Hello, this is iksanabot. I wrote all the Living with Temptation games for Lesson of Passion. I don't approve of you pirating our games, but I guess the current business model of adult gaming is to get a big audience and hope some good-natured percentage will be willing to compensate us for it. Anyway, I have kind of an announcement to make. You may know Mortze as the artist on the immensely popular Elsaverse adult games, written by Tlaero. If you don’t, and you want to know what I’m discussing here, search “Tlaero, Mortze, Patreon”. Tlaero has recently “retired”, leaving Mortze without a writer. As a huge fan, I wanted to help Mortze keep his patreon page going. So I offered my help, and now we are considering making a game together. Below I’ve pasted what we are posting to his patreon page. This will give an idea of what we want to do together. For those of you who are disturbed by the thought of me leaving the LOP team, don’t worry, I’m not. I still have projects moving forward with Lesson of Passion. I have a little extra time right now, and I wanted to help Mortze, and explore the idea of making my own game, with more creative control and greater share of revenue. Ultimately, I would consider quitting my job to do this full time (for both Lesson of Passion and for Mortze) if there was enough money in it. If you are interested in what I’m proposing to do with Mortze, please go to the Tlaero and Mortze patreon page and comment on this post. We need to know how much support there is for this. The most important thing is to know if Mortze can prevent a drop in his income, and if I can make enough extra money to justify spending more time on making adult games. This is from the Patreon post:

“Hello everyone, I’m iksanabot. I am the writer that has offered to help Mortze keep his Patreon support going. I have been involved in the adult gaming community for almost 10 years, and it was Tlaero’s work that first got me interested in writing my own game. I have written several games for the adult game production company called “Lesson of Passion.” My most successful games include the Living with Temptation series (Living with Temptation, Living with Temptation expansion: Wife Gone Wilder, and Living with Temptation 2: Foreign Affairs), and Seducing the Throne. My style is more light-hearted and raunchy than Tlaero, but I am very capable of writing more emotional, character-driven stories. I have a short story series on an erotic literature site (Literotica.com) called “A Glorious Tease”. If you want to see an example of my more sophisticated work, check it out. Even though the games I’ve written in the past are less serious and more hardcore than what Tlaero would normally do, I think their popularity is mostly due to the way I write the characters. I like to write believable people that the player can relate to, and then put them, believably, into unbelievably hot situations :)).

Some of you who know my work may be excited at the possibility of me and Mortze teaming up, while others may be horrified to think of me bringing some of the themes I write about to the Elsaverse. Let me remind you that Tlaero vouched for me. Though I have written lots of hardcore scenes with promiscuous women, I like to write strong female characters, and I want to make the player have to treat women with respect and consideration in order to get any kind of sexual reward. That is admittedly at odds with the fact that the Living with Temptation series is about a man tempted to cheat on his wife with the hot live-in nanny that is taking care of the baby. I guess I have to take that mark against me if it bothers you, but that game is complicated. And at the very least, you have to treat the nanny with respect and consideration to make anything happen with her, and you have to treat the wife with respect and consideration to reach any of the good endings with her. So, I guess to sum up, I do let my players be a little bit bad sometimes, but never all bad. I am disgusted by games with rape or anything even remotely related to rape. I am also not a fan of incest or tentacles, in case you are worried about that. If you guys support Mortze and I working together, we will write a game with believable characters who you have to treat well to earn experiences with. Even so, you won’t be locked into monogamy unless you want to, and there will be opportunities for group sex, if you want to do that :).

This brings me to the possibility of finishing Darkness Falls. For now, I don’t want to do that. For one, I don’t want to learn how to use Adventure Creator - I just don’t have that much extra time. Second, I am not comfortable taking control of Tlaero’s major characters. Tlaero gave her blessing, but I honestly think I would be paralyzed by the concern that I would write them in a way that hurt or disappointed Tlaero, and no amount of reassurance from her could help me get over that concern. Third, I have a ton of game ideas and really just want to get them out, without delay. So, what Mortze and I have been discussing is making a game that is set in the Elsaverse, with cameos from all the Elsaverse characters, but with a more light-hearted story. As a rule, the more major a character was in Tlaero’s writing, the less of a role they would play in the new game, for the reason I’ve already expressed. So yes, maybe Miranda or Elsa might show up for a hot scene, but they will not be central characters. As of now, we are considering Serena, Paul’s co-worker from Saving Chloe, to be a main character, with at least two other major love interests that will be completely new to you (including a hot redhead, for those of you who love Lisa from Living with Temptation), and lots of other peripheral characters. So, we are looking at a light-hearted, fun and funny Elsaverse story with tons of opportunities for sex. The story won’t be about the supernatural stuff that is in the Elsaverse, it will be much more about the characters. It will be character-driven, with tough choices and some emotional situations, but those will come in between less serious scenes that are just fun, or that just build sexual tension, or that make you smile for some other reason.

I am going to post this to some of the forums where people know my work, and get the word out to hopefully bring more patrons here. Mortze and I need to know how much support we have out there for this partnership. Please comment and let us know what you think. I hope you want me here, I will do my best to do right by you, by Mortze, and by Tlaero.

This is all by no means decided. Mortze is in control. If the majority are against this, he may decide not to make it happen. So tell us what you think.”

I wasn't aware that Tlaero had retired. I wasn't a fan or her games' gameplay, but I really enjoyed her writing.

I wish Tlaero all the best.

I won't support you guys at the moment since I'm saving my money for LwT 2 expansion and maybe the next Sex and Glory game. Besides, I'm already supporting EvaKiss and Stoper on patreon and I can't afford another one at the moment.

If this partnership of yours really comes to exist, I'll support you guys after LwT 2 is released. - vkalvkal

There is a thread on here with her retirement speech.

No champagne though.

I sincerely wish the best of luck to you and mortze's future, @iksanabot. Don't think you'll need much, just a thirsty audience. Maybe start with a short story based on Pandora and go from there? That should show them potential and whet their appetite for more?

Thanks Muttdoggy! I think Mortze is posting a poll tomorrow about what we might do, but we've been very thoroughly discussing a brand new game idea, and I'm excited about it, and I think he is too. Someone else mentioned Pandora too. I suppose I would be more comfortable working on Pandora directly with Mortze than working on Darkness Falls without Tlaero, because the Pandora characters are fully Mortze's. I think we have to see how well we work together, and more importantly, how much people like what we do, before I look to far ahead. I could certainly imagine a situation where the support for more Pandora is so strong that we just have to do it. Shout out to @Avaron1974 - there I go trying to make people want to give me money again... :)

By support I was thinking we could just gather round and cheer you guys on, you know like "yay, go you" and then do a Mexican wave.

That way I get to keep my cred as Avaron, pirate bitch extraordinaire, downloader of unpaid for games and most feared pirate in my PC room right now.

Title pending rework to something shorter because introductions usually take longer than the actual conversation and i'm not always in my PC room.

Copyright that catchphrase and see how many try to pirate that

@iksanabot, obviously as LOP is famous for making sandboxes with some depth with the older audience, to some Tora Production fans, it'll be met with skepticism as most of the Tora Productions are used to VN based playthroughs which also helps with the character development rather than the grind/timing of sandboxes.

But based on talent, I'm sure you'll have no problem whetting the appetites of many especially if it's Pandora II or if you both decide to create something new that's VN based. If the Patrons agree, I wish you both well and really look forward to seeing your new creations.

I love your games, especially lwt. But drm protection is getting me away from you. People cannot always support you because of their financial situation. For example, someone working under normal conditions in my country earns 300-350 dollars per month. For us, spending 20$ a month for a game is too luxurious. Also it is not purchase, it is rental for 1 month. Platforms such as steam are using different pricing for every country. I don't know if you can do this, but this can help us.

Most of the 3a games can be accessed from the first day as a pirate. But still they can earn too much money from developing game. Because people can support games after playing. You must accept that fact. If you are so strict with the pirate, you can lose your potential supporters.

i know my engilish not perfect but i hope i can explain myself. @iksanabot

It's okay @Paslicivi , I understand. I'm not in charge of how LOP bills the games, so I can't help you there, but the work I do with Mortze is just on Patreon. There, you can choose to just donate 1 dollar if you want. Or you can donate nothing and I still won't be really mad.

The oone very important thing that you should consider, is that I'm balancing a lot of career stuff, and I can't afford to spend a lot of time making games unless the money I get for it is worth it. I'm not trying to demand payment in advance. If you want to show support right away, that is great, but it's perfectly fine with me if you want to see what Mortze and I can do together first. At that point, if you like what we make and want to see more, you should make whatever contribution you think is fair for you.

Hey just learned today about all of what's happening.

I liked your work with LOP, as you said it's more "light-hearted" than what Tlaero gace us lastly but it's got the same tone than the "Life with..." se wrote at first. So i'm not frightned and think you'll do a good job or even a great one. Who really knows ?

Speaking of "Life with..." i was anticipating the return of Keeley since the teasing made at the end of Coming to Grips with Christine. I saw no mention about it, did you talked about it ?
I think you could do a great job writing Keeley's next adventures.
Besides i REALLY need to know what she saw behind that door ! >_<

Mortze did reference that in the comments on his patreon page. I doubt he and I will ever do a keeley game together, but he might on his own, if there was enough support.

I'm sad to hear about Tlaero, although there were a lot of games similar hers I've enjoyed, her games were a uniquely enjoyable experience. I loved the stories she created, the personalities of her characters, and the sex scenes she wrote. Because of that I'm happy to hear you aren't going to be finishing her games but instead just basing some of yours in her established worlds. Not because I think you couldn't do a good job writing her stories, but because I want to see your stories. There's just one thing that's really important to me when it comes to your future games, I've seen and played a few of the games on LOP and I really hope your games with Mortze aren't just more of them. I don't want to play another generic fuck fest porn game, where you play and reload until you get the correct choice to sleep with every character, I just don't find that enjoyable. I like reading the personality given to the characters and immersing myself into a unique world or story. So whether or not you continue Tlaero's stories or worlds, I just ask that you write good stories that are enjoyable to read/play through. Then again they're your stories so you can do whatever you want with them, and since Tlaero vouches for you I'm sure I'll enjoy them to some degree no matter what. So I'm going to play some of your previous works and this new release with Mortze to get a sense of what I can expect in the future and hype myself up.
Good luck and I look forward to what the two of you produce

Agree'd. I pirated Starbound, terraria, and 7 days to die. As much as i love games like these I did not have the money and wound up going back later and buying all of the games to show support. Depending on how "beautiful" your product is, it will pay enough for itself if people wanna see more of it.
