of those times. Repetition alone makes her memorable. And while some of her characterisation is over in the optional slime village, I think she might have more unavoidable dialogue than anyone else.

So purely for the meta reason of ‘every player is guaranteed to have had lots of interactions with her,’ she’s going to be relevant.

((Plus, you know, she wants to replace the Demon Queen and is a colossal fan girl of the Queen’s second in command. Not seeing her interact with either of those characters would be a missed opportunity.))
