VN - Ren'Py - Completed - MOS: Last Summer HD [v1.0] [4PadGames]

One must temper their expectations when playing this game.
This seems like a short prequel to a (hopefully soon to come) game.
Therefore its quite short and most characters don't really get allot of development.

The scenes are really good albeit a bit unrealistic (characters simply going along with things without a good reason).
The dialogues are good, however the choices need to be more diverse. There are a bunch of moments where you have to pick from 3 different choices that only have 1 word differentiating them.

The art is really good!
The characters are diverse enough to keep you hooked, interested and wanting more background on them.
The Sex scenes are plentiful and creative, good work!

7/10 if there is no full game to come 9/10 if we get an actual game after this.
Overall a good game and well done to the dev.

Review:
I had played this game a long time ago when I still had a pretty horrible engine to play with. We expected the game to be released on at least one Ren'py engine and after a long time it comes out with the Ren'py engine. The game continued with the same sequence, what changed was only the engine and nothing to add or change any event, story or character. As soon as I went to play, I thought, well, now I'll be able to enjoy the game since it was completed and it was impossible to play it with that old engine, but then I end up being disappointed and a lot because the game doesn't have any endings or even a decent story.

History:
There isn't a story that you can appreciate and immerse yourself in the plot, as many are saying, the story is rather amateurish and doesn't make much sense at all. The family is already corrupted, so that the player doesn't waste his time trying to corrupt it with grind mechanics or something, the downside of this is that the dialogues and the story are short, making you lose the pleasure of following it.
Gameplay:
There are two gameplay modes the first is a kinect novel where you don't need to make dialogue choices just follow the stories and see the scenes and the other mode you'll have to make the right choices to get maximum score to unlock a special scene with some character in the next scenario and you can also access the gallery and also see the scenes in replay. But, the problem with this is that the gallery is inside the game and not in the menu, so once you've finished the story you'll have to go to options and then go to gallery. I had a problem seeing the scenes in the replay, they were all locked and I had already completed the game with the necessary scores and seen all the scenes.
Graphics & Sexual Content:
The graphics are not sharp, clean, the images are not entirely good, as with animations. The renderings are great, all the models are sexy, beautiful and hot. In the old game there were SFX sounds of moaning and sex, in this engine there isn't, it's just some sounds of door noiseand another noise, which I think is unnecessary in some porn games. The sex scenes are good, although there aren't many, unfortunately. So don't think you're going to see too many scenes with different positions for each girl, the sexual content is pretty few and I'm amazed why there isn't more content.

Why I did gave 1 star?
I do not know what happened, a ren'py version could bring more content or an improvement to that bad version, I was expecting that too, I was expecting this game to get all that content in a ren'py engine, even though the story was amateurish and the gameplay was bad. But it turned out to be disappointing because there is no explicit content and not even an end to it all. You start the game by teasing your little sister and then she does an oral, and you hope you at least have sex with her and it doesn't. As for your older sister, the content is more explicit, she finds out that you and your little sister are making incest and this indicates that she wants to participate in these games, which happens later at the pool during some talks, so she is the only girl who has a scene from you fucking her. The MC's mother, who we were also hoping for something, even though the story isn't a strong point of the game, doesn't have any scenes of the MC having sex with her, there's just another scene with another girl who must also be family, and then after a few minutes of gameplay and other scenes that come up the game is over. Sincerely, I couldn't enjoy myself. First, the game doesn't have a story, second, the game doesn't have a gameplay that makes you feel like you're corrupting, third, the game doesn't have much content for you to enjoy. I wish the dev luck as he is a great renderer, but he will need a team if he is thinking of creating a new project.

This game is very light on the story, but there's enough of it to impart some context to the characters and h-scenes. I don't expect much else from these games, so that's fine by me.

Basically, the story is the final act of a standard incest plot, except there's no incest bc the female head of the PC's household is his mom's friend who decided to adopt him (altho 'mom's friend' can be a euphemism, I suppose). Anyway, the PC starts off being on a mostly uninterrupted sex session with each of his female housemates, and ends by flying the nest to attend college and/or find a job, which will be the plot of the sequel that the dev has in the works.

The renders, anims and h-scenes are mostly excellent. The only issue I have is that 3 of the 4 female models have big-lipped, angular, fish-like faces that are occasionally turn-offs.

I don't rate story or gameplay in porn games unless I like them, or instead dislike them yet have to click through a large quantity of them to watch the h-scenes. This game meets neither condition. The story is bare-bones but imo optimal, and there are more than enough h-scenes given the dl size. It's a renpy port of the original game that had a shitty engine, and in it's current state I had no issues with gameplay.

4/5 for the gfx and h-scenes, +1 for the dev wisely deciding to switch to renpy.

The game has some pretty good renders but as for now can't say the same thing about story. So I hope this till now was just a prologue as I didn't get to see or make any big choice , mainly it was just girls leaving MC and going to study or camping . Looking forward to it and hopefully this doesn't get ABANDONED and we can get proper updates.

The ending is so sudden and absurd.
I want to believe that it is a prologue for the next game.
I don't want the game to be abandoned.
However, what ends in this way is the same as being abandoned.
It's as if there will be an event with four women in this game.
However, Sam has few scenes.
The problem is that she is the most attractive character.

In summary, the developer finished the game in a hurry like a college student who had to submit assignments on time.

Giving 3/5 (would be 2.5 if possible) and just basically copy/pasting a post I made (minus the memes) since it's essentially a review and the 200 character requirement is a pain in the ass sometimes ("spoilers" ahead) :

" Wait...so...that's it?
I mean, good on the dev for actually "finishing" a project I guess but damn, way to stop short.

Honestly unsatisfying "conclusion" with the youngest "not sister" who I guarantee is going to get a train run on her at what I can only assume is "Band Camp". The older "not sister" takes off to do...I don't know, something, I wasn't actually paying attention, but at least they banged, and then for whatever reason a housekeeper with a shitty haircut gets introduced and we see more of our MC in his manly swimwear. "Not mom" (who we never fuck) gets depressed (I assume because they never fuck) and our spandex speedo-wearing hero has a mini breakdown about having to work and study. Oh noes, the horror. The end.

The renders are good, the animations are good, the models are pretty (shit haircut aside), so why is the dev screwing up what should be a simple recipe for success by ending it this early? "

I wish there was more story and content, even if the story is quite weak and has a totally amateur plot. The game that could have a lot of potential, but unfortunately turned out to be a little disastrous. That's because when we download any kind of porn game, the story however stupid or bad, it will matter a little bit, so this game doesn't have a plot that makes you read or understand what's going on but actually it already It throws at you what is really happening on the scene, an incest without any past. It's as if the writer created his version of the story inside his mind, he was creating, creating, and when he went to put it on paper he forgot everything and put only the part where things were happening, the MC playing with his sister in teasing her and she accept the teaser and create their own sex game without any kind of penetration. And then comes the lunch part where the sister drops a fork off the table and goes to the MC and takes his cock and starts sucking, but the funny thing is that when the act is over the mother tells her daughter, you took a while down there and there's a smear next to her mouth, wiping her daughter's mouth, as if she already knew her daughter did a BJ but pretended nothing bad happened so as not to make her son a little embarrassed.

As you can see, the story is not one of the best, of course, it can give you a little lust and you have some fun, but it turns out that after certain events with the characters there is no more content to fill that void that the developer left. There's no more Jesse content, she's just doing that in-game and that's it, so no more scenes of her MC having sex or her doing anal, the same goes for the MC's mom Sam, there's only one dull scene and when you're waiting to see some scene of the MC having sex with her, there isn't. The game has been marked as completed. So I don't consider this game a VN to tell you the truth, there is no end or even a middle to the end. Just a beginning and an incomplete end, it's like you watch a movie and the ending has no answer, not even making you think of an ending to replace that missing piece.

This game could have potential, if the developer had spent more time, because the renderings are very good, the models are great, the animations too, it just lacks a lot of polish on the images, as it seems that the images are a little lacking in graphic quality. It also lacked turning this game into a VN, which it actually is, but it's a poor quality VN, which many will also agree that this isn't a VN but a little story we see in those porno comic books for you just fap and even speaking of that, I couldn't enjoy myself, the game gives you the impression of offering more, that things would get better, but in the end, it was just a thank you for playing.

The developer did a great job with his renderings and animations, but forgot a lot of other things, like an improved imagery, a constructive story, and a decent and perverse ending. An end to all this! Unfortunately the game is poor in content.

4PadGames clearly makes good renders/animations but should really get some help with the story. I personally hate kinetic novels as I don't consider them a game. They basically feel like i'm looking at a computer-generated porn in a powerpoint presentation. Feel baited considering it's missing the tag.

Good renders, decent animations, good UI.

Awful non-existing story, low resolution renders, even lower resolution animations. No emotional investment in the game.

I'll give 5 stars tho for the mod for this,never seen a so clear and easy renaming menu in one of these games before.

**SOLID GIRLS AND ANIMATIONS. WITH BASICALLY ZERO ACTUAL STORY OR PROGRESSIVE GAMEPLAY SUPPORTING IT**

Haven't played the original, but some of these early raving reviews on this remake it's getting rank among the most misleading I've ever seen.

Point blank there really isn't much depth here at all. The writing is borderline amateur awful, with that and it's choice based points progression system presented in what's probably the most clunky manner possible. Which in itself wouldn't be *as* damning if the progression on the girls didn't also start off dialed at "they want you" 100, and to such an absurd extent that the game is essentially left throwing the first couple of sex scenes at you in full "look at our animation value!" swing before many are even going to have chance to get hard.

So yeah, all in all I don't get the gameplay based appeal in this at all. In fact, if ever there was a game aimed almost entirely at the "I don't care about story or gameplay at all. Just give me the sex scenes!" crowd, who won't miss a thing downloading the mod/unrenbat combo so they can just turbo skip to each of the scenes they are after, this is a poster child of that.

If you are looking for a quick fap to a game scene that requires no actual sexual tension build up to get you there, then by all means maybe this game might end up being worth the small size download and time investment to you. To everybody else, it's a hard pass recommendation from me barring a complete rewrite and restructuring of it's story presentation.

Just I think it could've been much better with some explanations about background in the beginning like who MC is, how he's been living, how they first met etc
Easy mod is just visual novel while hard mod is with lots of choices. I usually play the easiest to enjoy the story and scenes but for this one hard mod looks quite interesting.

Overview: Keep your sisters happy with your dick

Story: This game feels like it takes place immediately following one of those sisterfucker "corruption" type games. Both girls have an insatiable thirst for your dick right from the start and your only problem is that your mom is wise to it (if in denial) and is constantly cockblocking you. There is even a bit of story about how the mom hires sexy maids every summer to distract you from her children, but of course it doesn't work. You are like the god of seduction and there's no stopping your third leg from plugging up any moist hole its one eye spots. In fact the story does feel like your massive member is doing all of the work and the rest of the body is just there to carry it around.

Graphics: Above average, especially in the penetration scenes. The dev did the work to make the meshes deform properly instead of just having your dick clip into your sisters like so many games. There are lots of little animations that add life to the scenes.

Sex Content: This game is pretty early in development, but it doesn't wait to get to the good stuff. Your little sister is blowing you pretty much right from the start. The older sister is not far behind. There is even a preview that suggests you'll be banging some tart at the office in a couple of months. This game is perfectly fappable.

Gameplay: There are two modes, a "VN" mode where you just follow the story, and a gameplay mode where you have to balance stats and choose the correct answer in dialogs. If you do it right you unlock a photo gallery. There are also a couple of additional sex scenes that I'm not sure you get in VN mode. I only played the gameplay mode.

Conclusion: This is a pleasant diversion. The current game is pretty short but packs in a lot of sex content. There are only relatively brief breaks where the heat isn't turned up. That said, if you want a deep story or want to feel like you've accomplished something when you bang someone this game is going to feel hollow.

Wish I could give it a 3,5. The renders are there, but that is really all this "game" has to offer.

Well done with Renpy! The Game was still with unity very good but with Renpy it is better.

The Renders are really good and the Story. With an universal mod you get every point at the end of each episode and you can see everything in the hard mode.
I personaly dont like to use walkthroughts (like in unity) but here you can use the mods now and it is amazing!

Great that the main plot is not about getting in the pants of someone because those games take years to get some proper animations. I don't like grinding games so this is my forte.

1000% better than original game and game engine. Love the Easy/Hard options and rollback feature. I might have to support this developer if he keeps going in this direction, especially if he expands the story to include more scenes with other characters. If he dose that, then this will be one of the best games of the year!

A replay gallery and the y.outline.rpy would put it over the top when finished

The graphics and animations are simply superb. Love the models and the character setup in general.

Apart from that unfortunately it is downhill from here:
- the dialogs are very basic and a bit cringy during sex scenes
- there is no buildup
- every girl wants to jump on mcs bone from the start, no corruption
- the choices have no impact on how the scene plays out

This is written as of v0.1 and I haven't played the previous engine implementation. I will likely have a lookout for this game as the graphics and animations are actually THAT good.

The engine has changed. The whole video has become better.
By the way - now it"s become many times easier to play the "heavy mode".
After all, in the new engine, you can try different answers)))
