I'm a guy who spends a lot of money on porn, so I'm just saying here that his business plan annoys me. He makes enough without my support anyway.

As long as this business plan is profitable for the devs, who can blame them ? Wouldn't you do the same in their place ?
If the model changes and if they realise that they can earn more having 100k x $1 subscribers instead of the current model they will do it.
I don't know shit in business, but this porn games model reminds me of free-to-play games in some aspects. Of the mass of players playing your game, 99,9% play for free (thru piracy or free version offered by devs volontarily), 0.1% pay basic Tier level, and 1% of these 0.1% pay more. And that's the system most devs seem to use currently. So I guess it must work for them.

I'll be happy if someone who really knows the economics of this stuff can explain more.
