when you are ingame there is a building i think a message building ( Post) where you get mails or so i dont know the exact pronouncing xD its when you leave your garden the building on the right side one of them there you will be asked to put in a pw

i suspect the Version uploaded is not 1.42, but is 1.41.1b as it not only shows that version number on the main menu, but also on the fact that the backpack upgrade only goes up to Level 4 (32 slots), but the patch notes for 1.42 lists the max backpack upgrade as Level 11 (60 slots)

The tutorial pop up seems to be blocking the button to leave.
If you can't do anything about the pop up, I would say you're soft locked.

Is this game barely functional or is it just me? I mean, it runs fine, but controls terribly and everything feels incredibly jank.
Swinging tag? Because you own the monsters and they fuck each other? Or is there more to it? The changelog says a relationship system but I have no idea what that entails. This game feels very rough.
Edit: When I opened the game again, it turned out half the game simply hadn't loaded the first time, including all the scripting. There's a tutorial!

I've supported this creator on an alternate game... 69 days after... but I've played this game like a dozen times and can never figure it out beyond like 10 mins... I'm mouseing around, and there are people moving, but there are no instructions, i can never figure out what i am supposed to do. Can anyone point me to a walk-through or explanation or anything?

Pickup quests in one of the buildings in town, they give money and explain some mechanics. Clean up your garden by hoeing dead grass tiles and planting grass seeds, destroy any rocks and logs within your initial boundary. Check the requirements for various monsters to move in and attempt to complete them, such as having x amount of tiles like grass/water/desert, once that's met they usually have a final requirement to actually move in like having sex or masturbating, stuff like that. That was all the basic stuff last I played and save for the introduction of quests it hasn't changed much over the years. They apparently increased the rewards from tournaments and made them more mandatory so training up a super monster for that is probably something you want to work on too.

Do quests (big house across trader). They not only give you material and explain how things work, but also reward you more than enough money to pay off the debt in the beginning.
Basically, decorate you garden to attract monsters.
Different monsters have different criteria for becoming permanent resisdent.
Train and breed your monsters.
Git gud.
i'm not 100% certain as i haven't actually gotten around to grinding out a complete bestiary myself, but i believe at least one of the two mystery species is dragons, i believe they are unlocked by one of the alurane's quests, based off the item encyclopedia entry of the "mysterious egg" at least (more or less claim's she'll eventually give you it for completing a quest, no idea how far down her questline that is though), not sure on what the other species is... Greater succubi maybe? i recall it was mentioned in a previous update's changelog that the bestiary button(pressing B on a monster to open it's encyclopedia entry) didn't work for them or dragons for a few updates, no clue on the unlock condition for that one though.
yeah i got a dragon egg after completing a mission in alurane and the egg hatched. but the book log still locked.
