And now, for something completely different, breaking news that may be of interest to MGD fans:
It's actually been up for some weeks now, but I just realized that the news hadn't been shared outside of the MGD server, so I figured people here might like to know.
The gallery in there is as complete as we could make it, featuring nearly 1450 pieces of MGD art as of the writing of this message. It doesn't feature the in-game art since that's not the point of the gallery (and said art is ever available in the game files), but it does feature defunct art, concept art, and of course fanart. A lot of fanart. It's actually kinda crazy how much fanart the game has accumulated... hence the gallery.

I do regular backups of the system and put them here for everyone to download in bulk:

It includes the DB Dump (cleaned so it doesn't contain user info) and a dump of the data folder of the shimmie instance.
With that you could even spin up your own shimmie2 instance with all the images and have all the tags and meta at the ready.
Why monster girls get a free turn after they break restraint, while player character doesn't?

Wait - but monster girls clearly aren't even eligible for this perk because none of the ones I fought even had 40 power it requires
On an unrelated note what's the math behind stat checks? Eg d20 + stat vs 15.
I see that my 20 stat seems to give +2 to the check, which strikes me as very low.
Does that to pass a 15 check I need to roll either 13+ or have stat value of 140 to never fail these checks?
Also - what's with the dice-related perks (Calculated and Serendipity).
They require 40 stat to learn (which creates expectation that they're good), but what's "increases the minimum dice roll on your stat checks by 1"? Does it mean instead of rolling 1-20 I roll 2-20?
Is it as useless as it sounds?
For context you get a perk that gives you +1 to bypassing the check (+Goddess's favor) or +2 to temptation checks. Even Endurance seems to help you more with this, since it gives you some mana that you can use to circumvent the check.
