Hi, hi, all! Thank you for all of the thoughts. This has been a really big step in making games for me, and so I am going to do my best to incorporate as much feedback as possible. Regardless of if your thoughts have been positive or negative, I am grateful for you checking out my game anyways.
Let's address some common points:
this needs way more girls do do and way more sexual acts, right now it has agood base but needs a lot more content
I like Kobayashi, but this is very sparse
Yeah, this is a very fair point. I'm a weird person when it comes to playing H-games, and oftentimes find that I am a lot more interested by the "earlier" sex acts in them, since they have more interesting writing and scenarios (imo) compared to getting into actual penetrative sex. I knew that was not a super popular opinion, but at some point, I knew I needed to get version 0.1 out or it would destroy me.
With that being said:
Version 0.2 will be adding a lot more sexual acts. You can expect Lucoa to have actual sex as an option, and in that same update, Kobayashi and Tohru will have the same. I would like to also make it so that there is a more curse-oriented non-consensual version of having sex, and a consensual, more romance-y version, but that may have to wait until the update after? We'll see.
Is it going to be all the dragons and what kinda tool is faf packing?
My plan is to include every single dragon...
maybe except for Kanna. I don't like how child-like Kanna is, so, if I were to include Kanna, I would have to do some kind of magical thing which makes her act and appear older--and that still feels a bit weird.
So, for now, we'll just say Kanna's in an "undecided" tier? I'll spend a lot of time thinking about how to handle her as I add Lucoa, Ilulu, and Elma. I'm open to suggestions!
Valid candidates for a harem MC from the series includes:
- Kobyashi, because she isn't even trying and she is practically building a dragon harem.
- Makoto, because he quite literally used to be a generic looking MC, so it fits.
- Lucoa, because she is already on a list, might as well go all out.
- Shouta, because shota MC harem is surprisingly popular.
- Azad, because he used to be an antagonist, so there's plenty to work with.
And basically almost anyone in the series, but why Fafnir?? Who the hell wants to play as Fafnir in anything other than a combat game?! I would have imagined Fafnir as a shop keeper for some cursed items or something, not the MC. Each their own I guess...
Hi, this is probably my favorite comment in the thread, so far. Thank you for showing greater knowledge of Dragon Maid than even I did; I legitimately forgot who Azad was (he's going to be in the movie, and I'm not as much of a manga reader as I should be.)
I chose Fafnir because I specifically felt that his connection to curses would be really interesting to write, and I also felt that his connection to hoarding worked well here, in a power dynamic way. I do
want to make it so that there's some more romance-y date-y options, but I also expect that Fafnir's personality will shine through in those, making them a lot different and more... "introvert"-y, compared to the typical H-game protagonist. If I had started this game after the movie came out, maybe I would have gone with Azad instead? But, ultimately, I doubt it; I really like what Fafnir's powers let me write about.
As for the ideas of making this a lesbian game, I did consider that! But, I felt that it was more interesting to focus on Fafnir, a character that I consider really interesting, but yet is basically a footnote in essentially all pornographic content of the franchise. I wanted this to feel like a different take on Dragon Maid, with a different focus--rather than just rewriting Dragon Maid but with sex scenes.
Once again, thank you all for the feedback and thoughts. I hope that, going forwards, I can continue to update this game reliably, communicate consistently, and really form this into a game that myself and others can enjoy.
